Doubts about PO Automation - ways to create po automatic?

as far as I know, we here just can create a PO automatic if I have an approved contract and an approved outiline agreement.
with the outline agreement approved we insert it in the approved purchase requisition and the Purchase Order is created automatically.
I need to know if is posible to create PO automatically without an outiline agreement (contract), in other words, We wouldn't want to create mannually POs

Hi,
Goto NACE. Select EF and click on Condition record. It will give you list of output types.
Select your output type and click condition record.
You will see the various combinations. Select on of the combination and enter.
Then maintain parameter values and execute. Here you need to maintain the required values of function (VN), medium, lang & then click on 'Communication' tab. Tip in all values there.
Now you will get output type at the time of PO creation.

Automated Way of Creating VPN Services in Snow Leopard?

I'm looking for a way to have a file/script that can be executed by a user to create a VPN Service for connection to our Cisco VPN server at work. Our IT department believes that by not passing out the Shared Secret (in plaintext), they are increasing security. I don't follow the "Security By Obscurity" principal, especially in this case, but they make the rules, so I need to try and follow them.
When using the Cisco VPN client, the Mac users can load pre-defined profiles which are exactly the same as the profiles the Windows users use. The files that configure the Profile have the shared secret encrypted in their body.
Just curious if there is any way to automatically run through this CPN Service creation process. I created a timestamp file on my HD, created a VPN service, then searched for files newer than the timestamp to see what was modified. The only file that looked like it had any promise was /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/preferences.plist, but I don't really want to go mucking with that file. I'd much rather just argue with the IT department about why not distributing this information isn't helping them out at al.

I don't understand - when you take some file that already exist on the hard disk and modify it, your script is acting on a file. If the "Service receives selected _files or folders_ in Finder", then your service will be available in the contextual *Services Menu* when you right-click on files or folders, and those selected items will be passed to your workflow.
It sounds like you may not want a service - you can make a script available when the Finder is active by using the *Script Menu* (AppleScript Editor > Preferences > General) and placing your script (or an alias) it in the ~/Library/Scripts/Applications/Finder folder. You can't use a keyboard shortcut with the Script Menu though, so you might take a look at FastScripts, which uses the same script locations but adds keyboard shortcuts.
You can also drag a script application onto the Finder's toolbar.

Doubt about using automation testing in mtm and vs 2012

Ive a doubt in using mtm and vs 2012. I wanna test a software by automation method
1) whether i should record the steps in visual studio and attach the recorded file to mtm and test
or
2) can i record the script(steps) in mtm and run the automation testing in mtm, if you say yes what are the step.
Plz help me out for both 1 and 2 by tell the steps.

It is based on the detail requirement to choose them.
Do Coded UI test in visual studio 2012, we could record the action and playback, link tests to test case that in MTM, we also could base on the detail requirement to modify the code.
Do manual or automated test in MTM 2012, we also could record the action and playback, but can’t modify the code (need do it in vs), we could do automated tests in lab environment

Is there an easier/more-automated way to create user settings in Profile Manager?

I'm setting up a Mavericks Server and am setting up the settings for each user within the Profile Manager. I'm finding somewhat tedious to have to enter all of the server and account information per service per user. Seeing that it knows the details of the server it's running on – and the user for whom I'm setting up the profiles, is there no automatic way to produce a settings bundle for each user? At the very least, the server hostname and username should be prefilled.

What settings are you setting in the profiles? You can set a general setting that is available to all users, and also create various device configurations and add devices to them. I personally have not found much use for user specific profiles within profile management.

I'm a little bit confused about the right way to create unique objects ids, a way not depend on a database.
There seems to be several approaches to do this:
1.The class java.rmi.dcg.VMID states: 'A VMID is a identifier that is unique across all Java virtual machines.
It generate a uuid which can be convertet to a String.
2.The class net.jini.id.Uuid states: 'A 128-bit value to serve as a universally unique identifier. Two Uuids are equal if they have the same 128-bit value. Uuid instances can be created using the static methods of the UuidFactory class.
3.The W3C org seems to have a guid generation.
4.If you search the internet you will find several other implementations, like www.doomdark.org/doomdark/proj/jug/

Generating a true UUID is by nature plaform dependent, and should IMHO be implemented by the JRE/language libraries. Native code that is not a part of the JRE is always a problem, especially in J2EE environment. In addition, true uuids are useful in very many programming situations. If you create the folders as a child within the main pictures folder, then they will show up in the app separately. I have many folders with pictures in.
You will need to move the photos manually - they will automatically go in the Camera folder.

Best way to create a library of PL/SQL to be used by many schemas

I looking for the best way to build a library of PL/SQL packages that can be used from multiple schemas in my DB. The way we use our DB is that we create a new schema for each client and then create tables, import data and do a bunch of validation. So I'm trying to build a library of code that will automate some of this.
The way I've gone about it so far is to create a "master" schema to house the code which I then invoke while passing the name of the schema I want it to operate on. The problem is that the master schema must have permission to create/alter/drop tables in the other schema. In my environment I have to go through a lengthy request process to get permission granted.
So I'm wondering if there's a better way of creating a centralized library of PL/SQL that can be invoked from multiple schemas in such a way that it acts upon the tables contained in the invoking schema?

That's a good point, Justin - thanks for the advice. At the moment, our process of data validation isn't very well defined, so the table definitions aren't always the same beyond a core set. As we get more automated and able to develop table definitions flexible enough to accomodate all the quirks in client data, I may be able to consider moving to a single schema to take advantage of maintenance and performance improvements. My ultimate concern with doing that is that the datasets we're dealing with can be tens of millions of rows in size. Clearly, I'm no DBA, but I just assumed that we would be able to churn through these datasets faster if they were in a schema by themselves rather than lumped together into one huge half-a-billion row table?

Need help knowing best way to create record

What is the best way to create a new record... I have a form pulling info from about 20 tables. When the user wants to create a new record, I want a new form to open and allow them to select the values based on the foreign key fields so it makes more sense than just random numbers.
The problem I'm having is knowing when and how to insert. Should the "new record" form be it's own database block that inserts from within it. (but then when they go back to the original form they must requery to see the new value.) Or what about copying each field back to the original form. I'm new to forms and would appreciate any insight and tips.

Doubts about use of REPORTS_SERVERMAP with Forms11g HA

Hi,
I'm configuring a Linux 64bits Forms/Reports 11g HA environment, the point is that i have two nodes, each one with its Forms and Reports servers, let's say FormsA and ReportsA for the first node and FormsB and ReportsB for the seconde node.
i want FormsA to be able to call reports from ReportsB and FormsB to be able to call reports from ReportsA.
I've been reading about REPORT_SERVERMAP

But i have some doubts about its use:
1. I will not use a shared cluster file system or any way of cache solution, i will only have my rdf files on each node, and i'm wondering if just by configuring this parameter i will be able to get the effect mentioned above ??
2. The link provided says "Using RUN_REPORT_OBJECT. If the call specifies a Reports Server cluster name instead of a Reports Server name, the REPORTS_SERVERMAP environment variable must be set in the Oracle Forms Services default.env file"
In fact i'm using RUN_REPORT_OBJECT but
what is the Reports Server cluster name ?? and where do i find that name ??
3. Is this configuration well defined:
REPORTS_SERVERMAP=clusterReports:ReportsA;clusterReports:ReportsB
4. At forms applications when using RUN_REPORT_OBJECT, can i assume that the report server name will be the cluster name specified at the REPORTS_SERVERMAP ??
5. Which files should i modify rwservlet.properties or default.env ??

Suppose Run_report_object executed jobs successfully to ReportsA
But web.show_document command for getjobid failed ( as ReportsA went down by this time)
--> You will not get the output shown ( though job was successful)
If shared cache was enabled, then Even if ReportsA is down, other cluster member ( say ReportsB)
will respond back to web.show_document.
Point 2,
--> Under HA is it highly recommended to use web.show_document ( a servlet call) to execute reports. This is to help use all HA features at the HTTP , Webcache or load balancer level.
However if there is migrated code or Run_report_object is must, then the recommendations as you see in the pointed document is must.
REPORTS_SERVERMAP setting needs to be configured in rwservlet.properties file and also in default.env Forms configuration file to map the Reports Server cluster name to the Reports Server running on the mid-tier where the Load Balancer forwarded the report request.
For example FormsA, ReportsA, cluster name say rep_cluster
default.env file
REPORTS_SERVERMAP=rep_cluster:ReportsA
Where "rep_cluster" is the Reports Server cluster name and "ReportsA" is the name of the Reports Server running on the same machine as FormsA

I have a doubt about preferred or available service.
I have a Oracle RAC with 3 nodes.
I created a service GL, but I didn't setup available instance, only preferred instances with 2 instances (PROD1,PROD2)
srvctl add service -d PROD -s GL -r PROD1,PROD2
My doubt is:
If PROD1 instance dies, I would like to know if rac01 is restored automatically on rac02.
Anybody can help me?

     I have been many doubts about diference between sapconsole and sapmobile, if anyone could help me I appreciate.
1) I have ECC6 instaled, the SAP Mobile is compatible with ECC6 or I need of Netweaver Instaled ?
2) If Possible to Install Sap Mobile in ECC6 , I have to Buy a license of sap mobile ?
3) in any product instaled Windows CE have possible to install sap mobile ?
4) In sap console what is the requirement for to do this configuration?

    The Basic Diference beteween SAPConsole and SAPMobile is :
SAPConsole ==>
1 ) Don' t need a new Hardaware for to configurate
2 ) Only need a Machine with the IIS service installed
3 ) The SAPGui CD content the SAPCOnsole.exe for configuration
4 ) The equipment like Pocket and datacolletor has been to configurated in a Network( but if to have a entrance in the SAPGUi indicate a SAProuter in another factory is possible to have acesses.. ) is a mandatory. Cause the SAPCOnsle folow the SAPGUI entrances and need a LAN or a WAN configurated.
Advantage
simple to congurated and chip.
Easy to create to new window cause the SAPConsole only plubish this window in Browser.
Disadvantage
Need a lincense for each Poket or Datacolletor, wherever the equipment you will use.
Doesn't have a Database using through Browser (IE6 or IE7) this way , during the processes lost network you go to lost the information not saved.
SAPMobile
1 ) Need the a good Machine with a instance of SAP configurate
2 ) Have to found the EXE in the MarketPlace
3 ) is not publish, and yes a client with the database configurate in equipment

Advantage
Need only one SAP License, doesn't metter how many equipment in use you have.
As the SAPMobile has a Database in the client , if you lost the network it goes to save in the local database and when the network come back , it will to synchronize. This way you don't need to work online every moment, you get to synchronize after.
Disadvantage
You profit in license is your lost in the Machine cause the price of Machine is expensive.
is configurate only in windows Mobile.
The window only can be create for a Developement and not in the SAP, have been created in windows Mobile.
A tip, the both is good but you can do a simple mathematics.
In the SAPConsole how much money you go to spend is the least of the Machine s Price.
If yes confurate the SAPConsole , if not configurate the SAPMobile

I want to know about the automation of "Adjust Transport Queue".
Concretly, I want to copy Transport Data&cofiles
from Transport Domain Controler(DEV) to PRD System.

QAS -- Location A
PRD -- Location B ** different Location from Domain Controler **
Therefore when I execute Transport to PRD,
"Adjust Transport Queue " is necessary to do.
I know the JOB to refresh Transport List,
but I don't know the JOB to Modify transport Queue.
If you know it , please tell me the way.

How did you specific the file path in InvokeProcess activity? Where you stored this batch file, under a local path in your build agent machine?
As the TFS Build will running on build agent machine, so you can create the batch file under a local path in your build agent machine, for example C:\BAT\test.bat, then specific in this “C:\BAT\test.bat” as the

Each TFS build’s drop location copied from binaries folder, you can find the binaries folder from

is there a way to create a collection based on the "previous import"? that would make it easy to mobile sync the last import to my ipad, and do further picking/rejecting while away from my laptop.

well, yes, of course i could do it that way. i guess i wasn't specific enough. is there a way to create a smart collection, with the photos in the "previous import" as members of the smart collection. earlier i mentioned about using this smart collection to mobile sync with my ipad, to do further flagging.
so my intention, use a smart collection to mobile sync with my ipad, and the smart collection to include the photos from my previous import.
i guess another way to ask the question, is there a way to create a smart collection, by using some rule or condition in the smart collection, to automatically include previous import photos.
the documentation says that "previous import" is a collection, even though it shows up in the catalogue side bar section. but i see no way to choose that collection when making a smart collection.

Ive been using the disjoint rollover, but I only have one
thing that I want to add to it—a caption right underneath an
image.
Besides using that Project Seven plug-in, is there a way to
create an image gallery without using layers? Or is layers the only
way to do it? All I want (words of doom, huh?) is a thumbnail to be
able to switch and image and add a caption to it. Can anyone point
me in the right direction? Or is that Project Seven plug-in deal my
best bet? What about Set Text of Layer in DW.
Oh yeah, Im still using DW with CSS sprinkled in..any help?

Of course.

That would do it, and it's not necessary that the layer stay
a layer after
you have done it, either. I do this frequently - make a
layer, apply the
behavior, and then remove the position:absolute from the div,
and place it
where I want it.

the old apps are on my computer but they have had upgrades since they were put on the ipod originally. you think you would get a warning about this when you restored. I was not worried about losing the progress of the apps but i would have been worried about the app it self!!!!!
