please, tell me the scenerios,where we dont need to create datatype (DT) ,MT etc.
something idea i have like when we r geeting XML(xds,etc) Structure in incomming file .
but iam not very much clear on this concept.
pls guide me .

Hi Pavan,
you dont have to create data type or message type when you will work with standard Idoc and/or External definition.
Generally when we make interfaces between R/3 mostly we use the standard Idocs. Some time we need to create customized Idoc and that is based on requirement.
And for other system we can use external definition or customized DT and MT.

If you are referring to authentication over sip trunk, then NO! CUCM doesn't do authentication you will need a CUBE for that

Set the JAVA_HOME and PATH
then execute the
$WL_HOME\wlserver_10.3\server\bin>setWLSEnv.cmd
Go to directory which contains weblogic.jar ($WL_HOME\server\lib) and run below command

CRM 7.0 Portal Integration

Hello All,
I need to integrate CRM 7.0 <-> Portal.

and the pre-requisites section says that we need to install the Business Package for SAP CRM 2007.
Question:
1. In a summary, the integration happens basically by creating CRM reference system & creating BSP iViews in Portal.
So why do we need CRM Business Package?
2. The portal Integration section talks about XML file. Can someone please elaborate on this.

Oracle SOA Suite vs oracle Application Integration Architecture

HI,
Oracle soa suite provides the environment to make use of existing service by providing oracle adapters including Legacy,package and application adapters. futher which suituation and why need to use oracle AIA in order to make use existing resources. am little bit confuse both of this approach over integration.
can anyone clear my doubt

when your integration is for integrating standard applications such as EBusiness uite,Siebel,SAP,Fusion Apps etc.For those application either the standard PIPs are available or at least industry specific or application specific EBOs are delivered by Oracle,then you can go for AIA.
For small integrations SOA suite is sufficient.

Question abt INtegration Kit

I have few doubts need clarification:-
1] Data Integration kit is required only for integrating Crystal report with BI. Is that Correct?
2] In big environment should it be installed on every system or on the application server?
3] In corporate environment how does BO EDge Series works. My understanding is that itshould be installed on every system. Is that correct?
4] We do not need any integration kit to integrate BO Edge Series with BI. We just need to establish connection. Is that correct?

It's called the SAP integration kit not data. It is required for server and Crystal reports.

Both BOE servers and app servers

Edge is like a BOE server with app server but there is an edge version with the int kit already built in (ask a sales consultant about this) Also do not use WACS if you plan to use the int kit use tomcat or other app server.

If you have the version with the kit already built in then no, if not you may need to change versions or add the kit (I'm not 100% on this point as I usually work with BOE not edge)

Keynote files in iCloud do not appear when opening Keynote on iPad

I have just run into a problem in which one file created in Keynote, 5MB, stored in iCloud, doesn't appear when I open Keynote on my iPad. This is the only file that I am having difficulty with. I have tried removing and resaving it to iCloud to know avail. I have saved other files to iCloud which do open in Keypad.
Anyone have a solution for me?

Share pane hanging after sending multiple emails

Hello all,
I've got a problem with pdf activex integration control AxAcroPDFLib.AxAcroPDF. It is added inside a container of a windows form applicaton (.net), and the use case that I'm looking forward is the "send pdf as attachment using the default mail client".
By default, the option "Use Share pane to send email" is checked. When I try to send the pdf as attachment 3 times (same or diferent documents), the share pane freezes and no mail container pops up. This meant the user had to restart the application to continue use the send pdf as attachment which is very "awkward". In case it has any meaning, this problem is happening on Windows XP SP3 32b.
If I turn off the "Use Share pane to send email" option, this problem no longer occurs.
Is this a known bug or a limitation?

I've marked the answer as helpfull since it clears out any doubt about misuse of the integration API.

Hi Experts,
I am new to XI, i have one doubt on connectivity of existing integration.
1. I read somewhere that XI connects to existing integration solutions
through JMS and SOAP messaging, is it so.....?
2. What is JMS and SOAP messages, what is the functionality of these messages ?
3. How to integrate to existing intergration solutions using these messages??

A) XI is the middle ware tool so It can integrate Non sap system and SAP systems through variuos adapters like File,JDBC,JMS,HTTP,IDOC,EMAil,SOAP now all the adapters has their own functionality and used in different situation for example if u wanted to pick file then u go for file adapter for connecting to database u will go for JDBC adapter but it uses the SOAP messaging to interact with different systems.
2. What is JMS and SOAP messages, what is the functionality of these messages ?

Can I use Oracle Streams to integrate Oracle Database 8.1.7 version with Oracle Database 9i version?
I mean, is Oracle Streams a product found only in 9i release?

I can see that Oracle Streams can integrate Oracle with non-Oracle databases...
But, can I integrate Oracle Databases in different versions using Streams?

Need help w/graphic card purchase

I'm using a Asus Essentio PC. When I bought this at BB I told the salesperson that one of the MAIN things I needed the computer to do was play Sims2. When I doubted the ability of the integrated graphics to handle this he told me it would be NO problem. Well, it's a problem. I'm not super computer literate and looked to the salesperson to be knowledgeable and that was a fail. So now I need to buy a graphics card & power supply (?). I don't trust that I'll get the help I need, since I didn't when I was making the original purchase. So, what I have to work with is: Asus Essentio Model CM5571 Processor: Pentium Dual Core CPU [email protected], OS is Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, Memory: 6144 MB RAM, Intel G45/G43 Express Chipset, Intel 4 series Express Chipset Family. I hope I provided the correct info. What I can afford is about $200. Is there anything I can do?
