Downgrade iCloud without an IOS device or PC?

I no longer have an IOS device nor PC (in which I have install rights on). I want to cancel/downgrade my iCloud account before my credit card gets billed.
I have been in contact with a CS rep for iTunes and they keep referring me to the iCloud help site, which only offers me the option to downgrade through the PC software or through my IOS device. I only own an Android device, and my work PC does not allow me to install any software. I have looked through my online iCloud account and see no option to downgrade my account.
Surely Apple has a way for me to do this online or by phone? The iTunes CS rep seems to have no idea on how I can do this.
Is my only option through my credit card company?

No. I upgraded for extra storage when I had my iPhone.
I will be charged $20 in about a week or so to my credit card for the additional storage and I want to stop Apple from doing this.

  • HT4436 Can I use iCloud without my iOS device?

    It doesn't seem to work...

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
What exactly are you trying to do.

  • Can I search email archive on iCloud server from iOS device, or can I only search what it has downloaded locally?

Can I search email archive on iCloud server from iOS device, or can I only search what it has downloaded locally?
I currently have an iPhone and iPad, and am soon changing over to a Mac. When that happen I'd like to try to see what I can migrate over from the Google ecosystem to the iCloud ecosystem.
    1) Currently I have the Gmail iOS app (a webapp container) that can search server-side of several years of email archive.  Can iCloud do this using the iOS native mail application?  Or is the search just limited to what the device has downloaded locally?
    2) Do I have to use a @me.com address for the full iCloud email sync to take place between server, Mac, and iOS devices?
Believe it or not I've read quite a bit about the iCloud services, but the answers to these questions were far from clear.  Many thanks for the help.

    2)  iCloud only syncs email between .me/.mac addresses.  For other accounts like google, you set up the account in the mail app and if they're IMAP accounts, you can sync between the google server and any devices you have defined that account on.
I'm not absolutely sure about 1) since I haven't had to search going back years - I use MailSteward for that on the mac.  On my iPhone/iPad, when I go into a mailbox and the emails are not immediately available, it downloads them.  I suspect for a search, you need the emails downloaded.

  • How can i create an icloud accout without any iOS device or Mac?

I do not have an iOS device nor do I have a Mac. I would like to view other persons Photostream. When I download the iCloud 2.1.1 (for windows) I am being asked to sign in with my apple ID. When I enter it, I am being told that the apple ID is correct, but that this is not an iCloud account. From here I don't know how to continue.

    You can't.

  • HT5927 Using apple configurator with supervised devises, enabling iCloud/ find my iOS device (after being supervised), backing up that supervised / find my iPhone enabled image, --issue; unable to apply back up to any iOS device (including the orign. devi

    Senario:
Need to manage 500 Enterprise iPads
    Requirements;
    1) Trackable via Find my iOS device  (we have 500 iPads and with the 100 device limit per iCloud account for Find my iOS device limit we have 5+ iCloud accounts).
    2) Individually named iPads for locating and sending commands to wipe, lost mode, etc.. on map per Find my iOS device (we uniquely name them in Apple Configurator either by using the "sequensetially numbering feature", or by creating individual back ups (yes, 450) with the name specified in the image).
    3) Find my iOS device feature enabled in base Prepared or Supervised image (using one of our 5+ iCloud accounts) (image can be created during prepared stage, or in supervised stage) - tried both and have the same issue - which I am getting to...
    4) VPP codes for paid apps (all VPP codes purchased with generic account which is the Apple Admin account for VPP purchases). Apple Configurator is set up under a different/ unique Apple account (i.e. not VPP admin account) and not logged into iTunes for any purchases/ services).
    Issue: Can not do any following senarios;
    A)
         1) configure master iOS 7 iPad with iCloud account with Find my iOS feature enabled in Prepare stage (added during preparing stage)
         2) configure master iOS 7 iPad with iCloud account with Find my iOS feature enabled in Supervised stage (added after supervising, and then backing up that supervised and iOS Find my iOS device enabled)
    B) 1) Apply master image to any Supervised iPad (under senario step A) or senario step B)), including the (Supervised or/ Prepared iPad that was used to create the maset iOS 7 image
Result = fail with Apple generic code "4" ; This is obviously due to Find my iOS device feature enabled during image capture.
According to Apple (see Apple Config. Help) the 'Activation lock' (new feature in iOS 7) will not be enabled on a supervised device when an iCloud account with "Find my iDevice" is enabled. Their "help files" seem to imply after the device is Supervised, and a person (presumably and end user) adds thier own iCloud account with Find my iOS device enabled the activation lock is not enabled and erasing/ reconfiguring with Apple Configurator will not cause reimaging probhlems such as requiring the end user's credentials to reconfigure the device using Apple Configurator (i.e. you won't need the end user's credentials).
Needed: To be able to configure Supervised iPads with iCloud account (Enterprised owned iCloud account) configured on the basse image, which has Find my iOS device enabled, and to be able to apply that base image to all Enterprise iPads without generic apple error code 4 issue.

    Hi all
I am trying to replicate these steps in my environment but I am having trouble getting an iCloud backup restored to a supervised device. Can someone clarify the steps? The parts I am unsure on are:
    1) Do you Prepare in Configurator with all the institution owned apps? Or do you install them after restoring the iCloud backup?
    2) After entering the personal AppleID to restore the iCloud backup, the setup wizard prompts for the Institution/Configurator AppleID, there is an option to 'Skip Now'. Do you enter in the password for the institution account? or do you skip that step?
    3) What exactly is on the screen in the 'mini setup assistant' after the restore when you Refresh with Configurator?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  • Browse icloud drive on ios device?

Is there a way to browse the files and folders of my iCloud drive from my ios device, without opening a specific app like pages, or numbers?
I am looking to browse and open PDF's mostly. I am just wondering if there is an Apple app out there that gives similar accessibility as drop-box or how the old mac file sharing system worked where you could access all you files in the directory from any device.
It seems like the icloud drive is great for files from apple apps, but for everything else it is a bit more cumbersome to access the file directory on ios devices.
    thanks!

    Hello Woodsen,
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
The FAQ for iCloud Drive has the following information on your question:
How do I access all my files in iCloud Drive?
You can access your files in iCloud Drive any of these ways:
Using any supported web browser, you can go to iCloud Drive or iWork for iCloud beta at iCloud.com. In iWork for iCloud beta, you can find your Pages, Numbers, and Keynote files.
On your Mac with OS X Yosemite, you can go to iCloud Drive in Finder.
On your PC with Windows 7 or later and iCloud for Windows, you can go to iCloud Drive in File Explorer.
On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 8, you can access your files from Apple apps like Pages, Numbers, and Keynote, or any apps that support iCloud Drive.

  • HT4436 can i sign up to icloud without an iOS

can i sign up to icloud without iOS

To create a new icloud account, go to
    http://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/
If you already have an account, then using a browser log into icloud.com.  You don't need an iOS device.

  • Multiple iCloud accounts, single iOS device.

I have one Apple ID, and only one iOS device - a 4th generation iPod touch. Can I setup multiple iCloud accounts? If so, how?

You can create a maximum of three iCloud accounts on each device.  You can create two additional "secondary accounts" by going to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Add Account>iCloud and sign in with two new Apple IDs.
Secondary accounts will only sync mail, contacts, calendars, reminders and notes.  The can't be used for be used for iCloud Bookmarks, Photo Stream, Documents and Data, iCloud Backup or Find My iPod.  Also, mail in secondary accounts will be fetch only, not push.

  • With iCloud activated on iOS devices, how do I manage syncing with iTunes?

Guess it's time to take a class at the Apple Store (there's an app for that)
    Two Questions:
    Question 1
I have turned on iCloud in my iPad and iPhone5 for contacts, calendars, reminders, Safari, Passbook (iPhone only), and Find my iPhone/iPad.
I am not using iCloud for backups, email or photo stream because for many reasons I choose to avoid WiFi.In the iPhone User guide (page 57) it says, "if you use iCloud to store your contacts, calendars.....don't also sync them to your device using iTunes."
When I set up the devices in iTunes, i checked "Automatically sync contacts, calendrs, bnookmarks, notes and email."  Now I want to modify that setup.  However, if I simply plug in the devices to the computer I'm going to get an automatic sync and I understand that can unnecessarily duplicate data.
    How to resolve this?
Can I just turn OFF the iCloud features on each device, attach the device to the computer, and reconfigure iTunes to stop the auto-sync of the contacts, etc.?  Then after ejecting the device, I turn the iCloud features back ON?
    Question 2
I've been downloading apps, music, and books in iTunes and then syncing them to my devices.  How does this change with iCloud?
On each device I've gone into Settings-Store and activated Automatic downloads of Music, Apps, Books.
Now, when I go to my PC and log in to iTunes to order an app, book, music, do I still have to attach each device to the computer in order to obtain the downloads?
What about apps I obtain directly from a device?

For your first issue, without connecting your iPad open iTunes on your computer and go to Preferences and on the Devices tab check "Prevent...from syncing automatically".  This will disable automatic syncing when you connect your iPad, allowing you to change your settings without syncing.  Next, connect your iPad, click on the name of your iPad on the left side of iTunes and to to the Info tab and uncheck the data you no longer want to sync with iTunes (such as contacts and calendars).  When done making you changes, click Apply at the bottom (this will sync your phone with the new settings).  If you prefer, you can then go back to iTunes preferences and re-enable automatic syncing.
You will continue to sync your iTunes media such as music and apps with iTunes as you did before.  These are not stored or synced with iCloud (although you can redownload media purchased from the iTuens and app stores in the future if you need to; however, this has nothing to do with your iCloud account).
If you have enabled automatic downloads for your Apple ID, when you purchase apps, music or books in iTunes using this Apple ID it will automatically be downloaded to your iPad.  If you purchase them on your iPad, they will be automatically added to your iTunes library when you sync your iPad.

  • Is there any way to access a PDF in iCloud on an iOS device?

After a PDF has been saved in iCloud, is there any way to access it from an iOS device (iPad)?

No, you can only view it from a Mac that is signed into your account.

  • HT204150 iCloud Contacts with iOS devices

I've tried each step under "Troubleshooting iCloud Contacts update or setup issues with iOS devices" several times to no avail.  I can't get icloud to update Contacts on my iPhone 4.  Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
First check that all your settings are correct, that contact syncing is checked on all devices (system preferences > iCloud on a mac and settings > iCloud on a iPhone, iPad or iPod).
Make sure the contacts you are adding are added to your 'iCloud' group and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud group (you can do this by checking in groups), non iCloud contacts will not sync.
If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your contacts are in the iCloud group, you might try unchecking contact syncing in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling contact syncing.

  • How do I access iwork for ios docs stored in icloud on all ios devices

How do I access ios-iwork icloud docs on all my ios devices?
ios 7.1.2 on all ios devices. Have zero access to my icloud docs on mobile devices since ios 7.0.

Make sure you are signed in to iCloud using the same AppleID as used for the files.
Settings app > iCloud > Documents&Data. Make sure each of the iWorks apps is turned on.
Go to the settings for each app and make sure (Use iCloud)
For 2 or 3 above, if they are already on, turn them off and then back on.

  • ICloud syncs to iOS devices but not OSX devices on my home network.

While setting up Photostream, I discovered that iCloud does not seem to push to OSX devices, but it does to iOS devices.
For example, I set up Aperture on my MacPro.  I enabled Photostream on my iPhone, iPad, and Mac.  When I take a photo on my iPhone, Photostream automatically pulls it to my iPad.  On my Mac, nothing happens.  All devices are on the same network.
Looking more into this, I tested my iCal sync, and that also does not push.  I can "Refresh" the calendars and it finds them, but it will not push.
    It is important to know...
    1.  My mac WILL sync Photostream if I disable and re-enable it, or if I disconnect my internet and reconnect it.  It just doesnt automatically sync - even after hours.
    2.  My brother came over with his MacBook Pro and iPhone.  His MacBook Pro has the exact same behavior as mine.
    3.  I have tried:
-Creating a new user on my computer and trying there.
-Opening up router port 5223 and set it to forward to my MacPro.  No success.
-Using iPhoto to sync Photostream - no go.
         -Resetting Photostream.
Please help!!!  This issue defeats the entire purpose of Photostream for me!
    Thanks,
    Adam

Yes this worked perfectly, there is a tense moment when all your calendar appointments disappear, but once you sign and restart calendar, they all reappear.
    Thanks Csound1!

  • How do i permanently get my music from iCloud to my IOS device

I want to be able to listen to my music on planes or where there is no internet. How do I permanently download all my music to my devices?

    I have this question, too.
There has to be a better (ie, easier) way than clicking each-and-every song individually to start the download. But all of my searches (and I'm usually pretty good at ferretting out answers) have come up null.
So -- how do you "select all" and download from iCloud to your hard drive (laptop, not iOS device) with one click?
    TIA

  • Need help getting songs from iTunes to iCloud and to ios devices.

I just added some CDs onto my iTunes account on my MacBook and they won't transfer to my iPhone or iPad.  The titles of the songs show up on my IOS devices within the Music app but they are grayed out and won't play. I'm using iCloud and Music Match. Hopefully something simple.  Thanks in advance for your help!

UPDATE - 20 minutes at the Genius Bar and it was resolved.  The tech that helped me out had never seen anything like it before but he and another tech starting looking up stuff on one of the iPads that they have which provides them with solutions to all kinds of problems.  He tried a few things on my Mac and then kept switching pages on his iPad for solutions.  I'm guessing it said "try this and if that doesn't work then go to the next step".  Eventually he got it to work so obviously there is a "fix" out there for issues related to iMatch, iCloud, and the Moutain Lion update.
I asked him what all he did to fix it but he said it was too complicated to explain even though it was very simple.  Oh well, rest assured that it can be corrected and hopefully someone will be able to post the fix on here so as to save people trips to an Apple Store.  One last thing, nothing had to be removed or reloaded in my iTunes account.  I hope this helps you out some.
