Hi Pepe,
Thanks for the response.
As you mentioned they have different statuses.
In the status profile they maintained the lower and higher values (1-10) for all the listed.
So, does this impacts the visibility of the drop down?
I thought that, it (high/low) only acts not to allow the user to change the statuses from bottom to top.

Fedor.

    hi lakshmi,
    try the following steps.
    1. give the exit name in SMOD.(J45A0007) go to display mode
    2. click component and take the exit name.(EXIT_SAPMJ45A_009)
    3. here SAPMJ45A is the progam name, so that in SE38 give the progame name click the Where used button and select the transaction and deselect other checkbox.
    4. you will get the transaction code.

  • I want to see the transactions details on a particular time stamp

    Hi,
I want to see all the transactions issued against the database on a particulat time stamp.
Scenario: Every day at 2:40 some delete queries are beign issued against the databse.
I want to see who the user issuing it and which job is triggering the delete queries.
    Please help me on this..
    Regards,
    Ravi

    Hi,
Best way is audit the DB for one day you can know what is happening.
There some other things I would like to ask.
If you are in doubt about some user, try to audit only particular user instead of whole DB.
Second, thing if you think any job is scheduled, try to find the last job run status at that particukar time ran, if the number of jobs in your DB are less then you an go through the list of Schedule jobs which are running and what they are doing. That makes your life easy.
Dig, up the problem part by part same as you eat the food in plate step by step.

  • SAP GUI gets closed when executing the transactions SE38 and SE80

    Hi SAP Gurus,
I am new to this forum and SAP too. I am part of BASIS.
This issue is regarding transactions SE38 and SE80. The system gets closed when trying to open the transactions SE38 and SE80.
I checked the authorizations, it is fine. The copy user works well.
Then found that it may be regarding  SAP GUI.
    For solution, referred: https://scn.sap.com/thread/2099868
    Steps:
          Uninstall the sapgui
Manualluy delete the folders related to them like
             X:\users\YourID\Documents\SAP
             X:\users\YourID\AppData\Local\SAP
             X:\users\YourID\AppData\Roaming\SAP\Common
Re-install using the latest patch available
Even after doing this the issue still persists.
Over here one thing is clear that it is not regarding authorization and all because the copy user works fine. For the system,  administrator credentials are working well but only the person's user ID faces this issue.
Someone please help me out in this regard.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Shiva,
Which GUI Version you are using...Please use latest 7.3 Version to avoid any issues related to GUI logon....
    Can you clarify these doubts...
    1. Are you able to use remaining Tcodes except SE38 and SE80..?
    2. Are you getting  any error before close the session?
    3. If particular user id is facing this issue, then use that credentials and try to check from your end whether you are able to open that tcodes or not..

  • Transaction variant attached to all the transactions

    Hello,
I have created a screen variant in transaction SHD0 and attached it to business transaction.
In the field 'Transaction code' at SHD0, I have entered the value CRMD_ORDER_PA,
After doing so, I have discovered that when I entered to create activity using transaction: CRMD_BUS2000126 all the transactions that exist in our system, gets the screen variant I have crate for a certain transaction, although they are attached to different variants.
However, if I enter the business transaction using transaction: CRMD_ORDER, everything work fine- every transaction gets the variant that belongs to it.
    Thank you very much.
    Ohad.

    hi
you are getting this because of the nature of the t code you are using
CRM_ORDER_PA is basically used for designing the activity
,once you have assigned the variant to the transaction and you try open the transaction using this code then what it will do is design all the activities with the same parameters ,thats why you are having all the transactions with the same variant
but on the other hand crm_order is basic t code to create transaction,it works on the concept of one order framework in CRM,using this creating transaction wont place that much effect on the transaction coz it work independent of the transactions,it is used to create Lead ,activity or say opportunity,so it doesn take into account the variant info while creating transaction
try doing this thing using lead transaction you wont see such thing when you will use CRM_ORDER_PA coz hat works only with activity
    guess i clear ur doubt
    best regards

  • How do I create a new Work Center for the transaction launcher and links

    Hi
The requirement here is for me to find out if I can create a new Work Center that will contain up to 6 assignment blocks and each block having either links to websites and BW reports, or triggers to R/3 applications via the transaction launcher.
Can I do this purely through customising or do I need to create a new view using BSPs? If I can do it through customising please could I have a few pointers to what component I would need to use/copy?
    Regards
    Declan

    Hi Robert,
Thanks again for taking the time to reply.
Just so I understand, if I want to show a work center I need to link it to a component / view? I think this was the original query - do I need a developer to create the view that contains the 6 blocks with their links to reports, transactions and websites? I think when I talk about blocks I mean 1 viewset containing 6 views. There is no SAP standard view that would suit my requirements is there? Even if the work center had 8 views, I can always hide the two views in configuration.
After the developer has created the view, I then reference that component in the target Id in the define logical links section of my work center.
If my understanding is right, then it follows that it is not possible to create a user specific work center without some development.
    Is this correct?
    Cheers
    Declan

  • Error while running a BDC for the Transaction F-02

    Hi,
I'm getting an error <b><i>"Parking not possible during Batch Input"</i></b> while running a BDC for the transaction F-02.
When i click on the error message it displays the message [b<i>]"In Customizing, you can control whether an error message is issued."</b></i>
            How to solve this issue?.
            Waiting for ur replies.........
    Regards
    N.Senthil

    Hi,
When you are doing the recording in SHDB, and in the same screen where the TCODE to be recorded is given, there are options that you can choose called "Recording Parameters"...Select the checkbox which says "Not a Batch Input Session", this will set the sy-binpt variable to " "(in a recording by default it is "X")...and you will not get this error...
Also make sure while writing the BDC program to make use of the "bdc options" parameter which has this property to switch of sy-binpt...
Refer below theard for sample bdc code for f-02.

and similar traces for ContactInfo, CreditCard, Account, Profile, ...
I nevertheless get to the main screen of the Petstore as if everything
worked well. In fact, it seems like the DB got populated somewhat
correctly; only tbe named sequence tables are unchanged (btw: are the
named sequence tables expected to be auto-created with
create-default-dbms-tables enabled?). The strange thing is that every
correct row (in my case having the even IDs) is followd by an all (except the
odd numbered ID field) "NULL" row. This does not happen in all
...EJBTABLEs --- Address and ContactInfo for example are affected, but Profile
              is not.
It seems as if ordering a rattlesnake would work well, even though more
of the same type of Execptions appear in the jdbc log. I suspect that the
trouble will start when the 10 cached ID are exhausted.
I just tried the Petstore 1.3 example provided with WLS 7.0.0.1 on a Linux
machine and WLS 7.0 on an NT machine andfound petty much the same
exception after enabling the jdbc log:

and similar traces for ContactInfo, CreditCard, Account, Profile, ...
I nevertheless get to the main screen of the Petstore as if everything
worked well. In fact, it seems like the DB got populated somewhat
correctly; only tbe named sequence tables are unchanged (btw: are the
named sequences expected to be auto-created with
create-default-dbms-tables enabled ?).
    Any ideas?

I just tried the Petstore 1.3 example provided with WLS 7.0.0.1 and found
petty much the same exception after enabling the jdbc log:
java.sql.SQLException: The transaction is no longer active (status = Committed). No further JDBC access is allowed within this transaction.

  • Application Parameters not working in the Transactional iViews

We had created transactional iViews for calling the standard SAP Transaction: IQS8 and IQS9. Here the issue is that we would like to populate the default screens for these 2 transactions with different set of default values.
So, we created variants and sending them as an application parameter to these trasnactional iViews. When we call this iView it is displaying these default values as per the variant which we are sending. But when executing that transaction, it seems those application parameters that we send through the iView are not being used to call that transaction.
How to enforce the transaction to make it use the application parameters as default values, does any one has any idea?
Please let me know if any one of you have a solution for this.

    Hi Venkat,
You might want to try the following approach:
1- Create a new transaction code in your SAP system (using transaction SE93 - maintain transaction) which would be a transaction variant of the transaction you want to call with a specific variant
2- Create a 'SAP transaction' iview that points to the new transaction code you created (SAP information <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/88/266a3e54a2e946e10000000a114084/frameset.htm">here</a>)
    Hope this helps.

We have a windows server 2008 R2 Virtual machine and we are getting the following Warning Event.
    Event 51 Volmgr
The system failed to flush data to the transaction log.  Corruption may occur.
Any idea what is wrong with this server? Why this event is occurring?

    Hi Jitender KT,
Before going further, would you please let me know the complete error message that you can find (such as a
screenshot if you can provide)? Please check and confirm in Event Viewer if there other related event you can find, such as Event 57 and so on. Meanwhile, can you remember what operations you have done before the warning occurred?
Based on current message that you provided, please run
Chkdsk command to check if you can find error. The issue seems to be related to the storage device. Please refer to the following similar question.

  • Portal Runtime Error while checking the Transaction in Portal

    Hi all,
We r in the phase of setting the configuration of Portal. We did the the template installer but when iam checking the transactions in Portal ( System Administration--> Support--->SAP Apllication) , it is throwing me the following error.
    Portal Runtime Error
An exception occurred while processing a request for :
    iView : N/A
    Component Name : N/A
Missing Property 'ClassName' in property file for layer'Transaction/WinguiSSOLayer'..
See the details for the exception ID in the log file
Can anybody help me in this regard.
    Thank in Advance.

    Hi Niyati,
    I guess check through -->
Under "Personalize > User Profile" the checkbox "Activate Accessibility Feature" must be unchecked!
as, people earlier also faced this issue and SAP provided this solution.
Also an alternative solution for this is like --
    Go to:
    <Drive>\usr\sap\<SID>\JC<Instance No.>\j2ee\cluster\server<Server No.>\apps\sap.com\irj\servlet_jsp\irj\root\WEB-INF\portal\portalapps\com.sap.portal.appintegrator.sap\property\Transaction
and see the content of the 'WebGuiSSOLayer.properties' file.
One of the entries is ''ClassName'. The value on a 'valid' portal is: com.sapportals.portal.sapapplication.itsdetection.ITSDetectionLayer
If it's not the case, then go to:
    <Drive>\usr\sap\<SID>\JC<Instance No.>\j2ee\cluster\server<Server No.>\apps\sap.com\irj\servlet_jsp\irj\root\WEB-INF\deployment\pcd
rename the file 'com.sap.portal.appintegrator.sap.par.bak' to 'com.sap.portal.appintegrator.sap.par' open the par file and edit the file ''WebGuiSSOLayer.properties' (add the relevant entry for ClassName).
Save the file (still with the par extension)
Restart the portal (if everything is OK then the bak extension will be added to the filename).
Just try this, hope it works.
    Reward points if helpful
