Doubt on viewing service message reply from solution manager???

Hi,
How to view the reply(for Service Message) from solution manager in our satillite system? or how to view the reply for our service message? Please share your ideas..

Hello Sriram,
Unfortunately it is not possible to display the replies of the support
desk in any satellite system. There are to ways to inform the creator
the message:
A new action can be defined, so that a mail is sent to the creator, when
e.g. the status of the message changes. You can read in attached note
no. 691303 how to set up an action triggered by status change.
The second possibility is to set up a user in the Solution Manager
system with display authorization, then creator of the message must log
on to the Solution Manager system and can then have his messages
displayed.
At the moment there are no other possibilities for the issue described
by you.
Hope this helps,
Dolores

There is no "message inbox" in satellite systems, but you can use the SAP Solution Manager to have a central access to all reported messages.
Configure Work Center "Incident Management" in SAP Solution Manager and grant access for message reporters.
See answers to similar question in accessing the service desk message from satellite system

  • Archiving/Deleting Test Messages in SAP Solution manager

    Hi,
We have configured Service Desk in our solution manager 7.0 with EHP1 system.
We have created test messages to test the configuration.
We need to delete these test messages which are appearing in T Code CRM_DNO_MONITOR.
We run the report "CRM_ORDER_DELETE" but the output is
    Deletion of CRM Documents
The following document could not be deleted:                 8000000259
Not possible to delete, a reference exists to a subsequent document
    Number of documents deleted:                                          0
Number of documents not deleted:                                      1
    So
We have followed the "Note 1329247 - Archiving Solution Manager Service Desk messages".
    1)
a)Call transaction DNOTIFWL and set the deletion flag for the Service Desk message. The deletion flag corresponds to the system status I1076 (deletion flag).
    b) Execute the report Z_DELETE_BASIC_NOTIFICATIONS
The above step we have executed successfully.
    2)
    In CRM
You cannot delete a service process in CRM. The service process must be archived.
Call transaction SARA and select the archiving object CRM_SERORD. Archiving involves three steps:
    a) Initial run     Report CRM_ARC_SERORD_CHECK
    b) Write run       Report CRM_ARC_SERORD_SAVE
    c) Delete run     Report CRM_ARC_SERORD_DELETE
in SARA T Code we have typed  archiving object CRM_SERORD.
After this what to do??? How to proceed further.
Can any body suggest us the step by step procedure to archive these test messages.
    Regards,
    Raj

You need to schedule a BGD job to execute this. You can do this from the SARA screen itself, clicking on the 'Job' button. Please refer:

  • Business Process Procedure from SOlution Manager

    Hello Gurus,
I am working on technical upgradation from 4.7 E to ECC 6.0. We will have to create Business Process Procedures for each module. Could you please tell me how we need to extract the BPPS from solution manager.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Pavan P.

    Hi Pavan,
The way to extract from BPS may be a long drawn one. The shorter way is to attempt the following:
Go to http://service.sap.com/solutionmanager, supply your OSS ID and password.
    a) On the left hand panel, go to SAP Solution Manager in Detail -> Implementation -> Implementation Content
    OR
    b) Downloads -> view screen on the right hand side and then click on "overview of the current implementation content".
I'll try to figure out any other way and get back to you.
    Best regards,
    Srini

    Solution manager version is 7.0 , on windows 2003 & oracle 10.2.0.2.0.
I am able create messages in our satilite systems . And sending to solution manager also.
Here issue is , when I click on send button in created message box , then our satilite system will asking password of basis user , which is present in solution manager. If I entered that password then It shows successfully send message with number.
I want's to skip the screen , where it's asking the basis user ,password.
So please give me solution , If you come across this problem.
    Thanks  in advance,

    Hello Raj,
see SAP Note [153743|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/153743] chapter "In the R/3 system of the notifier (customer data entry systems).". Changing that RFC destination should be the solution for your case.

  • Error message in "Check Solution Manager"

I'm running SolMan EHP1 SP6. The BI repository and Solution Manager are running on the same box. The BI repository is loaded in client 001. The System SID is PS4.
I'm performing the "Diagnostic Self Check" in Root Cause Analysis. When I select the "Check Solution Manager" button I'm getting an error message
Text = BI Setup check 'MYSELF_DEST' failed - Reason: ;Incorrect client 300; use BI client 001
Action = The CCMSBISETUP job was not completed successfully. Please run CCMSBISETUP again from the transaction solman_admin and/or adjust the corresponding BI objects in RSA1 if necessary.
In RSA1 the source system is defined as PS4CLNT001. So I'm not sure what the problem is.
It is my understanding that I can configure CCMSBISETUP in solman_workcenter by selecting "System Monitoring", then Setup, then Configure IT Performance Reporting. When I do this the default value for RFC destination from Solution Manager to BI: is set to NONE
The system requires and entry for the RFC destination from BI to Solution Manager - Does anybody know what RFC destination belongs here?

    Hi,
The CCMSBISETUP job was not completed successfully. Please run
CCMSBISETUP again from the transaction solman_admin and/or adjust the
corresponding BI objects in RSA1 if necessary.
Alternatively, please perform again Initial and Basic configuration
for SolMan by running transaction solman_setup. This should solve the
    issue.
Notice that you must have the latest version (13) of SAP Note 1405878
applied in the solution manager system.
    Hope this helps.
    Cheers
    SH

  • How to monitor system from SOLUTION MANAGER?

    Hi,
How do I monitor systems and send alerts from solution manager?
    Thanks,

    Hi Afi C
There are two types of monitoring in Solution Manager.
    1. System Monitoring.
    2. Business Process Monitoring.
1st one monitor system performance and 2nd one monitor specific jobs or transactions related to important business step based on the configuration.
If you have access to the service market place, you can some information related to above topics.
    1. Quick link monitoring.  www.service.sap.com/monitoring
       ==>Media library
    2. Quick link BPM. www.service.sap.com/bpm
==>Media library (Under the technical information, Setup guide business process
monitoring is goods one !). Same as business process monitoring, you can
setup system monitoring from t-cd DSWP.

  • SSO from Solution Manager to Wily Enterprise Manager issue

    Hi,
We are facing problem in SSO from Solution Manager to Wily Enterprise Manager. We have done the configuration as per the Wily Enterprise Guide- "Introscope Version 8 Installation Guide For SAP" Page 38.
Our Solution Manager system is running on AIX platform and Wily Enterprise Manager is on Windows 2008.
This is what we are trying
SOLMAN Production Client --> SOLMAN_WORKCENTER --> INTROSCOPE WORKSTATION --> this opens a new browser page and from there we click on Start Introscope -->
Result --> SSO doesn't work, still we get login window.
Introscope Enterprise Manager logs says -->
9/12/11 10:47:17 PM BST [WARN] [Manager] Single sign on failed: No SAP single sign on ticket was found in the request header.
Note: Another Solution Manager system in our landscape (on windows 2008 platform) is connected to same Wily Enterprise Manager (windows 2008) and from this solution manager SSO to Wily Enterprise Manager is working.
Please help me with your expertise to solve this problem.
    Best Regards

    Hello Singh,
Could you check if you have maintained these parameters in instacne profile ?
    From SCN post -> http://scn.sap.com/thread/969538
    Hi Hector,
To configure SSO as per initial setup guide, please check your profile parameters in your Solution Manager as below:
You have set up SSO, see also:
SAP Note 817529: Checking the SSO Configuration
Installation Guide and Security Guide for SAP Solution Manager
Create the following profile parameters in the instance profile:
    login/create_sso2_ticket = 2
    login/accept_sso2_ticket = 1
icm/host_name_full = fully qualified server name
This parameter must be attributed to the fully qualified server name (for example wdfd002568.wdf.sap). The name must contain at least two periods. See also SAP Note 434918.
    Hope this helps,
