I m having problem with Switching Mobile wifi hotspot on.
It gives the error saying "Mobile Hotspot Unavailable ... Regulations in this country prohibit Mobile Hotspot Usage" while Wifi-Hotspot on my other mobiles are working properly
This problem is right after I updated my mobile OS version a few days back and I don't have backup for the old version

I am using ArcGIS 10 and Firefox 6 on Windows XP.

Thanks for the reply. It doesn't have to process the php, it just has to show the HTML content. It did that just fine before the last upgrade but won't now.

It doesn't help. The things it says to look for aren't there for me, specifically:
browser.download.pluginOverrideTypes
plugin.disable_full_page_plugin_for_types
I followed the rest of the instructions but it didn't help.
I did get it to quit opening tabs, instead it prompts me what it should do with the file every time now. What it should do, and used to do, is open the php page and display the HTML content.
Any other ideas?

You are not likely to be able to convert your CS4 license/version from Windows to Mac. Platform conversions are only supported for current releases, which would be CS6. Creative Cloud subscriptions allow for either or both platforms to be supported.

Except for iPod touch (which runs iOS), each iPod model has different software. The version number doesn't really matter between different iPod models. The latest version of software for each iPod model is installed by iTunes.
Connect your iPod. In iTunes, select the iPod in the sidebar, under DEVICES. Over to the right, go to the Summary tab. You should see a button there that says Check for Update. Click it. If there is an update available for your iPod model, it will be installed. If not, you already have the latest version of software for your iPod model.

Z10 Middle East & Africa Versions STL-100-1

For those of you in these regions still unsure about buying a Z10...dont.
Blackberry and the carriers who support them failed to mention that ALL blackberry's sold outside of the US and Europe are STL-100-1 versions, which among other things, do not have LTE (4G) support, and are visibly and noticeably slower than their US/Europe counterparts. (about 25-35% slower infact, google Z10 STL-100-1 vs STL-100-2 for more information).
I'd just like to say that I'm disgusted with Blackberry having kept this almost entirely under the carpet, particularly in that those who purchased a Z10 in one of these regions paid THE SAME cost as those who purchased the superior versions that are LTE enabled and come with the faster hardware setup. I.e. $800 for something that slows down when browsing basic webpages, or flicking one app to another. Had I not googled "why is my BB z10 slowing down a lot on basic things" and, to my horror, found out why, I would have been none the wiser.
I hope the extra $$ was worth it BB, you've lost a customer for life and hopefully I've helped a few others avoid your overpriced, missold piece of junk. I only hope the Q10 is a dysmal failure and your company finally goes under where it belongs.

I too for one thought that all Z10s were the same... Since they are priced the same... And no where is it mentioned that BlackBerry would be releasing the Z10 in 4 different models and what are the specs of those models... My question is also the same... Why was I charged the same as other models when mine is not as good as theirs... It is like you charge me for a quad core but give me a quad core... Which is 1Ghz while others you give 2Ghz... Why??? And why weren't we told about this... From now on when ever a new bb is released I will wait till I know for sure that which versions are released (hardware) and which version is available in my region... And if the best is not available in my region I will not buy... you BB are going to loose customers... but I must admit... It's a great way to make cheap money... But you will only make it once... If that way your goal... Bravo... You achieved it... If that wasn't your goal, then you **Bleep** off big time... At least you could have said at the release that you would be releasing 4 versions and this version which is the most pathetic of the lot will be for the most pathetic region (as per your evaluation) of the world... and the best of the lot will be for the A market... The developed world and the USA... It tells me that you at BlackBerry do not consider all your customers equal, although you charge them equally... What a duality in treatment.
Now please don't give me the **bleep** about services which are not available in these developing countries... Do we see other phone manufacturers striping down their hardware and putting them up for sale in these regions for the same price as the full version... NO... And if these technology are available in these region in the future will Blackberry then recall all the Z10s from these markets and give their customers the A lot in exchange free of cost for the D lot which is now being offered to them???

PDDocSaveWithParams does not change PDF version from 1.8 (Acrobat 9, Acrobat X) to 1.4

Our customers prepare documents to be presented at regulatory authorities, and it is required that these documents have PDF Version 1.4, are linearized, etc. In a plug-in we change the document properties accordingly. This used to work fine with Acrobat versions from 6 to 9. Then came Acrobat X.
We detected the problem with a document created with Acrobat PDFMaker 10.0 for Word: a very simple 1-page 3-lines document with no Acrobat X features.
When using Acrobat X, after calling PDDocSaveWithParams, the PDF version was not changed as required. (We check this calling PDDocGetVersion from the plugin after saving.)
Doing the same conversion with Acrobat 9 seemed to be OK: PDDocGetVersion reported PDF Version 1.4.
But when opening the converted document in Acrobat X, it still reported "PDF Version: 1.7 Extension Level 8 (Acrobat X.x)".
Opening it in a text editor showed that the header was "%PDF-1.4", but it still had "<</Extensions<</ADBE<</BaseVersion/1.7/ExtensionLevel 8>>>>..."
With Acrobat 8 and below, the version could not be downgraded, but this was reported correctly.
Downgrading the version directly via the "Optimize" function of Acrobat X worked.
I could not test Acrobat 9, since I have no Professional version available.
In Acrobat 8 Prof, I saw the message "This file appears to use a new format that this version of Acrobat does not support.", and the "Optimize" function was disabled.
Now I have the following questions:
(1) Is it a known problem that PDDocSaveWithParams does not downgrade the version with Acrobat X ?
(2) Is it a known problem that PDDocSaveWithParams does not downgrade correctly with Acrobat 9 ?
(3) Is it a known problem that Acrobat9 wrongly reports the PDF Version of the document, in this case ?
(4) Why is downgrading (or optimizing) disabled for Acrobat 8 and below ?

Remember that as of PDF 1.4, the version number in the PDF header can be overridden via a /Version key in the /Catalog dictionary. In addition, the presence of an /Extension dictionary (ISO 32000-1) will also override the header version.
The header version is JUST A HINT - it is NOT a guarantee of any sort.
Based on both of the above, neither of your "bugs" are bugs.
Acrobat 9 (and I assume X as well) are reporting correctly. If you have a PDF that you believe IS being reported incorrectly, please post!
If the Extensions dict is present, the Save command will NOT override it since it takes precedence.

Hi, i was wondering if you guys would assist me with downgrading my wii from version 4.3u to 4.1u. It seems i accidently installed the latest update without any real knowledge of the problem it seemed to cause. See im trying to install the Homebrew channal, apparently you can not if you have version 4.3 and there is a way to downgrade back to 4.1 on a youtube vid and i just cant seem to figure this out... So i was wondering if you guys could possibly help me or if i could possibly trade my perfectly working Wii for another similar wii without the 4.3 update. Please respond

thanks for ur reply, but is there any way to downgrade the oracle client from 11g to 10gon server there more database so that we cannot unistall.
I believe you Install 11g client software on client machine, if its so you can safely uninstall it and Install 10g again.
If this 11g Installation configured on server with a database its a different scenario.
You question is not clear. Please elaborate it...
Also i dont think there is no such option for downgrading client.

My guess is the 30-day trial period has expired but you didn't remove the trial before installing the full version. The files to delete are the iWork ’09 folder from the main HD > Applications; the iWork ’09 folder in HD > Library > Application Support & the individual iWork application plist files found in HD > Users > (your account) > Library > Preferences for each user.
Yvan Koenig has written an AppleScript that removes the files. You can find it on his iDisk in For_iWork > iWork '09 > uninstall iWork '09.zip.

I have a brand new iphone 4s unlocked version from singapore and I am experiencing constant network fluctuations on my iphone , no service, call failed, invalid sim, sim failure, bars fluctuating from 5 - 3 - 2 - 1, no signal/bars searching etc... Ifeel miserable after trying out all the options changed multiple sims, tried multiple carriers, restored the phone back and have set-up as new device but the problem does not get solved... its is so frustrating that after investing on a world's most expensive phone you cannot enjoy the calling features which the phone offers which is the main thing you own the phone for.. Rest of the things are working.. The funniest part I am not able to make calls or receive calls but can access the internet.. I have tried every possible thing and really very frustrated with this iphone of mine...I hope the problem gets solved.. would anyone have any solutions to this problem.. Does it mean one should never update software as I hear that after updating to IOS.5.1 the problem has started coming and same has been with there.... Apple says its a hardware failure which is very difficult to digest as sometimes I get 5 bars and able to make and receive calls but 95% of the time I am unable to. If anyone has any solution I will be very happy if he or share can share the same. Many thanks. its so disgusting to experience this on top of this apple does not support global warranty for the phone as you need to go to the country from where you bought the phone for replacement..
