Hello, I recently purchased the Win8.1 Pro Retail on disk for my old student laptop. I'm not a student anymore and decided to get a full license. I installed and used the old WMC Media Center key from my old install which worked fine but I wondered
if it was still tied to my student OS, so I reinstalled again and bought a new key. Upon doing so, I see that I'd actually lost "all rights to the previous software" as stated in the Win8.1 Pro + WMC EULA. Is what I did against the EULA? There
are similar situations which Microsoft employees advise to just reinstall and then enter the WMC key but which would also seem to violate that clause. Please help me understand. This is a very pressing issue for me. I'm trying to get a
fully legal and EULA compliant install on my computer. It all works, I'm just worried I violated the EULA. Do I "lose rights" to the
currently installed software before the update or to the software contained on the
Win8.1 Pro disks? Thank you.

Depending on which country that you are in you might be able to re-download it for free : re-downloading. Otherwise, have you not got a copy of them on your computer and/or on a backup that you can use to re-sync them to the iPhone ?

I was wondering if anyone has these new machines yet? Seems to be from what I'm reading that Sandy Bridge is a huge upgrade over the previous generation Intel processors.
If you are using a system w/ i7 Sandy Bridge and AMD Radeon HD 6750M with 1GB RAM, what kind of performance boost would I see over my current 2.66 GHz dual-core i7 w/ NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M w/ 512MB RAM? Are we talking render and exporting twice as fast?

MPE is interesting, but with such a small set of graphics cards supported, kind of useless for anyone that doesn't have a desktop rig that they upgrade themselves.
Are there ANY (I would guess it would be a Windows laptop) laptops that support MPE?

It won't unless a problem occurs. Back them up, uninstall iTunes and all related components, and reinstall them.

What version of OSX are you using?
What model of mac pro are you using (e.g., 2010 Mac Pro is 5,1).
And also,
Try smc and pram reset.
And see if the monitor lites up if you boot in safe mode.
It is possible your monitor simply failed -- its power supply or something else.

Nope - you cannot restore a backup from a newer iOS version on to a device running an older iOS version. The reverse works, but in your case to use your backup, you must update to iOS 7.0.3 - no other option if you want to use that backup.

You can get the latest version of Firefox 3.6 from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html
You can trash Firefox 4.0 then re-install Firefox 3.6, it will use your existing bookmarks, passwords etc
