I wanna downgrade my iPhone 4s 16GB Black from iOS 8.1.2 to the newest iOS 6. How? Do I have to downgrade first to iOS 7? And were can i download it? (I allready have a backup for iOS 8.1.2)

I think that is clear. I mean, Apple is allways bringing for older Phones Updates, that the old Phones making lagging. And yeah.. :/. And can i downgrade it to iOS 7?

I was wondering whether I could revert all the way from iOS 5.1.1 to iOS 4.1 (the version that was shipped along with the launch of the iPod touch 4 in September 2010). (for experimental purposes)
I downloaded the iOS 4.1 (a list of iOS software: http://osxdaily.com/2010/10/30/download-ipod-touch-firmware-ipsw/) and tried Option-Clicking when restoring this iOS 4.1 — no luck. iTunes said 'This device is not eligible for the requested build'. No, downgrading from any version of iOS to an earlier version is not supported.

I think the best iOS version for iPad mini 1st gen was 7.1.2.
I use my iPad with music production software and still it was on 7.1.2 I got no problems, but now I'm in trouble using AudioBus for memory problems when I record to a DAW. Synth softwares are laggy, many crack here and there, like it has no more power to reproduce all the voices I need.
Really the only way is the jailbreak? 8.1.1 is not optimized for older devices: the update had to be not released through iTunes.

Can you restore from backup? That would be best to keep all your stuff. You can find usually several versions under restore option in iTunes. I really hope you have one of those iOS7 versions backed up to iTunes.
If you really want to start over, and I mean no contacts, photos, music, apps, anything but factory settings that aren't in the cloud or in one of the restore options. You can search ios 7.1.2 firmware and download it and install by shift click restore and choose the file you downloaded. But that is a really desperate act. But this also requires iTunes and if you've been using iTunes you probably have a backup.

Downgrade iOS 8.0.2 to iOS 7.1.2

My Device is 5C. I upgraded by iOS 7.1.2 to 8.0.2. After the update my phone seems to get a lot of problems. I have these problems:
1. In between the phone displays a translucent screen and no functions work. where I have to restart the phone. This happens once in two days.
2. Sound is not clear and louder as compared to iOS 7
3. Phone gets hang in between
4. Even if I dont use any apps, the RAM usage is very high (recorded 93% in CM Security app).
5. Wifi connection gets stopped in between. This creates problem while streaming video
6. Sometimes in between phone gets restarted automatically.
7. Poor performance in apps and games.
8. Totally unusable, Makes me think Chinese Mobiles are far better.
I wanted to get my phone in old condition where I can use my phone as an IPHONE and not as a device of 18th Century. I prefer downgrading. But Apple has stopped it, which made me think to open up a mail for you. Please let me know your suggestions on what I can do to overcome the problems.

Apple does not support downgrading the iOS. First thing you can try is to update to the current latest version of iOS 8. That is iOS 8.1.
Then I suggest you start a new question that gives a good title to a specific problem. Then in the body of the thread describe the problem in detail, tell us what steps you have tried so far to correct the problem, what happened, and what error messages you received.

You can't downgrade the iOS level.
Try using Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

There is no reason to be running beta software, I doubt it will even still run as iOS 6 has been officially released. Or were you simply trying to be funny?
Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.
