Downgrade CC to CS6

Hi,
Is it possible to downgrade CC to CS6 and get back Photoshop CS6 within CreativeCloud for my team?
After recent update there is so much f***-ups (eg. invisible/deactivated layers are still selectable) so we cannot basically do any web-design.
Thanks for help!

If you have a licence for C6 and then you the subscribed to the created cloud all you need do is cancel your CC subscription.  Your still a licensed CS6 user and you can re-install CS6 if you un-installed it. If you did not it should still be activated and operational on your machine.
Some of you new assets may not be fully useable with CS6 though.

  • Downgraded back to CS6, App Manager demanding Subscription reactivation?

I've installed CS6 successfully on my iMac and everything is working fine.  I install CS6 the very same way on my MBA and I can't open my apps because my 'subscription needs to be renewed'.
Help?  I need Flash to do my work today.

The fix was to create a new Adobe ID and then register the license.  My current Adobe ID created a conflict with authentication.

  • Downgrade InDesign to CS6 from CC

I have Creative Cloud and upgraded to the CC version of InDesign.  I deleted my CS6 version to save some space, but now realize that many of the plugins I used were still in development for CC.  Is it possible to revert temporarily to CS6? Anyone know of a link to the trial install (MAC)?

    Hello Romit
is this still work ( http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/download-previous-versions-creative-applications. html) with inDesign CC End 2014?

  • Downgrade «Photoshop CS6 Extended» to just «Photoshop CS6», it's standard version?

    Hey,
recently I've replaced my MacBook Pro 17" (Mid 2010) with new Retina (15" / Early 2013) and after I've installed Adobe Photoshop it appears to be Extended version instead of Standart. And I want my standart version back. I didn't use 3D features and I'm okay with standard version. I'm running OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.3) if it useful information.
So the question is: How do I downgrade my Photoshop CS6 «Extended» to «Standard» version?
    What I've tried:
    1. Reinstall application. No changes, still Extended version.
    2. Install on differenct computer same install package. I've tried to run this on my Mac Pro — unsuccessful.
    3. Reinstall application on «clean» OS X version on my previous MacBook Pro (17") — everything is okay. Standard version running as it does before.
Please help me solve this little issue, because Google left me without answers.
    Thanks,
    Jake.

    Simple.
It's just one and the same application, just one binary.  What determines whether you get the Extended features or not is your serial number.
If you're on a subscription basis, it will always be the Extended version.
If you're using the trial version, it will be Extended.  When you input a Standard serial number after you purchase it, it will become Standard.
If you've already put in your serial number and registered the applicaton and still see the Extended features, it means you paid for the Extended version.

  • Bridge CC *much slower* than CS6 - anyone else?

We've been using bridge since CS5 as part of our workflow, and have upgraded computers along the way to support the demands of larger file sizes (we now use D800s with 36Mpix files) and software upgrades.
A typical workflow on a top-end Retina MacBook Pro or top-end iMac includes loading full screan previews in Bridge, culling, and opening to ACR and then Photoshop for post-production with a large amount of PS being batch operations. Going from CS5 to CS6 "felt" faster doing the same things we did in each. Upgrading from D700 cameras to D800 camera "felt" slower until we upgraded computers. Now going from CS6 to CC "feels" slower. Significantly. So much so I ran a test on the Retina MBP (latest OS, 2.6GHz quad processor, SSD, etc)
Open & Process Full Screen Previews for 100 NEF Files
    CS6: 4 min 15 sec
    CC: 5 min 22 sec
Run ACR Adjustments on 100 NEF files as Batch
    CS6: 2 min 15 sec
    CC: 2 min 51 sec
Run Batch on 100 NEF files with 174-Step Action
    CS6: 6 min 13 sec
    CC: 12 min 44 sec
To ensure it wasn't just the Retina MBP, I did a similar range of tests on the iMac (latest OS, 3.4GHz quad processor, SSD, etc), and the approximate ratio of slow-down in within the range of standard deviation.
Loading is confirmed to both "feel" slower as well as actually be slower. So, too, is running batches. A lot slower. We're downgrading back to CS6 for now since this is unacceptable. However, the questions remains - is anyone else seeing these slowdowns?

I have no data but it appears that every version of PS needs more horsepower and this is the case for Adobe Camera Raw as well.  Just more data to process.  And this is not all of Adobe's making as every camera that comes out the manufacturer develops a new camera raw that is "better" as it has more options.

  • How do i get My Adobe After effects cs6 back after i updated to Adobe after effects cc

Benk52 if you need to download a fresh copy of the installation files for Creative Suite 6 you can do so at Download CS6 products.  You can locate your serial number under your account at http://www.adobe.com/.  You can find more details on how to locate your serial number at Find your serial number quickly - http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/find-serial-number.html.

  • Installed Flash CC, can i downgrate to CS6?

Hello , i installed Flash CC but i cant use As2 wth it and i cant do my projects Is there a way to downgrade to Flash CS6?
    Many Thanks

Flash CS6 is available on Creative Cloud.
1)Login to https://creative.adobe.com/products/flash using your Adobe ID.
2)You will find flash CC and Flash CS6 in the dropdown as show in the image below.
    3) You can download either of the products. If you have a valid flash CC subsription, both products will be available to you.
You can also try downloading CS6 products from here:
    http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/cs6-product-downloads.html
Also, Flash CC and CS6 versions can run side by side so you need not uninstall the CC version before installing Flash CS6.

  • InDesign CS6 down to CS5

    Hi all,
How do you downgrade an InDesign CS6 configurator panel to CS5?
Do you have to start from scratch?
    Best to you,

Yes, you need to start from scratch. Configurator does not support such operation.

  • Limited CC Renewal Option

I currently have the full CC license, paying a discounted rate, as I owned a full CS6 license for my key applications. I only use Acrobat Pro (for which I own a license from before), InD, PS & Ily (& Lightroom which I use only once in a blue moon, preferring Aperture). Have no use for all the other apps. Will I be able to renew ONLY for the apps that I want/need/use regularly?
If not, I'll have to downgrade back to CS6 because I don't want to have to pay for all the apps that I never use. The improvements in the CC apps that I do use regularly simply don't warrant a full CC contract fee IMO.
    Anybody else in this situation?'
    Thanks.

No, but I didn't have to reactivate (or reinstall) my other CS6 apps (download version). What's even more confusing is that this only started today (or possibly yesterday) and my CC sub ran out last month. Before I uninstall Acrobat X and try to download it separately I'd like to know if there is a simpler solution.

  • Adobe CS6 valid serial number downgraded to tryout

I have a valid serial number copy of Adobe CS6 Master Collection. I am the original owner of the software. I was given the copy from my university. Each student was given their own copy of the software and for the past 2 years. I haven't had any problems. Tonight when I logged into Adobe Illustrator. I was asked to enter my serial number and when I enter it. I was told that my serial number wasn't valid and all my Adobe Software was downgraded to Tryout.

    Hi there
Certain licenses supplied by universities expire after a certain period of time which appears to be the case here.  You should contact your university to find out what options are available to you.
    Kind regards

  • Can I downgrade from Dreamweaver CC to CS6?

Do you know if I can downgrade my current version of Dreamweaver CC to CS6?  I'm totally frustrated with Dreamweaver CC!  You can't do anything in this damn program.  nothing works.  When I look at all the tutorials and examples online with CS6 I am pulling my hair off my head because I can't do any of what the tutorials are trying to teach you because CC is totally different, and nothing works.  it's the worst program I ever bought in my life.

Yes, as a Cloud member, you have access to CS6.

  • Posibilidad downgrade CS6 a CS5.5?

Buenos días, un cliente me esta consultando si comprando la última versión de InDesign CS6 PN 65161181 podrá instalar la versión CS5.5 que es la que necesita. Quizás sea otra referencia la que deba adquirir en este caso?

The only way to get a downgrade is to buy a volume license (you can buy a single seat) and ask for the downgrade. I don't know if this will continue to be available with the new AdobeCC initiative, though it looks like CS6 licensing will still be sold.
