I am trying to down load I Tunes 11.1.4, but get error 7, windows error 126, MSVCR80.dll, i tried re install, any ideas?
Hello trilobyte8,
Thank you for the details of the issue you are experiencing with installing the latest iTunes update. I recommend following the steps below:
Resolution
Follow these steps to resolve the issue:
Check for .dll files
Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes and C:\Program Files\iTunes and look for .dll files.
If you find QTMovie.DLL, or any other .dll files, move them to the desktop.
Reboot your computer.
Note: Depending on your operating system, you may only have one of the listed paths.
Uninstall and reinstall iTunes
Uninstall iTunes and all of its related components.
Reboot your computer. If you can't uninstall a piece of Apple software, try using the Microsoft Program Install and Uninstall Utility.
Re-download and reinstall iTunes 11.1.4.
I understand that you have already uninstalled iTunes, but when you get to this step, it is important to uninstall iTunes and the related components in the order listed in the link for that step. You can find the full article here:
iTunes 11.1.4 for Windows: Unable to install or open

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

I cant get I tunes to down load on to my computer it keeps telling me it cant find the APPLE APPLICACATION SUPORT?????
With the Error 2, let's try a standalone Apple Application Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of the issue.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:
http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR suitable for your PC (there's a 32-bit Windows version and a 64-bit Windows version). If the following link takes you to the WinRAR home page rather than the WinRAR downloads page, click the Downloads header in the box at the left of the WinRAR home page to see the trial version downloads:
http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm
Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleApplicationSupport.msi to do a standalone AAS install.
Does it install properly for you? If so, see if iTunes will launch without the error now.
If instead you get an error message during the install, let us know what it says. (Precise text, please.) -
Can't down load I Tunes 5 Update
I've tried multiple times to down load the latest I Tunes update, all with no success. When I get to the final screen that says my down load will begin automatically, nothing happens. I've left that screen up for as long as two hours to see if anything happens but nothing does. I am using Windows XP Home. Any ideas as to how I can download the update? (Although, after reading some of the problems on this chat site, I wonder if I'm not better off just staying with 4.7)
hi Web Man!
When I get to the final screen that says my down load will begin automatically, nothing happens.
pop-up blockers sometimes cause this problem. (check your Windows ones as well as any browser-related ones.) also, check to make sure your firewall is set to allow you to download material from the Apple site, and if you're on dial-up, try disabling any accelerators.
keep us posted.

Since down loading i tunes 10.6, it will not open
i Tunes will not open. It comes up on the screen , and then disappears, and then the "Problem Report" comes up. Ive re-installed iTunes, to no avail. OS X10.7.3 will not let me use Time Machine to go back to an earlier copy. Any suggestions.
[email protected]Hi Limons,
Thanks for the reply, unfortunately it has not worked...every time I try to update the Installation alert window pops up asking me to close Itunes, which is closed.
Thanks

I need help with downloading movies without having a wi fi connection, during this recent snow storm in CT we have lost power to our house, so no WI FI. I would like to use the 3 G network but it doesn't work to down load I-tune rented movies? I don't understand this. This is why I bought the IPAD to watch movies away from home, or in the home if the pwr goes out.
There is a 20 meg download limit per file over 3G - if the film is larger than that (and unless it's a very short film it most likely will be) then you will need access to a wifi network.

HT1338 I've down loaded music and paid but the song is not the one i downloaded
I have down loaded a tune and when I play the tune it playes the one next to it
If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copy of the track and try redownloading a fresh one. See the following document for instructions:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the item that is not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the item, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item. -
