Doubt in ITS servie

Hai,
I am executing "Z" transaction code.
It is working properlyand it displaying the screen.
Here actually i want to enter data to that fields,but it is in disabled state.
What sholud i do.
Plz Help me it is urgent.....

It was the same problem for me in an ALV list. Check PF status with excluding rs_extab (if you have any). In some cases it's not cleared, refreshed properly when you navigate in ALV tree up and down and creating a huge amount of lines in this internal table. As procedure of the error message said:
A short-term solution might consist of leaving off the EXCLUDING for the current SET PF-STATUS...
Check data gathering in all of your internal tables, perhaps they are duplicated many times...
Worth a try.

Get Filename in ITS Server

ABAP Experts,
Hope you can help me with my problem. I used the FM KD_GET_FILENAME_ON_F4. Works fine if i run the program in SAP but when the program is caled in the UI (ITS Server), it doesn't work and then UI hangs instead.
I also tried using the method "cl_gui_frontend_services=>file_open_dialog" but also didnt work.

You should use method "cl_gui_frontend_services=>file_open_dialog" also you need to have a JVM plugin in your browser.

Problem with ITS SERVER

Hi..
we have ITS implemented here..which sonnects to SAP R/3 System...which has few services running
when v type the ip address of ITS server in the web browser...it asks for user/pwd on main page...we can log into the system properly. after logging in when we access the services inside it..it again asks for user id/password where as when we add the entry in the host file for local machine..it doesnt asks for the user-id/pwd again n again..
can anyone help?

we are calling http://10.2.0.124:99/scripts/wgate/pzm3/! first..then we login to the system...once we login to the system n access any service....it calls http://10.2.0.124:99/scripts/wgate/pzm32d1c73ba/~==== URL....n asks for the User-d n password...some of the services are custom transactions....
It asks user-id/pwd for every service..

How to use the integrated ITS server in WAS6.40 for WEBGUI

Hi,
I am testing the Portal 6.0SP6 on WAS6.40SP7.
Using User Mapping, I am able to connect and call some transaction to R/3 System (4.6c) and the ITS servers for the R/3 system. If I am going to use webgui to call a transaction, do I need the ITS server at all? The reason I asked because I thought WAS6.40 came with an embedded ITS server.
If I can make use of the integrated ITS server, how do I configure the system connection?

I have read the past posts, but I am still not clear... We are implementing mySAP ERP 2004. This will include ECC 5.0 and EP 6.2.
We currently have R/3 4.6C and EP5.5. From EP 5.5 I have users executing R/3 transactions directly from EP using the standard Master iView. This traffic goes via the ITS virtual instance for the R/3 system.
I am trying to decide if I need to setup a separate ITS to continue to do what we do now OR if the direct call of a transaction from EP6.2 using the SAP supplied Master iView can be accomplished using the Internal ITS on ECC 5.0. We do not have the DEV systems set up so I cannot test.
Any comments?

Im trying to create a repository .I have a single node OVM server and have presented two LUN's (Hitachi HUS110 direct attached (via FC))
I've created a server pool and unchecked the clustered server pool. I see the LUN's (physical disk from Oracle Virtual manager) .But when creating the repository i'm having this error
"OVMRU_002030E Cannot create OCFS2 file system with local file server: Local FS OVMSRVR. Its server is not in a cluster. [Thu Dec 04 01:33:10 EST 2014]"
Any steps i missed?Appreciate anyone's input

Hello everybody,
i just figured that we do not have a global.srvc file on the ITS Server. Even tho the server is working without any problems.
I am not that ITS Expert, but shouldnt it be there or have you have to create in manually?

Connect to Collab through its Server API

I'm struggling to figure out how to connect to Collab Server using its server API. The API docs aren't online and I can't find any examples. Basically, I want to do this:

Perhaps WSS adapter is available for you.
The WSS adapter is for sending and receiving XML and binary messages from and to SharePoint document libraries.
I can use the WCF-WebHttp adapter to communicate with REST services but I have problems with authenticate with SharePoint Online.

How to know ITS Server URL??

Dear all,
I am trying to call ECC Transactions into IC Webclient, For that I have mapped logical system and need to give ITS Client number and URL in 'CRMS_IC_CROSS_SYS' transaction.
I dont know from where we can get ITS client number and URL. We are using SAP WAS Server and the connection has already been established. As per reading over net, ITS is a inbuilt component of SAP WAS server.
Can I use SAP WAS client number and host name for the URL CRMS_IC_CROSS_SYS transaction.
Please guide me to complete this process successfully. Your suggestions will be highly appreciated.

Existing client (Oracle 8) fail to connect to its server after installed

After installed Oracle 10g XE, my existing client does not work.
I checked its tnsnames.ora, it's still there and the content didn't get changed.
If I uninstall the 10g XE, the existing client works again.
What should I do to avoid this?

1. Before install Oracle 10g XE:
Oracle Developer 6.0,in C:\ORANT, in english language
- Oracle Forms 32-bit (6.0.35.3)

TNSNAMES.ORA in C:\ORANT\NET80\ADMIN points to the enterprise databases in my company

2. After Installed Oracle 10g XE (beta 1)

The web interface of XE works oK
the C:\oraclexe\app\oracle\product\10.2.0\server\BIN\sqlplus.exe can connect to Oracle 10g XE but NOT to the enterprises databases.
but now, all tools from Oracle Developer (Forms, Reports, PLUS80W.EXE) and third party tools like SQLTools, DreamCoder) cann't connect to the enterprise databases
neither to Oracle 10g XE.
In the registry, the ORACLE_HOME says C:\ORANT
Solution:
1. Modified the path so c:\orant is before the path to XE so:
path=C:\ORANT\bin;C:\oraclexe\app\oracle\product\10.2.0\server\bin;C:\WINNT\system32;C:\WINNT;C:\WINNT\System32\Wbem
2. Copy from C:\oraclexe\app\oracle\product\10.2.0\server\NETWORK\ADMIN\tnsnames.ora,

Test Details:
The test consists of the following steps:
1. Checks the validity of system ID in the system object.
2. Checks if the system can be retrieved from the PCD.
3. Check whether a SAP system is defined in the system object
4. Validate the following parameters: WAS protocol; WAS host name
5. Checks if the host name of the server can be resolved.
6. Pings the server to see if it is alive.
7. Pings the WAS ping service; works only if the service is activated on the ABAP WAS.
8. Checks HTTP/S connectivity to the defined back-end application
Results
1. The system ID is valid
2. The system was retrieved.
3. The system object represents an SAP system
4. The following parameters are valid: Web AS Protocol (http) Web AS Host Name (evoxssqab.comm.nonprod.evo.internal.vodafone.in:8000)
5. The host name evoxssqab.comm.nonprod.evo.internal.vodafone.in was resolved successfully.
6. The server evoxssqab.comm.nonprod.evo.internal.vodafone.in was pinged successfully.

Hi Murthy,
From the Result message which you gave, it seems that you are using the incorrect Hostname/Host path.
Try giving portal server name, generally the system name would be the portal server name.
The port which you are using is 8000, try 80 instead.

Doubts on Radius Server

1. Suppose we have mutliple Radius server in a Netowrk. If primary Radius server goes down , how secondary server will come into the picture..
2. Where can we check ,which Radius server is active (Primary or secondary Radius server)
3. Is there any limit like one server can authenticate a number of clients?

1) Its the NAS that brings up secondary radius server. First it will try hitting primary radius server and if there is no response it will then try seoncdary radius.
2) On ASA you can use this command to check the server status,

3) I'm not aware of any limit that can be configured on radius. But there are certain paremeters you can set up (That depends on verdor)

Yahoo, like everyone else has an email server to receive messages. Just because they don't let you access it directly for free doesn't mean it's not there.
Part of the reason they don't let you see it is because if they did you would not have to use their web interface. If you look at the web page provided you can see the advertising that someone paid for. If you could use any client to connect directly who would every buy an add?
The HTTP interface is just an interface. Think about it this way. I can use javamail to write several classes that are used to handle email. These classes are the ones that interact with the SMTP/POP3/IMAP servers. I then write some JSP pages and I have an HTTP interface for my email app (I also tell my mail servers to not accept connections from anyone other than the HTTP server that I am running my JSP pages from and have effectively duplicated what you see from Yahoo.) For any of this to work though I need the SMTP/POP3/IMAP servers.
I then decide that I want a stand alone client. I use the same classes to interact with the servers as before, but now write my interface using swing components (and then I forget to take the connection restricition off my servers and waste an hour or two trying to figure out why my client won't connect even though it's sharing the same jar as the HTTP server for connectivity.)
