Doubt in Downloading Sap notes in SNOTE Transaction

Hi Experts,
I want to download the sap note (442831) in my developement system. For that i am using the Tcode SNOTE here i used Goto-->Download Sap Note. I gave my sap note number in that window, then i executed. after few minites its saying downloaded.
After downloading i searched the notenumber in that list but its not displaying.
Why its happening? Plz guide this any otherway is there or i did any wrong things over this??
Plz plz its urgent. Point will be sure.

HI,
Once you download the note it will be in NEW list click on it and expand then search the same
if you want to apply the patch then implement the note and finally change the processing status to completed

SAP Note implemetation - SNote or manually

Recently for Budget 2007-08 for India SAP has released a master note which has a series of notes to be implemented. These notes includes screen, DDIC and coding changes.
As far as I know screen & DDIC changes has to be manually implemented. For coding related changes if Snote status is "Can be implemented" should one implement through Snote or manually.
Kindly suggest the merits and demerits of these techniques.

Hi Ani,
After downloading the SAP Notes: Check the implementation Status. If it is "Can be Implemented" then the SAP Notes is suitable for implementation in your system.
Read the SAP Note carefully, this is mandatory there can be any other pre-requisite notes or some other notes that might have to be implemented along with this note which'll be explained in the SAP Note. Once you have gone through them.
Implement all the Pre-requisite notes and follow the Manual steps that are specified in the note. Once all the manual steps are implemented.
Click on the "Implement SAP Note" button to implement the SAP Note. you may get a pop-up here to read the SAP Note, say "YES". Now all the code corrections will be placed in the system in which you are implementing. The Activation pop-up will appear with all the objects that have been changed with the Code Corrections.
Click enter. Now the implementation of SAP Notes is completed. The implementation status changes to "Completely Implemented". Change the processing status to "Completed".
Please let me know if further details are required.

Applying SAP Notes using SNOTE

Hi,
I have question regarding transaction SNOTE.
I am applying one note in my development system. This SAP note has some manual steps, like create function module in the given function group with the given short text.
If I follow the manual steps mentioned in the note, it ask for Access key while saving the changes.
How to work on the manual steps mentioned in SAP notes?

Hello Yogia,
It doesn't make any difference. Do it as the Note has Mentioned. If system ask for the access key then you can contact your BASIS people.
They will generate a Key for you.

Doubts relating to SAP Notes?

Dear All,
Being a new bee to ABAP environment, I am eager to know some information regarding SAP Notes.
often I am hearing that SAP notes have to be implemented for some programmes. Why we implement SAP notes, and how we add sap notes to the programmes.
If I want to add a note to Purchase Order process, under which transaction can I add, does it change any standard behavior of the system?
What is Development, how does it differs with standard sap process?
under which transaction all this developments take place,
How can I see all developments done by a consultant in a project?
Please clarify my doubts and your help will be highly appreciated

System automtically closed if i click "Display SAP Note" in SNOTE t.code

I am using SAP CRM 2007. I go to SNOTE t.code and select one note no. then, i click the "display SAP note" option from SAP Note menu.
But, the system is closing automatically.

Thanks for your reply. Now, i am using Adobe 9. so, as per your idea, i have uninstall Adobe reader 9 and install Adobe reader 8. now, the note pdf file is opening.

but, iit is opening with error as "ADS: com.adobe.ProcessingException: Problem accessing d(200101) Message no. FPRUNX001"
What i have to do now ?

SAP notes using SNOTE

Hi,
I have applied one SAP note in my development system using tcode SNOTE.
While applying the note, system also installed all the prerequisite notes.
But while activating the objects, it gives error as for some objects that "Access key" is required to activate .
Why do we need to register the objects while using SNOTE?
Please help.

I think it's very strange! Did you look at sap notes if there were corrections for snote?
Moreover it's strange that the message appears at activation time, because it should occur only at save time (like when we manually change a sap object).
Which kind of objects are they?
Is that a consulting note (programs developed by sap for a client)?

Opening the "downloaded sap notes"

I have downloaded notes from the "SAP NOTES" into my machine using "SAP DOWNLOAD MANAGER".
The notes have been saved into the folder in my personal computer.
The issue is -->
I am unable to open the notes and study the contents.
PLEASE HELP !!!!!!!!

there is a (new?) button in the notes, when you display these - view pdf or something like this on the upper left wart of the screen.
If I want to have notes copied locally (only the text, not the sources), I always view the pdf and safe themn locally.

Issue in downloading SAP Note

Hello all,
Iam peforming the system preparation step in solution manager 7.1.
During the Central Note implementation phase,am struck with two notes (1461965,1463357)...
These two notes are not getting downloaded either through snote or in download manager.
There are no errors but the download keeps running for hours.
Can anyone suggest a solution?

If you face this problem via SAP Download Manager as well, then please contact SAP support.
We had a similar problem for a Note during Unicode Migration and at last SAP did help us to send the note via some other download link.

Snote error while uploading SAP Note

Hello everyone
Today i encountered strange problem with transaction Snote. I was asked to implement a SAP Note wit snote, so i have downloaded the note with Download Manager (i haven't configured OSS connection yet), and wanted to upload it to snote. When i try to upload, i get error SCWN017, Data file of SAP Note is incomplete. I checked this downloaded note on another system, and the note was uploaded successfully. I have no idea, what happened - i used snote a week ago, and i was able to upload Sap notes without any problems. No upgrades (SP's od addons) since then were made to the system. Does anyone has an idea what to do?

I think your question is answered mostly by the replies above. Here is the steps you take:
1. Go to SAP Service Market to find the correspoding note;
2. Click on the button 'download correction instructions', and the note will be saved in your download basket;
3. Open the program 'download manager', and download the .car file from the download basket to your PC (the download store);
4. Check you PC make sure it's in the download store now;
5. Start the transaction code SNOTE in R/3;
6. Use the menu 'Upload SAP Notes' ;
7. specify the location of the downlaod store and upload the note;
8. The note then should be ready for implementation.

Uploading SAP not from the system

I have downloaded the SAP note 1045888 using a download manager.
Now I need to upload it into SAP.
In transaction SNOTE I used the option Goto-->Upload SAP note.
But the note is not getting uploaded.(I can not view it in the list).
I tried to upload other notes, they were getting uploaded.
Can any one tell me what the problem might be.

First you need to down load the note to your system and then upload it .
Execute the transaction SNOTE in the SAP system
- In the menu..Goto -> Download SAP Note (if connected to marketplace)
otherwise Goto->Upload SAP Note.
If downloading from marketplace then specify the note number in the screen and continue (execute)
else if uploading select the file from the local system and upload (browse)
- Once that is done then you can see the note on the screen. You will be able to view the note number on the screen
- Select that particular note number and click on the execute button to Implement the SNOTE into the system.

Some SAP note can be implement manually and some are can be implement through the T-Code SNOTE
once you go to the look at the sap note it provide the instruct how to implement ,
when you go to SNOTE T-code in the GOTO> DOWNLOAD SAP NOTE once u click it you have to download SAP note direcly in to SNOTE and you can directly implement .
if its not downloading to this place you have to do it manually from taking the access key from SAP .

SAP Note 0001613410 not available

Hi experts,
when I try to download SAP Note 1613410 (SolMan 7.1 SP3) I get the error SAP Note 0001613410 not available. Has anybody a similar issue? I get the same message when I try to read the note in service marketplace....

The Note is available again now..
The central corrective note was updated today.
As a pitty, during editing is the SAP Note not available via SNOTE and Support Portal.
