Downgrade from Enterprise 3.1 to EDGE

Do we have to make a new install if we will downgrade our installation from Enterprise 3.1 Sp03 to Edge.
Is it simply just to change the license key?
The current license applied is a temp enterprise license and system is installed at one server.

Hello,
no - you have to make a seperate install. After the install you have to transport your content from the Enterprise to the EDGE Server using the Import Wizard.

  • SQL server 2008 R2 downgrade from Enterprise to standard edition

    Hello,
we are going to downgrade SQL server 2008R2 from enterprise to standard for a server whose databases are not using any of the enterprise features.
Per the link http://www.mssqltips.com/sqlservertip/3079/downgrade-from-sql-server-enterprise-edition-to-standard-edition/ we had made a plan to do so.
However, we are not sure of two points:
    1) Do we need to import the SSIS packages, i.e. after downgrade would all the packages vanish? Therefore what should be done for the Integeration services on this instance?
    2) second would be related to reports configured. Would all the settings in reporting configuration also change? If yes what should be done while downgrading (removing the reporting services as well)
    Thanks, please suggest.

    Hello,
I you copy the old system databases incl ReportServer Db as described in the article then you have all SSIS packages & reports available as before.

  • Downgrade from Enterprise account to Professional account?

    Hello,
Today I'm working on company that have a newstand app with Adobe DPS + WoodWing, but there is an agency that made all the work for us. They have an Enterprise Account with an administrator user and receive all the billings. Our contract is ending I we want to take control of that account, our objective is to migrate that account to professional license and keep everything as it was. The problem is that the agency told us that they can't give us the administration access to that account since they have another clients under this same license.
I already contacted Adobe supporte before, they told me that is possible to migrate that user to a new professional license, but the agency told us that is not possible (since they have another clients under the same license - btw, that's even possible?). My two options are:
    Create a new professional license; update the app on Adobe Store linked with the new account (users will lost all they downloaded folios); Reupload all folios in the new account;
Agency should migrate just our user to a new license; users don't need to do anything, just update the app if we update it; Agency should transfer billing info to us; (better, if's possible)
    Any other ideia?
Btw, we will stop using WoodWing too.
    Thanks

  • Best procedure to downgrade a SQL Server 2012 SP2 installation from Enterprise edition to Standard edition

    Hi,
following a purpose change for a database server, I need to downgrade the SQL Server 2012 SP 2 installation from Enterprise to Standard edition.
Does it exist the best procedure to do it in a secure manner with a low impact?
    Many thanks

Please note that while you are downgrading by uninstalling and reinstalling and then restoring backup  taken from 2012 enterprise to standard , if backup contains data about used enterprise features you would not be able to restore the backup so BE
    CAREFUL.
You should , if possible, get a new box install SQL Server standard and try restoring backup if it fails disable enterprise features and again take backup and then you would be able to restore.

Tring 2 different network controller pci-e 16x - intellinet - startech pex100s systems freeze while loading bios; removing nic i can access uefi bios but i don't find any option to disable/enable pci-e slot (also disable uefi bios). Hi:
Yes, you can burn the files to a CD and use those to install the drivers you need.
You need to install the AMD Chipset and USB 3 drivers which are not on your notebook's support page.
    http://h20565.www2.hp.com/hpsc/swd/public/detail?swItemId=cp_117181_1
Download and install both of these drivers for the usb...

    Reboot after each installation.
PCI E/D Controller:  Not on your notebook's support page.
Run this file and then manually install the driver.
    http://h20565.www2.hp.com/hpsc/swd/public/detail?swItemId=vc_133833_1
To manually install the driver, go to the device manager and click on the PCI E/D Controller needing the driver.
Click on the driver tab, click on update driver.  Select the Browse my computer for driver software option and browse to the driver folder that was created when you ran the file.
That folder will be located in C:\SWSetup\sp66974.   Make sure the Include Subfolders box is checked and the driver should install.  Then reboot.
    Ethernet Controller:
Realtek Local Area Network (LAN) Driver
    File name: sp69625.exe
    PCI Device:
    Realtek Card Reader Driver
    File name: sp69619.exe
I don't know what model wireless card your model uses, so if you still need the wireless card driver (Network Controller), please do the following steps so I can figure that out and then I will post the link to the wireless card driver you need...
To find the hardware ID, go to the device manager and click on the device labeled Network Controller.
Then click on the Details tab at the top of the Network Controller window.
Now you see a Property drop down list and it is defaulted to Device Description.
Drop down on that list and select the second item (Hardware ID's).
Post the top string of characters you see in the window.

  • Error while installing SBO Server after downgrading from PL12 to PL04

    Hi,
Please help. I need to downgrade from SAP Business One 2005A PL12 to PL04. I removed all SBO components and deleted the SBO Common database.
When trying to install again, Server Tools installs ok, but the SBO Server installation fails.
    Anyone?
    Thanks,
    Jose

    Jose,
I am not sure of the error that you are currently getting, but a common issue that can case an install or re-install and issue is that you not only need to remove the SBO Common and company databases using the SQL Enterprise Manager, but you also need to and or should check that after deleting the databases through the Enterprise manager that they are still not residing on the hard disk.  You need to check and if needed delete these databases from the SQL\Data folder on the hard drive and then you should be able to re-install.  If you still have a problem, you should log a message with SAP Support as the forum you have posted your question in is for questions related to the Business One SDK.  The question you have posted is an installation question.

  • Failed to send emails from Enterprise

I am setting up a destination as email from Enterprise. But the instance failed with the error message:
    destination DLL disabled. CrystalEnterprise.Smtp:
Is this relevant with my setting for SMTP which I thought I set up according to email server admin, or could it be something else I should change?
    Thanks for help.

Do you have the email destination enabled for your server?  I'm using Edge, so I'm not exactly sure it is the same.  But I had to enable and configre "Email" as an option for a destination on my CrystalReportsJobServer.
    Hope that helps.

  • Windows XP Pro SP2 cd-rom after downgrading from Vista

    Hi everybody.
I successfully downgraded my T61p from Vista to XP Pro SP2 using the downgrade cd-roms send by Lenovo.
Everything seems to work well. I downloaded all drivers. No problem.
But I recently installed a rather old software that I frequently used on my old A31p. This software (a Microsoft program !) has automatically modified some files from XP Pro without any autorization.
Once it was done, I was asked by the system to insert the original Windows XP Pro SP2 cd-rom to repair this modification.
Of course, the (Vista to XP) downgrade cd-rom set was not recognized by the Thinkpad as the original XP set.
    An original cd-rom which I finally don't have !
I tried with an original XP Pro SP2 cd-rom bought a few years ago for my A31p. Unsuccessful.
Where could I find the XP Pro SP2 cd-rom corresponding to the downgraded system ?
Thanks for your help and suggestions.
    Regards.

    Thinkpad A31p - T42p - T61p - TP Tablet

    James,
    thanks for your answer.
But I wrote on my first post "I tried with an original XP Pro SP2 cd-rom bought a few years ago for my A31p. Unsuccessful."
Thus, I don't see any difference between an original Microsoft Windows XP2 Pro SP2 version cd-rom and one created by burning a downloaded version of the OS. An original was not recognized, what would a copy do ?
If possible, it might be probably better to create an XP Pro SP2 cd-rom from the "Rescue and Recovery" files which were reinstalled when downgrading from Vista to XP. (I hate the word "downgrade" : while I was doing it, I had the feeling I was upgrading my Thinkpad !)
I have been using for several years (and still use) an A31p (Since 2002, 8 to 10 hours a day) and a T42p. IMHO, the T61p is the same category of "great" notebooks. Thinkpads are really the best notebooks I have ever used. I noted no significant difference between IBM and Lenovo Thinkpads.

  • How Do I Downgrade From Windows Vista To XP On A 3000 N100 Series Notebook?

Hello. Here is the problem. I have Windows Vista Pre-loaded on my 3000 N100 Notebook, absolutely dislike this operating system and want to erase and load Windows XP. From reading other forum messages I have learned several things.
    1) The install disk On Windows XP Home & Professional will not recognize Sata Hard Drives, when it reaches the point of loading where it looks for the hard drive it "BOMBS OUT" with error messages.
    Several options are open .............
    1) Log into the BIOS, locate the SATA option, and change to compatibility mode.
    2) Have a USB external floppy connected with a Sata Driver on it and when installing Windows XP press the "F6" button when Windows asks for any external drivers you want to load.
Here is the problem with the 3000 N100 Notebook series..........
1)There is "NO SATA OPTION" in the BIOS of the 3000 N100 series notebooks to choose. In this model Lenovo stripped the BIOS down to the bare essentials.......and I Do Mean.... "BARE". The latest BIOS upgrade also has no Sata option. Why they did not offer at least this choice of downgrading to XP is beyond me. LENOVO..... I'm not impressed with your notebook.  As usual.... Microsoft has all vendors jumping to their tune..... Nothing but "VISTA" at this point in time. What if you hate it??????
    2) I have hunted all over the Lenovo Web Site for a "SATA DRIVER" that would work with a 3000 N100 Notebook, no such critter exists.  LENOVO..... Couldn't you have at least offered this????  I'M NOT IMPRESSED.
Has anyone been able to downgrade to Windows XP successfully on a 3000 N100 Series Notebook??? How Did You Do It?? Has Anyone Located A "SATA DRIVER" That Works???  IF So, Please Explain To Me Step-By-Step How I Can Get Rid of Vista and Load XP.
    Help........Help.......Help........Help......Help!!!!!!!!!!!
    Regards

Hello Himleung. Thank you for answering this message. Where did you find a "Sata Hard Drive Driver" that works?? Perhaps you could pass that along to this message forum in case someone else that has a 3000 N100 (may also work with the N200 series) Notebook wants to downgrade from Vista to Windows XP.
This is what baffles me to no end. The Lenovo web site has every driver you need to load Windows XP on the notebook.....**EXCEPT**..... the Sata HD Driver......**OR**...... the ability in BIOS to change to "compatability mode".  Duh!!!..... whats wrong with this story. I have never seen such a weak BIOS as the one in the 3000 N100. If I had known this I probably would have gone to another brand. They should have advertised this notebook as...... "Non-Geek Compatible".
Not knowing exactly how you could forward the driver to me I did the following....... I created a new Web email location that you could use to send the driver as an email attachment. The address is....... [email protected] This address will exist just long enough to obtain the driver..... and then......"Hasta-La-Vista" baby......end of story......as I do not want to be bombarded with ads, trash, or perhaps a virus of some sort..... although.....I'm SURE we have GREAT PEOPLE on this message center.
I'm not familiar with the "NLITE" program you mentioned. Again....perhaps you could mention where I can get it and what I need to do to set the program up to run the driver.
    Thanks again, Himleung.

  • Is there a way to downgrade from iOS 5.1.1 to iOS 4.1 without any unauthorised modifications (e.g. jailbreaking)?

I found this piece of information: http://osxdaily.com/2012/06/18/downgrade-ios-6-beta-to-ios-5/ Yes, it's about downgrading from iOS 6 beta, not iOS 6, but the way to downgrade to a previous version of iOS is basically the same.
I have an iPhone 4 running iOS 5.1.1 and an iPod touch 4 running iOS 5.1.1 as well. None of them is 'jailbroken'. I upgraded my iPod touch to iOS 6 for exploring it a bit more and reverted back to iOS 5.1.1. How? I did it the way stated by the website I mentioned above: just by Option-Clicking the 'Restore' button on iTunes and select the iOS 5.1.1 software. No need to enter recovery mode or DFU mode whatsoever.
In fact, Apple doesn't allow users to downgrade to a previous version of iOS: 'Downgrading to a previous version of iOS is not supported.' (http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3694) The reason why I could downgrade from iOS 6 to iOS 5.1.1 may be, as the above website said, 'Typically you can’t downgrade iOS versions so easily, but because Apple is still signing iOS 5.1.1 this allows downgrading to commence with minimal effort.'
I was wondering whether I could revert all the way from iOS 5.1.1 to iOS 4.1 (the version that was shipped along with the launch of the iPod touch 4 in September 2010). (for experimental purposes)
I downloaded the iOS 4.1 (a list of iOS software: http://osxdaily.com/2010/10/30/download-ipod-touch-firmware-ipsw/) and tried Option-Clicking when restoring this iOS 4.1 — no luck. iTunes said 'This device is not eligible for the requested build'. And I did a bit of research and found that there are ways to downgrade from iOS 5.1.1 to iOS 4.1, but it seems you have to jailbreak the device, which is complicated and I don't want to do.
So, is there a way to downgrade from iOS 5.1.1 to iOS 4.1 without any unauthorised modifications (e.g. jailbreaking)? Thanks in advance.

No, downgrading from any version of iOS to an earlier version is not supported.

  • Is it still possible to downgrade from ios 6 to ios 5.1.1 on my ipod touch 4th gen as of Sept.24?Also, if I use a backup created AFTER updating to ios 6 when I restore/downgrade to ios 5.1.1, does it become ios 6 again because of the backup?

Is it still possible to downgrade from ios 6 to ios 5.1.1 on my ipod touch 4th gen as of Sept.24? Also, if I use a backup created AFTER updating to ios 6, when I restore/downgrade to ios 5.1.1, does it become ios 6 again because of the version of ios 6 that I created the backup on?

There has never been a legit way to downgrade.
It will always restore to the latest available software.

  • Error in creating new listener from Enterprise Mgr Console

When I try to create a new listener from Enterprise Manager Console, it displays an error message: Error in getting data for creating new listener. Check if the listener.ora location "/u01/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/db_1/network/admin" is a valid one. It is absolutely a valid ORACLE_HOME, in fact, I can setup TNS Connect Alias and Profiles from here, but the listener has became a pain in the neck.
I know I can use the java netmgr or netca or even vi to set it up; however, it is a must that it has to be done through Enterprise Manager Console (show EM manageability issues).
    Thanks for your feedback

Credentials are valid, so the ORACLE_HOME path, otherwise I would not have been able to modify the other TNSNAMES.ORA and SQLNET.ORA.
I use the ORACLE_HOME owner credentials (oracle user at the OS level).
