Doubt with  Performace mapping in RWB

Im making a performance documento for each interface.
but i cant understand whats meaning of Consolidated Data.
i could see if Consolidated Data is checked the result is diferent that it s not. so i decided look at SAP help. i found an explanation about its, but still it is no clear.
Sorry my poor english
thanks & regards

  • Doubt with Java Mapping

    I have an interface that got a Java Mapping. This interface is from a non-sap system to SAP (xml to Idoc).
    I have to change some stupid thing in the mapping, but the problem is that I dont know how can I do this.
    I go to Mapping Objects\Imported Archives and I Export all files (lot of files) that I found in there. I gave them to a guy that knows about Java, and he said me that al those are class librarys, and there is no code in there so we can change it.
    I cant do anything in message mapping because there is no mapping in there, and someone ask me if I can do something in BPM so we can do a simple mapping thing, but I think this is impossible (dont know why)
    Maybe theres ir another way so I can get the original Java code to change the mapping.
    Who can help me?

    Hi Claudio
    As suggested above you can use another mapping program that can change the target message generated by Java mapping you have into the target message you need.
    To add more mappings you need to add them in Interface mapping in a sequence.
    Moreover if you have only class files download a decompiler and decompile your java class to get the code
    Hope this helps
    Thanks

  • Doubt in Multi mapping

    Hi
    Suppose i want 1:2 transformation. Both the destinations are of the same type. (say two database tables have to be updated int he receiver end, )
    1. I can create one business service with two receiver interfaces. And go for multimapping.
    or
    2. I can create 2 separate business services for the two target interfaces and proceed in the usual way.
    I would like to know when to go for multi mapping in terms of configuration.

    Hi Aarti,
    You can go through these two blogs for clearing doubts on Multi mapping

  • Alerts for SXMB_MONI mapping errors, RWB errors

    Hi,
    We are having solman 7.0 with EHP1/oracle on HP-UX.
    I have to configure CCMS alerts for SXMB_MONI mapping errors, RWB errors for PI system(SAP EHP 1 for SAP NetWeaver 7.1).
    I cant find any MTE related to  SXMB_MONI mapping errors or RWB errors under the PI system in my CEN.
    So, can anyone please guide me to configure this?
    Thanks
    Nanda

    Hello Nanda,
    you have to configure ALert Categories in the Alert Framework (ALM) before any MTE are shown in CCMS. And then you would see the MTE in the local CCMS of your PI system.
    Configuration steps are descirbed in the PDF "Setup Guide for Interface Monitoring" under http://service.sap.com/bpm > Media Library > Technical Information. In thisdocument you can also learn how the CCMS MTEs can be integrated with Business Process Monitoring in SAP Solution Manager. And actually BPMon provides some new monitoring capabilites for the Java part of PI that are not covered via CCMS at all.

  • Funny problem with the mapping

    Dear All,
    I am facing with a funny problem with the mapping.
    I am working on a scenario in which Invoice IDOC created in R/3 will be posted to XI and then in XI, mapping are done to create an XML file out of that IDOC.
    In the Idoc, there is a segment E1EDKA1 which is getting created multiple times for different partners alongwith their details. The fields in E1EDKA1 segment are: PARVW,PARTN LIFNR etc.
    In the output I just want LIFNR number where PARVW = RE or RS.
    I have done the required mapping and when I am testing the mapping its giving me the required results correctly but when I make this scenario live then in real-time, the output XML file has no value for LIFNR.
    Can anybody guide me out why is it happening tht during mapping testing its giving the correct result but at real time the mapping is returing no value.
    Warm Regards,
    N.Jain

    Hi Nishant,
    Are you sure the test data which you are using while testing the mapping in IR and the one which comes when you test real time is the same?
    The data which comes real time. Copy the source payload and then test in mapping. See if you get the right data which you expect. If you do then theres some problem.
    Now also go to the same message and in trace you can find out the GUID of the mapping program which is used.
    Go to RWB - Last button..not sure what the name is .. something similar to Cache.. Find your mapping program and see if the GUID Matches. If the GUID matches then it is okay.
    Also try to do the following..
    Reactive the MM/IM.
    Go to ID. Make some dummy change in Interface determination and then activate it.
    Check the cache notification to make sure if the cache is updated.
    If the above doesnt help you let us know.
    Regards,
    Sumit

  • Issue with heat maps refresh process in EID 3.1?

    Issue with Heat Maps in EID 3.1? Heats maps don't refresh unless you go back to home page and then again go back to the Endeca app.
    In Oracle Sample app if we open the Map tab we will see that Milwaukee is really hot in the heat map. now if we filter the data to just show data from 100 miles within Orlando, FL then the map will get refreshed to show that area but the colors on heat maps do not change.
    Now if we keep the refinements same and go back to home page and again go back to sample app and maps tabs then it will still show area of 100 miles within Orlando, FL which is good but now heat map would have updated and it would show us correct color.
    Now if we remove the refinement then it would show complete US map as hot which is again wrong.
    I have observed this issue in chrome browser as well as firefox.
    Is there anyway to overcome this issue?

    This issue was resolved after applying latest patch from Oracle.

  • IPad 2 wi-fi with iOS maps turn by turn?

    I have iPad 2 wi-fi. If I buy a gps receiver such as the Dual XGPS150a, will I be able to use turn by turn navigation with Apple iOS 6 maps, or will i need to buy an app such as Navigon with preloaded maps?
    I guess my 2 questions are:
    1) Do I need data access as well as GPS to use Apple Maps in iOS 6, or do I just need GPS?
    2) Is the Maps software different for wi-fi only iPads vs. those with cellular capability? i.e. if I was connected to wifi and had a bluetooth GPS receiver, could I even then use the Maps software on iPad 2 wi-fi?
    I guess I could use my phone as a wireless hotspot and buy a gps receiver to use my iPad for GPS, but if that's the case, I could just use my phone....
    I'm just curious of the capability.  Thanks!

    I have a dual GPS receiver that I frequently use with my iOS devices.  Unfortunately, the Maps application on my WiFi iPad doesn't have any of the GPS functionality, even when the Dual GPS is paired.  It seems that Apple chose not to include the functionality, as I am able to use my external GPS with the maps turn-by-turn navigation on my iPhone without issue.
    This is very disappointing

  • Should we avoid Graphical mapping and stick with Java mapping?

    After developing mappings in XI for a month, I just don't see any good reasons to use Graphical mappings over Java mappings. Maybe some experienced users here can give me some valid reasons why we should choose Graphical mappings. Here is what I think:
    Disadvantages of Graphical mappings:
    1. No way to perform automated unit testings. This is probably the biggest reason I hate it. You can do some tests manually when you work in Integration Builder. But there is no way you can write some unit testing utilities to automate the task.
    2. Complexity. Even for some simple requirements, your Graphical mappings can become complicated and hard to understand. A lot of times, I find myself staring at several dozens of graphical nodes and try to understand what it does.
    3. Impossible to reuse. This is totally against the DRY (Don't repeat yourself) principle. For example, to generate messages for JDBC adapter, it is common to have two identical fields for primary keys: one in the access node and another in the key node. If you change the mapping logic in one, you have to remember to change the other.
    Advantage with Java mappings:
    1. Fully automated unit testing. You can create JUnit tests along with your Java mapping classes and use Maven or other build tools to perform automated unit testing.
    2. Your choice of XML parsing and binding. With Java mapping, you can choose any open source framework for XML parsing and binding. For example, with XMLBeans, I can convert XML input message to a Java object, transform to another Java object and write to output message. And each Java object is generated from its corresponding XML schema.
    3. Highly reusable. We can use fundamental object-oriented designs to create highly reusable mapping components.
    4. Better version control. Since the mappings are just Java classes, we can use CVS or SVN to track code changes.
    5. Better build tools. We can fully utilize build tools like Ant and Maven to automate the build, unit tests, or even generate documents and mapping web sites.
    So do you guys agree? Maybe I am still new to XI or I am missing some important things. But at this point, I just don't see why I should use Graphical mappings. Is there anyone developing XI interfaces completely with Java mappings?
    Thanks in advance for any comments!
    Kenny Cheang

    Hi Suraj,
    > Since its graphical the blocks will take space, but
    > there is always an adavntage of processing time.
    > Ebven though it may appear bigger, it will take less
    > time as compared with Java code (for the same
    > mapping).
    Could you explain more why the graphical mapping has better performance? I thought the graphical mapping is compiled into a Java class in the runtime anyway.
    > Yes thats there, but same goes with Java mapping too
    > right (if you haven't mentioned it as constants)
    I mainly think about inheritance. If I have to build 10 interfaces and they all have some common behavior, I can create a base interface class to encapsulate the common logic. But with graphical mapping, you have to duplicate them in each interface.
    > Disadvantages of Java mapping:
    > 1. Performance
    Same as above. I just don't see why Java has worse performance. I actually think Java should have better performance. You can optimize the code anyway you want. In some cases, you have to use queue functions in graphical mapping but it's not necessary in Java.
    > 2. All might not be well versed with Java Code(though
    > everyone may know basic java) .
    I am not asking everyone to abandon graphical mapping. I am just wondering which one is better when you have skills for both.
    > 3. Lot of standard functions are available in GM
    > which you can choose, but you have to remember the
    > exact code for those in Java mapping.
    You can create functions in Java too. All you have to do is to remember the function name.

    my location services is already on as well as with my facebook apps, but still i am unable to check in. what's wrong? even with my maps, it always say location unavailable. help please.

    - The iPod uses the location of a nerby or connected router to determine it location based on a database of routers and their location. It appears that the routers near y are not in Appl'es database.  As of yet, nobody here seems to know how to get routers added to the database.
    - If you go to Strtbucks. McDonalds or another networks does the location show in the Maps app?

  • When they un-upgrade iPhoto email templates? Along with Apple Maps, another software I won't use anymore.

    When they un-upgrade iPhoto email templates? Along with Apple Maps, another software I won't use anymore.

    You can go back by restoreing your backup of the iPhoto library from the previous version a installing the previous version for its original source
    Of course I use iPhoto - and I have not idea what
    Do you use iPhoto? What version are you using and have you sent photos using it from the iPhoto and used the older templates?
    means
    one last time if you want help you have to start by being percise and shaing information - for example "older version" is of no help since there are 40 or 50 older versions
    again
    Sorry but if you have a question then you need to provide information  - what are you talking about? What version of iPhoto and what OS version do you have? What upgrade are you talking about? what e-mail client are you using?

  • Question about Logon ticket with user mapping at BI-JAVA environment

    We're implementing BI 7.0 including BI Java and SAP EP for end user
    access.
    I have two question about SSO method when we're using BI Java.
    I know we can simply configure SSO logon ticket with BI-Java(EP
    included) and BI-ABAP through BI template installer and we already
    succeeded in that case.
    But the problem is we want to change it to user mapping SSO method for
    some our internal reason.
    After we configure user mapping SSO, we've got SSO failed error when we
    call BI-Java stuff like BEx Web Application iView.
    After many testing implemented, we found SSO Logon ticket with user
    mapping (using SAP reference system). It seems working now.
    But our question is "Is it no problem when we use SSO logon ticket with
    user mapping?" Is there any restriction or issue?
    One more question is we can ONLY use user base mapping when reference
    system used. How can we assign BI-ABAP users to EP Group?

    Using an SAP Reference system is allright. But if the reason u r going for this is because of different usernames in EP and BI, why dont you go for user mapping.
    Anyways, on restriction of reference syetms is that you can have ONLY ONE reference system defined in portal. In you case you can only have the BI system defined.
    Hope this helps!!

  • Problem about SSO using logon ticket  with user mapping

    Hi everyone ,
    I had done SSO with Portal , BW and R/3 system.
    I use logon ticket with user mapping .
    When user name is same in Portal as in R/3 system, or user name is same in Portal as in BW , user can access R/3 transactions and BW report without logon.
    There are some Portal users name which are different with R/3 user and  BW user. And I done the user mapping for these  user.
    But some user mapping works fine,but most of them can't work,means that most of them need to enter mapped user ID and password.
    What's the reason?
    When SSO using logon ticket with user mapping, the Portal user which is different with R/3 user and BW user,  can they access R/3 transaction iview and BW report iview without logon?

    Hi Chen,
    What you have done is correct. But the problem lies here.
    Since you are using the same system object for accessing the iview, where the ticket method is set to SAPLOGONTICKET in the user Management property of the system object.
    To avoid this create another system object like the previous one but set the logon method to UIDPW and select admin, user from the drop down box. Also create a system alias for this system.
    Now create another iview like the previous one but link this iview to the new system. Now do the user mapping for the users which are different in portal compared with R/3. Now you should be able to login without any problems.
    Another important point is login to portal with Fully qualified domain name. In the ITS property of the system object also give the FQDN.
    Hope this helps

  • Problem with Java Mapping

    Hello experts,
    I developed a Java Mapping Programm for reading filename of a pdf file and giving filename to a rfc structure for calling a rfc module. Thus, I test it via testing interface method and implementing a main method in my mapping class, which works, but if I run it in the integration server  I get the following exception:
    MP: Exception caused of com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.RecoverableException: java.lang.StringIndexOutOfBoundsException: String index out of range: -7: com.sap.aii.af.rfc.afcommunication.RfcAFWException: java.lang.StringIndexOutOfBoundsException: String index out of range: -7
    That is the execute method of my class:
         public void execute(InputStream inputStream, OutputStream outputStream)
              throws StreamTransformationException {
              // TODO Auto-generated method stub
              try { //The following is for the FileName in the File Adapter
                   DynamicConfiguration dynamicconfiguration =
                        (DynamicConfiguration) map.get("DynamicConfiguration");
                   DynamicConfigurationKey key =
                        DynamicConfigurationKey.create(
                             "http://sap.com/xi/XI/System/File",
                             "FileName");
                   String myFileName = dynamicconfiguration.get(key);
                   MappingTrace trace = null;
                   trace.addInfo(myFileName);
                   DocumentBuilderFactory dbf = DocumentBuilderFactory.newInstance();
                   DocumentBuilder db = dbf.newDocumentBuilder();
                   TransformerFactory tf = TransformerFactory.newInstance();
                   Transformer transform = tf.newTransformer();
                   Document docout = db.newDocument();
                   Element root = docout.createElement("Z_SD_WEB_HP_INVOICE_STATUS");
                   root.setAttribute(
                        "xmlns:ns1",
                        "urn:sap-com:document:sap:rfc:functions");
                   docout.appendChild(root);
                   Element docName = docout.createElement("IM_DOCNAME");
                   root.appendChild(docName);
                   Text srcxml = docout.createTextNode(myFileName);
                   docName.appendChild(srcxml);
                   DOMSource domS = new DOMSource(docout);
                   transform.transform((domS), new StreamResult(outputStream));
              } catch (Throwable throwable) {
                   throwable.printStackTrace();
    If I test via main method and testing interface mapping  the generated xml is like:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="no"?><Z_SD_WEB_HP_INVOICE_STATUS xmlns:ns1="urn:sap-com:document:sap:rfc:functions"><IM_DOCNAME>232132.pdf</IM_DOCNAME></Z_SD_WEB_HP_INVOICE_STATUS>
    I do not understand why I get this error in real environment.
    Kind regards,
    Erkan

    Hello experts,
    I found the solution. I will also publish this solution, this is also a point which I sometimes missing here in this forum:
    In creating the rfc-xml with java mapping, so a prefix should be add to the name of the rfc-structure e.g.
    ns1:Z_RFC_CALL. If this prefix is missing, then you get this error:
    com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.RecoverableException: java.lang.StringIndexOutOfBoundsException: String index out of range: -7: com.sap.aii.af.rfc.afcommunication.RfcAFWException: java.lang.StringIndexOutOfBoundsException: String index out of range: -7
    To find this I create a grafical test mapping and I check the test rfc-xml with the java created xml.
    Anyway thanks all for the published recommendations.
    Kind regards,
    Erkan

  • Pass through scenario in SAP PI with no mapping for File to IDoc and Idoc to file scenarios

    Hi Experts,
    Can i have step by step process in SAP PI for pass through scenario with no mapping in case of file to Idoc and Idoc to file both cases please.
    What objects i can skip.
    My PI system is 7.3 dual stack.
    I have seen below blogs, still its confusing to me.
    When and how to create an scenario in SAP PI without mapping objects.
    Pass Through Scenario with no Mapping in PI 7.1
    Appreciate your help on this.
    Regards,
    Mohan.

    Hi Mohan
    In pass thru interface you don't need to create any ESR objects, only ID objects are required.
    Just Create a Receiver Determination and Receiver Agreement for your scenario (no need for Interface Det. and Sender Agreement).
    Specify the IDOC in the Sender Interface and namespace as urn:sap-com:document:sap:idoc:messages
    Or instead of creating objects manually, Run the wizard with Idoc name/namespace in sender/receiver interface

    Osman
