Down loading Pod Casts

Good day, helpful Mac users:
I just got a BlackBerry and I'm trying to down load pod casts.
When I when I open the radio station web page with their pod casts I get the following:
Warning: Unresponsive script:
Warning: Unresponsive scriptA script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete.
Script: file:///Applications/Firefox.app/Contents/MacOS/components/FeedWriter.js:312
The choices are stop the script or continue. Either way the pod cast will down load with the quicktime plug in and then I can save as source.
So I'm getting the pod cast but the error message bugs me. Thanks for any ideas.

Are you trying to download the podcasts onto your Mac or directly to the Blackberry?
If you are on your Mac, it sounds like there is a problem with their web page. Try turning javascript off, or try to locate and download the podcast from within iTunes.

The iTunes Store no longer sells games compatible with iPods other than the iPod touch. Applications requiring iOS 4 or newer can't be run on the first generation iPod touch.

I just hooked up my I pod 4th gen to down load songs and it said it wanted to download new version of software after download it went into restor mode...will i loose all pictures and songs?

Pod Cast slow down

This one has been bugging me for a while.I love podcasts and are a little disappointed in the lack of options on the Nokia Pod Cast appMy N96 is being slowed down by amongst other things the weight of podcasts I have downloaded.Would it be to simple to have an option allowing the user to set how many episodes are kept before the old ones get removed.If I blanket remove them all the next time I sync the device they all come in again. Is there a better podcast option?

Welcome to the forum.
If you have created either a Roll, or Crawl, with the Animation Preset, then you will want to increase the Duration of that Title, to slow it down. You can do this by click+dragging on the Tail of the Title.
Or, you can create a static Title, then animate it by Keyframing the Fixed Effect>Motion>Position over time. That allows for much more control.

Only music purchased from the iTunes Store may be transferried from an iPod to a computer. See this article for reference -

I down loaded a song to the i pod when i sync to my computer it removed it but it is in the library and wont put it back in the i pod

I down loaded a song from i tunes right to the ipod then when i sync it to the computer it removed it from the i pod it is still in the library on my pc but it wont sync it back to the ipod but all the the other music is there just the one i down loaded directly to the ipod

Make sure the little box next to the song is checked. If it isn't then check it, and it should be all good to go.

Connect the iPod to the computer she syncs with and restore from backup. See:

She can also restore from iCloud backup if she has an iCloud backup.

Cannot transfer Apps / Music / Pod Casts to iphone from itunes

I am now unable to drag and drop apps / music / pod casts as before. Each time I attempt it as soon as the file is over my iphone a "no entry" sign appears.
I am sure this may have happened before and it was cured by down loading / installing a driver / piece of software from apple butr for the life of me I cannot remember the name.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

Likewise, I am experiencing the same problem. In addition, I have also hit two other issues which have happened simultaneously;
I now have to log on with my password every time I open iTunes (didn't have to do this previously)
Updates for my apps which are ready for download appear on my phone, but do not appear on my iTunes (which they did previously).
So there are three problems, which have all come at the same time.
Anyone out there with answers??

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

The missing apps could have been done by setting the Restrictions that can hid those apps. If the backup was made with those retrictions set the the Restrictions are also restored.
Thus, if you get it to work restore to factory settings/new iPod, not from backup

What happens when you try?
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Unsync all media and resync
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Pod Cast step by step - Novice inside.

OK, so I want to take a track from itunes (aac format)bring it into garage band and create a pod cast and then send it into itunes, create and rss file and place that and a link on my webpage .. This cant be as difficult as it seems, can it?
Do I need feedburner or all those other apps or can I do everything with my macbook?
If anyone has step by step directions it would be greatly appreciated. Dumb down the directions as possible

Synchronizing pod cast subscriptions between machines

Anybody know how to get subscribed podcasts synchronized between machines? Like bookmarks in Safari that are synchronized between machines? I don't care if each machine pulls down it's own local copy of the pod cast, I just don't want to repeat administration on my laptop and G5 separately.

I found a solution. Or rather one occurred to me. I dragged the podcast entries on to the desktop where they turned into links. Then I dragged them into a mail message and sent it to myself. On the other machine, I dragged the links into iTunes.
