Down-loading from camera to 3.0 starter

When I try to down-load pictures from my Canon 20D it gives me a message that "this device does not contain any supported media". I had upgraded from the 2.0 starter edition. Did I miss something?

Hi Dale,
One possibility is that your camera contains files which are not supported by Album Starter 3.0 (such as RAW files). For Album Starter 3.0 supported image formats are jpg, bmp and tiff.
Please see what all files are there on your camera. Try using card reader to view all the files on your camera. Also click some more pictures in .jpg formats and then try using Album Starter 3.0 for downloading pictures.
Let us know if your problem is resolved.

  • I Photo not down loading from camera

For some reason my I Mac is not down loading pictures from my camera, or SD Reader or CD / DVD to the library. It will start to down load and you see the pictures loading, then IPhoto crashes ( at 25th or 157 picture) saying operation stopped for unknown reason. I have removed all photo's from the library freeing up space and it will still not take the pictures. It will however except them one at a time, however I take a lot of pictures and this is not productive.

Very Important, how much Free Space is on your Hard Drive first of all? Click on the Macintosh HD on the Desktop, then do a Get Info on it.
Could be many things, we should start with this...
    "Try Disk Utility
    1. Insert the Mac OS X Install disc, then restart the computer while holding the C key.
    2. When your computer finishes starting up from the disc, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first.)
*Important: Do not click Continue in the first screen of the Installer. If you do, you must restart from the disc again to access Disk Utility.*
    3. Click the First Aid tab.
    4. Select your Mac OS X volume.
    5. Click Repair. Disk Utility checks and repairs the disk."
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=106214
Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)
If perchance you can't find your install Disc, at least try it from the Safe Boot part onward.
Then try to Repair or Validate the card or CD.

Is there a "Palm hand held" that I could use to down load photos from camera, this would be instead of taking a laptop on trips overseas?
    Regards Ron
No, there is not.  "Palm hand held's" have been discontinued for a long time now...

  • E-mailing movie clips down loaded from Camera

    Hi,
Just downloaded pictures and some video clips from a Canon digital camera. I know how to e/m photos using Entourage but I want to e/m a video clip. I've started a new e/m and then added it as an attachment...but it encodes to about 68 MB. Do I compress the picture? What is the correct way to e/m the video clips?
    Thanks so much
    rwh

68mb is too big to email (though some accounts can handle it). My recommendation, other than compressing the video, would be to upload it to a website. Photobucket, for example, will enable you to upload up to 100mb of video. From there you can simply email the link to the video.

  • Cable to down load from camera

What cable do I need to download video from a friend's camera to my Powerbook so I can import to FCE?
    Pasquale

That type of cable is usually a six pin to six pin.
You can buy an adapter to step one six pin to four but a dedicated 6>4 pin quality cable is the best option.
If you have a mini DV camera there will be a DV socket somewhere on the camera body, usually under a not so obvious plastic flap or door. The socket will be called iLink, Firewire or IEEE1394, all names relate to the same thing.

  • Down load from camera to photoshop

How do I add my digital camera to select a device?

When you attach the camera to the PC using a USB cable, Windows will detect the device and install its driver.
Once the driver for the device is installed, the next time you launch APD, it will automatically be listed in the 'Select a Device' list.

  • Trying to get my itunes to go back to english but is coming up Russian on windows 7. I initally installed English version and about 6 months ago it came back Russian. I have use all the suggestion including unistall and reenstall a new down load from appl

I'm trying to get my itunes to go back to english but is coming up Russian on windows 7. I initally installed English version and about 6 months ago it came back Russian. It was English for over 2 yrs. I have use all the suggestion including unistall and reenstall of a new down load from apple.

I copied the iTunes file from the external drive and it's in both places.  I thought all I would need is the iTunes program (which I downloaded to new computer) and my iTunes library file.  There must be something else that's missing.  My iTunes library looks the same on the new computer as it does when I open it on the external drive.  If I click on an iTunes library song from my new computer, it will only play if I have the external drive plugged in.
My back-up drive is a mess.  I have multiple copies of music, video, photo, and document files and I don't know how that happened. ={  Obviously, I don't know how to back up stuff properly and there are back-up files extending over a 6- to 8-year period.  I think all I did was just drag and drop the main folders from the back-up drive to the same main folders on the C: drive.  Also (and I'm kind of fuzzy on this) Windows used to automatically save music files in a folder within my document files (which makes no sense to me).  As my Jewish friends would say, "Oy Vey!"

  • I just want to know what Apple computer to get to play Civilization V down loaded from the App store.

I just want to know what Apple computer to get to play Civilization V down loaded from the App store.
The game Civ5 processes a turn in single core mode. It says “please wait” while it processes a turn. If the intel i7 CPU is “fourth generation” it is twice as fast for civ5 turn processing. It does not matter if you have more memory or a better graphics chip. So, I can get a smaller cheeper Apple computer as long as it is fourth generation. I tested three new iMacs, two new MacPros and two mac minis.
    See:
    http://apolyton.net/showthread.php/193302-Civ-5-Processor-performance-analyzis-a t-Gamespot
I have looked at that darned “please wait” message for years. Now it can be 60 seconds on a new MacPro6,1 or late 2012 Mac mini and 30 seconds on a new iMac. Even the 21.5 iMac 3.1 GHz has 3.9 GHz turbo boost for single core and it is supposed to be fourth generation.
Some of that does not seem to true for the new 21.5 inch iMac I just tested (Fusion drive). Mac Mini 54 seconds 21.5 iMac 49 seconds.

Legality aside (I'm not a lawyer and have no opinion on the matter) in order to make a purchase of an iPhone 5 you would need to travel to a country where they are for sale and purchase it there. Be sure to get one that is officially unlocked or you would not be able to use it with your cell carrier. Be sure that your carrier supports use of the iPhone before you buy. Also note that the warranty of the iPhone is only valid in the country of purchase.
Appe does not ship outside of the countries where it sells the phones.

I cannot seem to load raw images into LR 2.5.  I've been using this for years.  I always load from memory card, but it gives me an unknown error message.  I tried to load from camera, hard drive, & external drive and still will not work.  I checked import menu and nothing has changed.  I loaded the photos onto my tablet and images are fine, so do not feel it is the memory card.  Any thoughts?

The error message probably said "unsupported or damaged"
The T3 requires Lightroom 3.4.1 or later. You can either upgrade to a more current version of Lightroom (version 5.6 is the most recent) or you can use the free Adobe DNG Converter to convert the RAWs to DNG, which should import into Lightroom properly.

  • Sales org to down load from R/3 -?

    Hi friends
Sales organization in CRM create and attach to R/3 sales org -?
    OR
we have to down load from R/3 -?
Please some one can help me on this issue.
    Thanks
    Kris

    Hi Kris,
    Both will do.
    For the download from R/3,
you may check in a report:
    spro->CRM->master data->org management->data transfer
    (program CRM_ORGMAN_R3_ORGDATA_GENERATE)
If both system will have exactly the same, then maybe the latter one will be a better idea which need less effort.
