Down loading Photoshop CS3

I had to replace my Photoshop CS3 because I crashed my hard drive, so I logged on [Email removed] and went to my old orders and found #AD001688683 from July 2008.
It had my correct serial number [S/N removed], so I down loaded it. Now when I try to open the program I just get the file where it is located.

I'm assuming that is his Adobe ID with which he is tracking his previous purchase.

EDIT: He has posted Serial number there as well! I've removed it and have told him to follow up here. I've also mentioned if he's in a hurry, he can tweet @Adobe_Care.

Getting error on imac at time of loading photoshop CS3 plugin - "One or more plugins currently not available on you system"

Hi,
I am getting below error message while loading photoshop plugin on intel mac os 10.5.7 in photoshop CS3.
"One or more plugins are currently not available on you system. For details, see Help -> System info"
In System info it is giving error as
"Plug-ins that failed to load:
Dissolve NO VERSION - - from the file “/Applications/Adobe CS3/Adobe Photoshop CS3/Plug-Ins/Filters/Dissolve.plugin/”
I have build this code with Xcode v3.0 & selected settings build configuration as "i386".
Is there any CS3 SDK updated need for intel mac or any build settings need to be done in xcode?
Same plugin is working well on emac, but giving above mentioned error on intel mac.
Please let me know if anyone have any idea about this.

I need help down loading photoshop elements 11 - PLEASE HELP

I have purchased the Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 and I have the serial number. I have attempted to down load it twice and each time when it said down load complete, I click open and it takes me to the app store. When searching my computer for it, it doesn't even show it's on my computer except in the down load folder but it won't do anything else. I keep getting a message when down loading the second part that says . PLEASE HELP!!

I purchased, on line, Photoshop Elements 10 on October 25, 2011.
The Toshiba laptop I downloaded this to "crashed" this past Sunday. I have been trying to download this software on my new Toshiba laptop. I sign into My Adobe. I find my purchase from October.
However, when I follow the instructions to down load it advises Photoshop Elements 10 cannot be downloaded. What do I need to do in order to be able to download PE10 on my new laptop?

Login to your account at adobe.com and you'll be able to see your registered products. You can download your electronic copy of the installation files from there. Once downloaded, use your serial number to activate it.

There is apparently a problem with IE10+ in that it is mistakenly seen as being IE1. To get around this either use a different browser or use compatibility view (http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/internet-explorer/use-compatibility-view#ie=ie-10)

How to check legality of Photoshop CS3 DVD

Some years ago, I purchased PhotoShop CS3 for my Windows system. When I ditched my Windows hardware and switched to Mac, I retained Windows in Boot Camp for a time for backwards compatibility. I loaded Photoshop CS3 there. When I no longer required any Windows capability, I deactivated the software and uninstalled it.
These days I use CS6 on the Mac.
I want to pass on the CS3 DVD to my 89 year old Dad but want to be sure that I have done everything to make this a legal transfer.
I have checked my registered products on Adobe.com and the software is not there.
Is the only way to be sure to have my Dad install it and see if it works?
Having worked for many years for a software company (SAS) I am greatly protective of copyright.

What I had in mind was upgrading from CS3 in steps: CS3 to CS4 to CS5 to CS6.
