Doubts on Campaign features in C4C

Dear All,
I am trying to set up the Campaign management scenario. However, I am confused with the features of Campaigns in C4C since I could not find any detailed information for the same.
I have created a Target Group, Email template for email campaign and Campaign with status "Planned".
1. Can we assign Survey to a Campaign and how to capture the response from the same?
2. How to set up the system for email bounces? What are the settings required for notifications to appear when an email bounce happens?
3. I have created a Response Option with category "Positive" but I am not sure how to use this in Campaign and what is the use of it, please explain.
4. Can we set up Campaign Automation in C4C like SAP CRM 7.0? Please explain.

Search Campaign in the Help Center and you will get the below information on the Help Link for Campaign.
This will explain how you will add the Survey in E-mail Template and send the campaign.
E-mail template must be designed to capture the Survey using the place holder /FormCampaignExecutionPlaceholder/Survey/SurveyID
With the placeholders /FormCampaignExecutionPlaceholder/MailingPermissionDenyMailToURI or /FormCampaignExecutionPlaceholder/SubscriptionLink/SubscriptionURI in the template the recipient can indicate to be removed from future mailings by either simply unsubscribe by e-mail or on an external landing page.

Query on CRM Campaign Determination in ECC

Hi Friends,
Can anyone help me with a doubt on campaign determination in ECC?
My query is 'what happens during campaign determination in SAP ECC Sales Orders, if we have multiple CRM campaigns hits for the same access sequence?". Does the system give a pop-up and allow the user to select one of them? Or is there any other way the system deals with this?

Recommended patch 120445-01 will not install with Sol. 9 (09/2005)

Patch 120445-01 will not apply to a Solaris 9 (09/2005) setup. The hardware is an Ultra-80. Although it is recommended, it fails with the "patchadd" message:
Checking installed patches...
One or more patch packages included in 120445-01 are not installed on this system.
The host was installed from scratch and the "smpatch" was run until it had no more patches to apply except this one.
For us, this patch is only an annoyance. When I cursorily read the description, I doubt that these features exists on this hardware.

I had to install the packages:
TSBWvplr.u
TSBWvplu.u
from the DVD media. I could not find these packages from the CD media that I used. I had to use another machine to extract the packages.
I saw another post where it mentioned that patch 120445-01 would not apply. I suspect that the package install of it already has this patch.

How do I create a landing page

I would like to create a few different landing pages to go with email campaigns I'm working on. I have not used business catalyst before. Is it the same as adding a web page?

First you'll need to create the pages. If you are hoping to have like a subscription form, etc redirect you'll need to follow the guide below to set specific landing pages.

Based on your requirements it looks like you want clients to access your newsletter then have someway to access a specific page. The best way to achive this is to apply a direct link to the page you would like them to access. The email campaign feature doesn't have an auto-redirect option so the client would need to click on the applied hyperlink to access the desired page you want them to view.

Exporting "CSS and images (.htm.)" from Fireworks CS4?

Is this an effective process for developing CSS based layouts? Are there any proven tricks to improve the quality of the resulting structure?

It's a starting point, but it does not exempt you from understanding
XHTML and CSS. Currently there are some limitations to what the script
will export: it ignores additional states, javascript behaviors and
won't export more than 1 page at a time. Keep in mind this is just the
"first kick" and we'll no doubt see this feature embellished.
I recommend that you download and read about the updated CSS and
Images export script, modified by Matt Stow. You can find the new

IFCU in R/3 4.7

Hi All
Pl confirm me whether IFCU can be used in 4.7 Version. I have activated EA-PLM also done all configs under Consumption relevant Counter Reading Update.
When I select the Fluid type in IFCU it is not accepting the Fluid type configured and throwing error
"Auxiliary materials and consumables cannot determined " Even though all configs are correct.
I have done the same in 5.0 Version and tested its working fine but not in 4.7.
Pl confirm whether this feature is possible in 4.7 ????

Bcos with the same configs IFCU is working fine in 5.0 version, I tested that.
I have doubt whether this feature is there with 4.7. Can you pl cofirm that.

How can I request an enhancement to Thunderbird?

I'd like to see a capability in Thunderbird that would allow user to switch on/off (ie an over-ride of current system setting) "saving a copy" at an individual e-mail level at time of creation/send of the e-mail.
For example, my personal default setting may be "save a copy" -- but there could be many e-mails (particularly those with large attachments), or trivial content, that I really don't want/need a copy of. Would be great if I could click a "Don't save copy" button (or vice versa) at e-mail create/send time. That would obviate need to go through "Sent Mail" folder periodically deleting unwanted copies.
Where could I request/register such a new requirement?

A request for enhancements (RFE) is usually posted on [https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/ Bugzilla], but in this case, I highly doubt such a feature would be added to TB. You might have more luck trying to convince an add-on developer to add the option, e.g. the author of the add-on that provides the option to delete attachments from sent messages:

Modules Gbic Catalyst 6500

I have a peculiar problem with two gbic modules of Catalyst 6500.
First problem, I have a gbic port in module 7, which was a trunkport to Catalyst 2950, that does not allow conection to switch Catalyst 2950, and besides it harmed the yield of Catalyst 6500. I have to disconnect the optical fiber cable so that everything returned to normality.
Second problem. A port gbic in module 8, I let work and I disconnect of the network to one of the servants, by such reason I had to connect the fiber cable in another one gbic of he himself I module.
My question is: is necessary to change I modulate 7 and 8 not to have network problems on watch? or single to change gbic affected in each one of the modules?

Failure to get GBIC up during installation could be as a result of system requirements not met, incorrect cable installed, lack of power to the device, configuration errors or hardware failure. Verify that the GBIC cable is connected to another active network device and that the port is not shut down. Replace cable with a known good cable. Make sure GBICs are matched on either side of the connection. Make sure the flow control and port negotiation settings are consistent on both sides of the link. There may be incompatibilities in the implementation of these features if the switches being connected are from different vendors. If in doubt, turn these features off on both switches. Swap GBIC to a different slot. Also, try using a spare GBIC to see if it works. For more information, refer to Troubleshooting link :

Is it possible to scale only the weight of strokes without the objects?

I have a lot of line drawing illustrations each made with various weight strokes. Each illustration looks good by itself but when compared some look with overall thicker or thinner lines and I want to make them look the same because all will be used in the same book. To scale the weight of the strokes I make a scaled copy of each illustration and then select a line or set of lines selected using same -> stoke weight and with the eyedropper copy the style from the scaled version. This is a lot of work and I would like to know if there is a faster way to do this. Ideally I wish it was possible when using the scale tool to have the option to scale only the strokes with the same percentage.

Not quite the same thing. Using just one step in the situation you described only works because you had the forethought to use the same stroke weights on the two differently-scaled drawings. If you had used different sets of stroke weights in the two drawings, and needed to scale them to similar size, simply turning off Scale Strokes would not suffice; thus the workaround described.
Example:
You draw a camshaft using stroke weights of 1 pt. and 2 pt.
From another original, you have a rocker arm also drawn using two stroke weights, but of .75 pt and 1.5 pt. The rocker arm is also drawn to a different scale, three times that of the camshaft.
You need to combine the camshaft and rocker arm in the same drawing.
Simply scaling the rocker arm to 33.3% with Scale Strokes turned off would not serve. The rocker arm would still have stroke weights lighter than those used in the camshaft. So you:
1. Note an overall dimension of the rocker arm drawing.
2. Scale the rocker arm to 133.33% with Scale Strokes on.
3. Scale the rocker arm back to its original size by keying the noted dimension back into the H or V dimension fields, with Scale Strokes off.
4. Scale the rocker arm to 33.33% with Scale Strokes off.
Even the workaround will not truly serve if the stroke weights used in the two drawings being merged are not proportional. For example, If the camshaft had been drawing using stroke weights of 1 pt and 2 pt, but the rocker arm had been drawn using .75 pt and 2 pt.
The underlying lesson is that it's advantageous to structure drawings using Graphic Styles, just as it's similarly advantageous to always use paragraph and character styles--even when you think you don't need them.
So GSI's desire for a sensible, no-nonsense setting that allows you to scale strokes without scaling paths is quite legitimate. This could be implemented as simply as:

...and make the checkboxes behave like checkboxes are supposed to (non-exclusive), rather than like radio buttons (mutually exclusive).
Given several drawings (ex: a set of cartoon figures drawn at different times and/or from different sources) all drawn in loosey-goosey, artsy-tartsy eyeballed fashion with no structure whatsoever in terms of defined (and therefore selectable) styles, one could at least scale the various drawings to commensurate proportion and then just the stroke weights based on percentage of their original weights, and at least make the combined drawing more convincingly consistent. A "Sameness" slider could even be provided to skew the scaling of thin versus thick weights.
Failing that (as is no doubt certain), this feature could be built with Javascript. But the result of doing so would be far more elegant if one could get the Palette object of ScriptUI to work worth a dang.

What are peformance overheads of turning on Automatic SGA(SGA_TARGET > 0 ) feature in 10gR2(10.2.0.3)? We are migrating our OLAP database to 10g on Linux and would like to know the impacts before we do that..
How frequently Oracle performs the resize operations and how much latencies it introduces to the response time?
How do you monitor the latencies introduced by SGA resize operations? i.e. what event user session will wait ( if waits ) if resize operations are under progress?
How buggy/stable this feature is ?

How buggy/stable this feature is ?As with all self-managing systems, there is an overhead. It is in two specific areas - monitoring and logging of the load and adjusting the parameters dynamically. You do pose an interesting question as to which metrics are available to monitor the management process. I have not dug into it, so I can not answer the question - yet. I'm just responding to highlight that it has an impact at other times as well.
Flip side - what are the performance overheads and performance losses associated with the DBA tuning (or, more likely not tuning) the SGA & PGA manually per the various workflow requirements. This is the case that the auto tuning was likely designed to tackle.
I highly doubt that the feature will be better than a crack DBA team adjusting the pools manually based on real and known workload. But I don't run into many situations where an entire crack DBA team can be assigned to proactively manage DB performance 24x7. (Thus, the feature becomes useful in spite of overhead.)

UCCX CAD for PSTN Phone

I need a clear one of my doubt regarding UCCX feature for supporting CAD for remote working agent where they don't have VOIP phone or CIPC at home for call quality .Instead they use there home PSTN phone for taking call from UCCX using CAD.
Is that possible in UCCX environment 9.x or 10.x and is that supported by cisco TAC.

OK, I'm not quite sure where to post this topic, so I just stay here in Java Programming ;-)
Does anyone know if it's possible to write a java-plugin for winamp??
It doesn't have to be complex. We are building something here, and already have a standard-java program. We now want to fetch the artist name and song name of the song, which is currently playing in winamp.
Any clue where to start?!???

Since I very much doubt that Winamp features a Java API, you'll have to create a nativ DLL that connects to Winamp. Then Java program in turn can connect to the DLL using JNI and you have your data.
