Where did you come across these? We have the Report Designer (http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/dd/cea14119eb9f09e10000000a155106/content.htm) and Visual Composer (http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/42/c2ba7f545e3116e10000000a1553f7/frameset.htm).

As you don't say what you are supicious about it's difficult to know what problem it is that you think that you have.
You can check the purchase history on your account via the Store > View My Account (Store > View My Apple ID on iTunes 11) drop-down menu option on your computer's iTunes), though I'm not sure if that shows in-app purchases and/or auto-renewing subscriptions . If you haven't purchased anything and you haven't added or changed your credit card details (when you do then a small temporary store holding charge may be applied to check that the details are correct and valid, which should disappear within a few days) then you can contact iTunes support via this page if you have charges that you don't think that you should have : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

when i want to send a sms of string of unicode. is it necessary to encode it in UTF8 or UTF16 ???
when i encode it then the length of the string comes larger.
can i send sms as a string of unicode without changing its length????
like this:

By default SMS has it's own text encoding and therefore you cannot use UTF8 nor UTF16. There is a special UCS2 encoding, alowing for 70 unicode characters to be send (per sms). See: http://www.dreamfabric.com/sms/

As per SAP CATT shoculd not be used for uploading data....
Use LSMW , when table control is not required.

Callable statement doubt-urgent

hi all,i got a problem in callable statements.i know how to pass parameters to a procedure using a callable statement.but this time i need to pass a table name as a parameter.the problem is if i get that variable as a IN parameter in the procedure then how do you put that parameter in place of table name inside the procedure.heres a example,the pocedure is in oracle

In some databases the SQL used in your stored procedure can reference 'variables' that contain the values to be used at statement execution time. This will be covered in your database's SQL reference. If this is not supported by your database you will have to perform a 'switch' based on the table name passed and select the SQL statement to be executed.

Reports generation in pdf on reports server..urgent reply required

i tried generating reports in pdf format on the web browser.
the report gets generated if there is no parameter form without any problem.
but when a parameter form is called and then the report is called, there
is a message shown on the bottom of the web browser saying 'there was
an error in opening this document'.
This is not the case when working on the HTML document. it works both with
and without the parameters.i have the pdf acrobat version of 4.05b, and ie 5.5

I have a requirement-
we get damaged products into plant- and we do value addition to the damaged product and sent it as a finished product to the customers, also we dont want to valuate it at plabt level as its customer product. And to that finished product we consume some raw material on shop floor.
( as I recieve it as x-material code, and as I am doing some value addition to the same X-material( want to create a production order, can nn this case we maintain same material code?),
any explanation & suggestions on this? in SAP R/3

Hi Srinivas,
This is an MTO scenario.
You recieve material from customer as X and u do some value addition and return the material to customer as X again. Please confirm if this is right.
Assuming Yes as answer, Suggest you to create Recursive BOM for each of such Finished material. Do not worry about the raw material in BOM you can add this directly to production order when you get the material and finish analyzing what component must be used.
Create sales order and you will run MRP for it. Convert the plan order to production order and then add the raw material in the production order. I assume that you will be doing quality inspection or prilimanary analysis to find out what compoenent must be added. Maintain this step as oper. 10 in your routing so that inspection activity time is also captured.
Routing can be maintained as default for base Qty. and minor chnages can be taken care of later. Since this is MTO and repair for damage material will require different amount of time for each time the finished material arrives for repair, you will have to make manual changes in timing of production order after inspection of damage has been done. This will ensure the planned cost is captured as well. Making chnages in CO11N directly is not recommended because it will create the variance in month end process.
Please note that in MTO scenario settlement of cost is important. you need to sit with finance and SD and decide where will the Cost for GR against production order be settled (SDI or MAT). Based on this, you might have to create a new strategy type as well.

I have a problem in running a scenario of CS. My scenario the is a machinery which consists of components and warranty was for only some few sub components.
Ex:
Taking consideration into a Mobile phone, the company is giving warranty for only battery. I do i classify it?
Is this the order to create and please suggest me the way to create. That will be very much helpful to me.
1)Material creation
2)characteristics and class assignment to material
3)Creating contract and (assigning serial no to the line item in sales order at technical objects in extras tab)
4)Taking reference of contract i will create sale order and deliver the material and billing it.
5)After some period if the machine had got a problem we will create a service notification based upon the customer explanation.
6) Technician will go to customer site and analyze the problem and prepare the quotation of the repaired part.
7) After the confirmation from customer about quotation we will generate work order.
8) Receipt of return material and raise of work completion order.
9)Billing wrt order.
While delivering how can we say that the warranty will starts on that day and warranty finishes on the particular day.
Similarly, while taking the mobile phone example into consideration how can i get an msg that there is a "warranty for battery".
Is there any functionality for creating BOM and assigning equipment for that.

i have a doubt in java. do java have any classed to list the drives, files and folder in a GUI format.. as windows does. i know there are controls in VB for listing the drives, folders and file. is there any class in java of this sort

Both Aldaris and Yogee have the correct answer but in different ways. Aldaris' answer will give you the listing although it ideally, should recurse through sub-directories. Yogee gives you a GUI component to choose or save files. A third alternative would be to use a JTree. There are numerous examples of trees containing a directory structure, on the web.

About learning, I guess from what you just mentioned above, you are already having a year with you to decide it and to get free time to learn anything with complete attention. Other than that, there is no such thing that linux is better than windows and windows is totally useless. Both are good but that depends on how much good is that person who is managing it. So learn anyone but be good in it. Linux is spreading more across everywhere so having its knowledge surely would help in addition to windows knowledge ( which you have already said you are very good at).

Hi,
the enjoy transactions are transactions that use the control framework. This includes but is not limited to, custom controls, tree controls, alv controls, splitter containers, docking containers, html controls, etc.
As mentioned a lot of transactions have been rewritten to use the new control framework. Usually the tcode with an "N" as the last character.
me21n,me22n etc.
So, in your case the transaction are not enjoy transactions.

Do you refer to the 9i AS Metadata Repository / iasdb?

1) yes, if mid-tier components (like Reports) metadata is stored there
2) do you consider your apps important?
Also note that Infra. and Mid-tier installs should be backed up sync'd (both at same time). There is a paper on OTN about this.
