Down payment report by purchase order

Hi,
Is there any report available to see the down payment/down payment requests by purchase order.
I am trying to execute the transaction code ME2DP but it does not exist. We are in ECC 6.
Please note we cannot use FBL1N (noted item/sp GL) as there is no PO in selection.
Regards
Shanif

HI,
You can try using Transaction code: ME2N with Scope of List 'BSET' and Selection Parameter which has option Down payment validation. If such selection parameter is not available in your system than you can create it using below path:-
SPRO - Materials Management -Purchasing -Reporting -Maintain Purchasing Lists -Selection Parameters
Please find below screen shot for the same:-

  • Error message in down payment on asset purchase order

    Hello,,
While i am trying to make down payment request with reference to PO have asset number it is return an error message
*Store a cost element for credit down payments
        Message no. KI165
    Diagnosis
You posted a payment to a CO-relevant object (cost center, order, and so
on). The payment is therefore recorded in CO.
If a payment has no order reference, no consumption account can be
derived. Therefore, CO posts the payment under a default cost element
        created and stored during Customizing.
You have not yet maintained this default in the system.
    Procedure
Maintain the default cost and revenue elements in the Implementation
Guide under "Project System" for controlling area CA00.*
I don`t know what is the reason for using this cost element and which type of cost elements that i can use in this issue....
We are not use Down payment clearing account, because Our customer don`t need this account..
    Please help me ASAP
    Thanks for your cooperation

    Hello Hussein,
For error message KI165,please maintanin default cost  element in OKEP.Down payments have to be posted in CO with cost   elements. In case of purchase orders (or open items in CO), the cost  element for consumption can be derived from the purchase order. Thus the  down payment in CO is posted with the consumption cost element.
If the  down payment does not have any reference to a purchase order, then the cost element for which the consumption will be posted is not known.  In this case, the cost element maintained with OKEP is used.
The error message KI165 will occur if no cost element is maintained with  OKEP - not regarding whether the actual down payment has a reference to  a purchase order and thus will update in CO under the consumption cost element derived from the purchase order.  This is always a  source of  misunderstanding - but I hope it is clear now.
OKEP configuration is absolutely necessary if you do not have  a cost element assigned at the time of downpayment request creation.
If after maintaining the default cost element you get some other error  then please note that you would need to check the following :
1.Compare the configuration settings for the GL accounts that are  used for posting the cash call in EHP4 system with the system without the EHP4 support pack.
2.Check the controlling area settings in both the systems.

  • Down Payment for Assets Purchase Order and depreciation

I have created one purchase order for assets now when i am making down payment against purchase order it pick up asset and post down payment correctly without depreciation. But when i am clearing down payment against the vendor invoice it is reversing downpayment in asset explorer [AW01N] with Transaction Type 180 and calculating depreciation on reversal amount. I am using down payment spl G/l indicate "M" even i tried with "A".
Can anyone tell me why it is reversing depreciation on downpayment cleared against invoice when original down payment is not calculating depreciation.

    Hi,
As per as my knowledge is concerned, you should treat the cost element as " Category 90 " , this is a balance sheet account.
       Please check at your end.
    Thanks

  • Clubbing of down Payment under one Purchase Order for a customer

    Hi
We have a client requirement in which the client wants to view all the down payments entered under one PO for a particular customer to together so that it helps in preparing invoice. How do we do it ans is there any standard SAP report available for it?
    Subir Didwania

    Hi
I had faced the same problem a few days back. The client in my case entered the customer 's PO Number in the reference field while posting the down payment. There is a standard SAP report FBL5N for customer. You need to go to change layout button (Cntrl+F8). A pop up will appear which will show the displayed fields on the left hand side and the hidden fields on the right hand side. select the reference number field on the right hand side (From the hidden fields) and add so that it appears in the displayed fields list. Click on the copy button. The new layout will appear for the data selected. Next click on the filter button (Contrl +F11). Again a pop up will appear. Select the ref number field on the right hand side and add to left column. then click on the right button. The system will then apply the filter and ask you for the reference number in which you can enter the PO number for which you want to display the details
Hope this meets your requirement. assign points if the information is useful to you

  • Trigger of down payment request from Purchase Order

    Gurus,
I need an immediate help frm you all.
I have a vendor which is created centrally and the payment term attached to the vendor is 50% advance and 50% 30 days from the date of invoice.
What basically my client wants is that the moment we raise a po on this vendor - it should trigger a down payment request with 50%(Down payment request and down payment is properly configured in FI) Eg. If PO value is 1000 it should trigger a down payment request for 500.
Can any one tell me how can I can do that through mm module.
Points will defnitely assigned for the right solutions.
    Thanks in advance
    Deepak

Am also having the same requirement...If u have ideas..just share is
An using BAPI_PAYMENTREQUEST_CREATE to trigger payment request..

  • Down payment against the Internal Order - for Capital Expenditure

    Dear friends
I am getting an error while making down payment against the purchase order.
The order of my entries or steps are as follows:
Created one internal order for Capital WIP with budget and availability control activation.
Created one purchase order against a vendor with reference to the above Internal Order.
When I am making the down payment to the vendor through tcode:F-48, the system throwing an error
"Define Cost Elements for Down Payments".
Can any one please explain why this error is coming. When I checked in Internal orders, there is a TCode: OKEP for Define Default Cost Elements for Down Payments.
System is asking for cost element, but where as what ever the down payment we are making is nothing but advance which is current asset. Why system is asking for cost element?
Can any one give me the guidance how to handle the issue.
    Thanks in Advance
    Kiran Kumar A

The reason is when you want the down payment for AUC to be capitalised, then you would need to create cost element for Downpayments.
Normally as per design of SAP, down payment being a Balance Sheet Account (Current Asset as you rightly mentioned) doesnot need / accept an Cost object, as a special case since down payments for AUC needs to be capitalised and hence need to be carried to Controlling (Internal Order) by creating Cost Element for Downpayments.
Go ahead and create the cost element. That would resolve your issue.

  • Payment detail in purchase order history in PO

    Dear All,
My Client wants that he should able to see the payment details in  purchase order history in PO. as we can see the GR, IR and down paymeny there.
i have tried by putting PO number in bank line item at the time of payment but it is not working.
can any one help in that issue.
    Shayam

    Hi,
You can't see the Payment details in the purchase order History. reason is SAP as defined MM and FICO tables and structures are differently.
Payments can't not be made by PO with line item wise so we can't track the Payment details  in the PO History.
    Hopw now clear.

  • Payment terms of Purchase Order and F-47

    Dear All,
How can we link Payment terms of Purchase Order and Advance Payment made thru F-47.
i.e if we have given payment terms in Purchase ORder as 50% advance then by advance payment (F-47) we shall allow to pay only 50% of Purchase Order value as advance.
How / where can we define this type of setup.
    Regards
    Swati

    hi,
There is no  way in the system to restrict the payment amount to 50%once, it is mentioned in the payment terms as 50% advance. System does not have control tocheck and avoid the full payment

  • Report for purchase orders - like ME80FN

    Hello,
is there a way to get a report of purchase orders which have been released for stock and for customer orders.
I tried ME80FN, but there is no column available such like account-assignment-category where I could separate the orders for stock from the customer ones.
    Any ideas?
    Thx a lot!
    Cheers Wolf.

account assignment category is available in dynamic selection
So you can at least execute ME80FN per account assignment category, even the field itself is not shown in the final report.

  • Simple FD for generating ALV report using purchase order or sales order

Can anybody send me a simple FD for generating ALV as well as interactive report for purchase order and sales order

On the both the Sales Pricing Condition type and the Purchase Pricing condition type there is a field called Ref.condit.type.
For example you have a sales pricing condition PR00 with value $10. In your pricing condition in MM for example PB00 you enter PR00 in the Ref.condit.type. The value for PB00 will now be $10.
Apart from this i do not think there is any standard configuration available in SAP for this. Please refer to SAP Note-95024. You may also consider to write your own logic in the PO Exit to derive the sales order pricing in PO.

    hi to all abap gurus
I want to change the Payment terms in Purchase order using bapi_po_change . can u pls give coding for this bapi with all required int tables declarations . points will berewarded for good ansers

There is a documentation available for this BAPI and there is an example (although it is a bit confusing). You need to send the folowing parameters:
    Parameter: PURCHASEORDER = <PO number>
    Parameter: POHEADER
    PMNTTRMS             =                    <payment term value>
    Parameter: POHEADERX
    PMNTTRMS             =                    X
Declare your structures/tables using the same type as in BAPI - just copy/paste.
