Down Payment Alternative Calt type =48

Dear Friends
In standard Pricing Procedure RVAA01, AZWR= DOWNPAYMENT SETTLEMENT, using Alternative Calculation Type = 48:- Check Down Payment.
How we can see it function in sales document. and how it is affect to account.
Please tell its process step by step
Thanking You
Arun

Hi Chandu,
Can youplease confirm the the Asset Class (the one linked to the asset you are using for carrying out down payment with T.Code F-48) has been set-up in configuration as an AUC asset class. Check on T.Code OAOA for the radio button selected for Status of AUC.
In case your Asset Class - which is Plant & Machinery - has been set up as "No AuC or summary management of AuC" i.e. has been set-up as a final asset class then you will get the error.
Solution Options:
(1) Either change the Asset Class set-up (using T.Code OAOA).
Please note - you might not be permitted/able to do this if the system already has posted transactions for this asset class.
(2) Carry out the downpayment for an AUC Asset (create an AUC Asset using T.Code AS01). Carry out F-48 for this. Later settle this AUC asset to the required/relevant final asset (using T.Codes AIAB and AIBU).
(3) Specify your Asset Class as available for carrying out DownPayment transaction. Use T.Code OAYB and for Transaction Type Group 15, include/add a new entry for your asset class.
(4) Ensure that the Account Determination linked to you asset class (check this in T.Code OAOA) has been correctly and adequately set-up for GL account determination (use T.Code AO90).
Hope this helps.

Ruchi

  • Down Payments Error: Account type K is not defined for document type DZ T

I am getting the error message: Transaction code: F-29
Account type K is not defined for document type DZ
         Message no. F5243
In this case i am trying to post a customer down payment in t.code:  F-29.
In the document type DZ in OBA7 we tick only G.L and Customer tab as this is not a vendor document.
Also the settings in T. Code : OBXR where we maintain configuration for customers has been maintained with a special G/L reconciliation account.
any help will be really appreciated,
    Regards
    Satish

I have checked all the settings
OBXR for Customer Down Payments. It is with indicator A and a Special G/L Account has been configured.
The special G.L Account is of the Recon account type Customers with FSG as Recon accounts
The document type DZ in OBA7 is ticked for G.L and Customer and this is how i think it should be as i am not paying a vendor downpayment
but it still gives me the same error.

  • IDOC from SRM to create Down Payment Request (F-47) in ECC

We need to build one custom object in SRM. This object(upon final approval) should trigger the creation of Down Payment Request in ECC(Tcode F-47) System. To elaborate more in simplest terms, The custom object in SRM is created to capture Advance Payment Request related Data. (Vendor, contract no, Advance Amount etc...). There is no standard IDOC type in SRM to capture this data.
In ECC system, we have one standard IDOC related to Down payment request (IDOC Type FIDCCP01).
Other thing is, when this outbound IDOC is trigerred from SRM, it has to not only to get the data from that custom object but also calculate some values and fill this in down payment request fields.
    Now questions:
Please help in letting me know the best method to achieve this. Should we use IDOC tecnology? If yes, then please detail the steps needed to achive this. Should we create the same IDOCbasic  type FIDCCP01 in SRM as we have in ECC. How can IDOC capture the calculated values for some fields in Down payment request? Do we need to create some function module for this?
Please detail the process step needed to achive this(like IDOC Basic Type creation, Functiona Module creation etc etc...). Or if we should use some other methd like RFC or BAdi etc... then please let know.
Thanks for any help the SDN community could provide.

  • Down Payment FAZ Document Posting using AZWR

For configuration of Downpayment for Milestone Billing. We have made
use of Condition Type 'AZWR'. This works fine as long as it is above
the VAT (TAX) Condition Type in the Pricing Procedure. The invoicing
Process in SAP involves Milestone billing with - 10% Advance Amount
(Downpayment) and rest Pro-Rata (%age wise) billing.
In case of Invoicing against a Material, VAT Condition Type is picked
up and AZWR has been configured just above the VAT (TAX) condition type
in the pricing procedure. This works fine when we create FAZ request
through Milestone Billing and the subsequent request in then posted
    through F-29.
But with Billing against a Service there are three tax condition types
viz. for SERVICE TAX, for EDU.CESS and for HIGHER EDU.CESS. In this
case too we have configured AZWR just above the three tax condition
types. Now, while creating a FAZ downpayment request. The system picks
up the Tax Amount only for the last tax condition type i.e. (HIGHER
EDU.CESS) in this case. Thus, for example if for the contract value of
Rs.1000. We have 10% as advance, thus, we have - 90.66 as net value and
    Rs.9.34 (9.07 as ST + 0.18 as Edu Cess + 0.09 Higher EDU.Cess)as Tax
    in the FAZ Request.
The accounting document generated upon saving shows only 90.66 as Net
Value + 0.09 as Tax with the relevant tax code for Higher Edu. Cess
Condition. The rest of the tax conditions are not picked up. Because of
this, during F-29 posting only 1 line item of Tax Amount Rs.0.09 is
picked up with the relevant tax-code, and rest of the taxes are not. We
need all the tax conditions to be posted during FAZ so that the due
    ADVANCE AMOUNT IS POSTED.

    hi Imran
    1. Did AZWR is remain statistical or required some GL.?
now this condition type is just for a request for a down payment so there is no reqd for a GL...coz i am doing the same thing here...but as
if now i still face issues on this also and in the billing FAZ type you could see tat the condition base value is shown as the down payment
like as the item billing plan tab page for the down payments...like for eg 10% of the net value ...
    2. I take the down payment with FAZ type and post the incoming payment, than how can I post the actual billing (F2)??
well in this is true i do also have the same issue ...f-39 take the downpayments in but does not reflect . but to that i waud also like to
add this if you go to the sales order billing plan tab page of the item and there you got to choose the final invice, just like the downpayments is shown ...then the billing amount will come ...just try it and in the VF01 it will appear as billing FAZ with the downpayment
amount and the F2 also ....but the F2 is delivery related so i think you got to do PGI after the downpayments process then do f2...
if you get more info on that please explian
    3. There is no update after the down payment agains the condition type AZWR, did it will manually entered, or what is the bahavior of this.
sorry i hav no info on this
    5. Should I create a different pricing procedure with AZWR or what ????
not reqd. coz in the existing pricing procedure you need to have a subtotal after that AZWR
IT WUD BE REALLY KIND OF YOU TO SHARE ANY NEW UPDATES PLEASE

  • TDS down payment at teh time of vendor down payment not working

    Hi All
Can any one suggest why TDS is not getting deducted at the time of vendor down payment.
TAx type and tax code has been created for payment and GL account assigned for this for paid over. These codes are assigned to company code and vendor master data as well. In vendor masterdata it has been ticked on 'liable' also.
But when making doc with F-48 for vendor down payment, it is not populating for TDS deduction and hence no tds has been deducted.
Can anyone suggest if any more settings is required.
We are in ECC6, and using extended withholding tax for India.

    Hi Venkat
Actually all the mentioned steps already followed. I removed tax code from vendor master , but it doesn't help.
At the time of invoice posting TDS is working fine, but at the time of advance payment it is not working. It is not populating withholding tax popup at all.
In the tax type below are the settings- (standard SAP settings)
    calculation--
    base amount- Gross amount
Rounding Rule- Round w/tax amnt up
    Cash discount- c/disc pre w/tx
    Post w/tax amount --  checked
    Accumulation type-
    No accumulation - selected
    Control data-
    W/tax base manual - checked
    Manual w/tax amnt- checked
    w/tax for pmnts- checked
    No cert numbering- checked
    Define minimum/max amounts
    w/tax code level- selected
    withholding tax amount-
    w/tax code level- selected
    Central Invoice
    No cent invoice - selected
    Minimum check-
Minimum check at item level- selected
    Withholding tax code settings--
    Base amount - 100%
    Posting ind -  1
    with tax rate- 2%
These all are in extended withholding tax settings.
Can you please check why at the time of advance payment it is not asking for any withholding tax.

  • Down Payment Request for a Purchase Order Type K

I am making a down payment request to a supplier where the purchase order is of type K.
At the time of recording the payment request (A-47) the transaction meets the cost center of the purchase order and, because of having a message class (KI 281), blocks the release.
    The question is:
At present the validation of the message class (OBA5) should validate the account of the purchase order or the supplier's account of the F-47?
    Rgs,
    Ivair

    Hi
KI 281 message says that the GL account has to be created as a cost element. So, please create a cost element for the GL you are using (KA01). Hope this is the problem.
If this does not work, please let me know.
    Thanks,

  • Condition Type AZWR for Down Payments

    Hi All,
I am Working on Down Paymnet Requests (Billing Type FAZ). As per the OSS note i understand that we need AZWR Conditon type for Down Paymnet.
I understand that it is  for Value check for a down payment clearing item because the value of AZWR can be changed manually. If the value of AZWR from the down payment clearing item exceeds the agreed value in the order, the system displays an error message
Can you any body explain this more in detail. Thanks

    Basha

    Hi Basha,
    Please refer to note 213567:
    8.  Messages in the FI/CO interface
        a) VF525: "Total of down payment to be billed too high."
VF050: "Document & saved (no accounting document generated)"
In the standard system, you cannot perform a clearing of down
payment items with a total that is higher than the value of the
corresponding item to be settled from the partial or final
invoice.A billing document is created, but it cannot be
transferred to Financial Accounting because sending credit memos
to customers as part of down payments is not supported. However,
you do have the option to adjust the value of the down payment
clearing item (condition AZWR) according to the item to be
settled when you create the invoice. In this case, the remainder
of the down payment assigned to this item is proposed again for
clearing in the next partial or final invoice.
According to note 213526 we would use in standard the downpayment
condition AZWR for this process. This condition type could be changed
manually in the invoice. We could reduce the downpayment values
manually and message VF 525 would not appear again, when the downpayment
values would be lower or equal to the main item.
    I hope this is helpful.
    Regards,
    Alex

  • Can condition type of down payment in PO create an automatic dwn pyt reqst?

I have a requirement in SAP that the procurement team raises a Purchase order.  Once the order is approved (out of the release stratergy) the down payment request should be created automatically.  Currently, this is a manual process where in the information of down payment request is sent to the accounts department manually.  Can this be automated?
Is there a best practice available if the above automatic creation of DPR is not possible?

  • Down payment process without FAZ type

    Hi,
How to work on advance payment , when i create a sale order it should check and show me with a pop message that the downpayment is  due ,
This should happen in normal sale order process. I.e.,
    OR-LF-F2
    Please advice

    hello, friend.
down payment functionality is closely linked to the milestone billing plan.  this billing plan is assigned to your sales order type.
when you create the sales order, you can view the billing plan and it will show you that down payment date and value, in addition to the other installment items.
when downpayment is due (specified in the sales order) you can now bill the transaction using billing type FAZ.  this is normally not considered revenue and is posted to a special G/L account which will then necessitate settlement.
hope this helped and if it did please reward.
    regards.

  • Condition type for Retension Money  and Down Payment in construction co.

    Dear Friends,
In construction co they are using advance payment and retension money from the customer. what condition type I should use for Retension money and for Advance payemnt can I used AZWR (Down Payment condition type).
    Kindly help me
    Regards
    Atul.

    Hi Sridhar,
For sure, down payment is a balance sheet item, but you can get it as "expense" under value type 12 in CO.
So in case you have a purchase order, you will get in CO the cost element which is in the purchase order (and in Fi the account for down payment). In case you don't have a purchase order, the down payment will be register in CO under the cost element you enter in OKEP (and in Fi the account for down payment).
As far as I now, you don't get the down payment on cost center, only on internal oder, WBSelement ...
But is there a way to not get the down payment at all in CO (including internal order and WBSelement) ?
    Regards.

  • A/P Down Payment Invoice Item/Service Type

    Dear Experts,
Just wondering why in A/P Down Payment Invoice for the Item Type, the G/L Account i can view and select the G/L Account in a List. However, in A/P Down Payment Invoice for the Service Type i ONLY can view and select the only one G/L Account which i have been set at Adminstration-> Setup-> Financial-> G/L Account Detremination-> Purchase Tab for Down Payment Clearing Account.
    Your Reply is highly appreciated.
    Thanks.

The Clearing accounts is just that, a place where the down payment amount temporary sits, until it is cleared out through normal business processing. Having all the down payment amounts residing in a single expense account makes reporting this expense much easier from a General Ledger perspective.
With that being said, you can create down payment clearing accounts at the Business Partner level, this giving you the ability to use different accounts: Business Partners > Business Partner Master Data  > Accounting > General Tab.
    Hope that helps.
