Downgrade to previous version of PP-CC 2014

Hi everyone
is there a way to downgrade from version 8.1.0 to the immediately previous release, the one of June 2014?
I'm using kinda old version of OSX (10.7.5) 'cause i need it this way, and after updating to the newer version of PPCC it asks me to update my videocard drivers, that are fully updated... the problem is that now premiere looks like a Commodore 64, and simply shows me what it wants, and not what i need.
if someone could help me out, it would be very nice.. thnx
g.

The link John provided shows how to get back to 8.0.0. To get back to 8.0.1, please contact customer support and ask for a link to download the 8.0.1 installer: Contact Customer Care

Check that the Bookmarks Toolbar is visible and that the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is still placed on the Bookmarks Toolbar.
If the menu bar is hidden then press F10 or hold down the Alt key, that should make the "Menu Bar" appear.
Make sure that toolbars like the "Navigation Toolbar" and the "Bookmarks Toolbar" are visible: "View > Toolbars"
    * Open the Customize window via "View > Toolbars > Customize" or via "Firefox > Options > Toolbar Layout" (Linux, Windows)
    * Check that the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is on the Bookmarks Toolbar
    * If the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is not on the Bookmarks Toolbar then drag it back from the toolbar palette in the customize window to the Bookmarks Toolbar
    * If you do not see the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" or other items that are missing in the toolbar palette or on a toolbar then click the "Restore Default Set" button

  • Opening projects in CC 2014.2 created in previous version of premiere cc 2014

    Hello,
I just upgraded premiere cc 2014 to premiere cc 2014.2. When I try to open my project created in the last version of cc 2014 I am instructed to convert the project created in the previous version of premiere so it can be opened in premiere cc 2014.2 When I convert the project it will open in cc 2014.2 but the sequences don't come with it. I need to have access to the original sequence so I don't have to edit the project again. Thanks for your help.

  • Easy method to downgrade to previous version of the firmware

    Hi All,
I was having all sort of problems after upgrading to version 4. I am not comfortable with all the SSH editing but I got help from the WD support team to downgrade with minimal SSH work. It's pretty easy.
    Here are the instructions:
Download the following firmware version and unzip the .deb file (File sq-030401-230-20140415.deb.zip)  http://download.wdc.com/nas/sq-030401-230-20140415.deb.zip
Then download Winscp and install it: http://winscp.net/eng/download.php
You need to "turn on SSH" from Settings > Network in Wd My Cloud web interface.
Now run Winscp program you have installed earlier. In the Login window
    > select "SFTP" in File protocol dropdown
    > Enter your My Cloud IP adress in the host name
    > The default usename is root and password is welc0me (its the number 0 in welcome and not letter O)
Once you login you will see 2 panes in the window.
    >Go to the right pane and naviagte to the folder "etc".
    >Once in the "etc" folder scroll down to the bottom and you will see a file called "version".
    >Double click to ope the file and change the version name to 03.04.01-219 and save the file.
Thats all the SSH work. Now close and exit Winscp application.
Reboot My Cloud. (Settings > Utilities > Device Maintenance > Reboot)
After it has rebooted go into settings > firmware and click on "select from file". Naigate to the sq-030401-230-20140415..deb file you have downloaded earlier and update.
DONE. Now you will be running the previous version. Bye Bye buggy frustating version 4.
MKAE SURE TO TURN OFF AUTO UPDATE FIRMWARE.
PS: It worked for me so hopfully it will work for others also. I am a noob, can some experts check it and provide feedback.
Just to let you know  - try it at your own risk. I can't be held responsible if something goes wrong during the process.
    [Edit - Bill_S]
Note: Users, please be aware that making changes to your drive through SSH can void your warranty.

What a difference, I just installed the MyCloud a week ago and it updated the 4.xx firmware immediatly so I couldn't see what difference it was with the previous one. Downgraded as per your instructions and the device is A LOT more responsive, faster in access and in it's interface.... Only must find out how to disable the constant database update for pics because I have 2 webcams attached over FTP so the disk is always updating the database but I will find out. The method as described in another posting here didn't work for me but the downgrade is working a lot better so MANY thanks for the help!!! Too bad WD won't admitt something went bad with the 4.xx firmware upgrade since so many users have problems with it.They should replace it immediatly with the old version and call it 5.xx  Regards and thanks again.

  • How do i downgrade to previous version of logic pro x

Im asking cause the 10.0.5 verson does crazy delay problems, cant bounce with virus ti2 polar.. well just crazy.. I need to try a previous version of logic pro x to check..

You can only do that if you have a backup of an older version. In that case: just replace the application.

  • Firefox 5 not compatible with windows 7 apparently!! Need to downgrade to previous version. Computer crashes using ff but nothing else.

Microsoft's site says firefox 3 is compatible with windows 7. however, i've upgraded to firefox 5 and now system crashes to the blue screen.

I have a laptop running Firefox 5.0 on Windows 7 and don't have problem with it.
What I suggest you do in the first instance is to start Windows 7 using the '''Last Known Good Configuration''' which will load the operating system the last time it worked properly, instructions here: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Using-Last-Known-Good-Configuration
    Then do the following.<br><br>
#Use Internet Explorer to download Firefox from here: [http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/fx/?ref=logo Download Firefox 5.0.1] and choose "'''Save'''" when you see the prompt and save it to your desktop. ''Do not choose "Run"''.<br><br>
#Next, uninstall the version you have at the moment via "Programs and Features" in Control Panel choosing to keep your bookmarks, customizations etc., (''don't checkmark the box'').<br><br>
    #Next, reboot.<br><br>
#When the system boots to the desktop, delete the folder called "Mozilla Firefox" at this location: C:\Program Files\ <br><br>
#Run the installation file you downloaded earlier.<br>
Your bookmarks, customizations etc., are maintained in a different location and will become available to you again once you complete the installation.<br><br>
I don't know if your bookmarks can be retrieved or not, but the following procedure can be used to make a backup should they still be available.<br><br>
    #Press CTRL+SHIFT+B to open the Bookmarks manager.<br><br>
#Click the link to '''Import and Backup '''and then click '''Export HTML '''and save the file somewhere.
You can use the same Bookmarks Manager to import the file you saved by choosing "Import HTML" should that prove to be necessary.

  • Downgrade to previous version of iTunes

I find the latest version of iTunes, particularly the horrible new store, user hostile and simply a maddening experience. Is there anyway to get an older, and actually useful version of iTunes back on my iMac?
If not, any suggestions for giving my business to another company that understands what Apple used to, and that is a simple, intuitive, user experience?

even if you roll back to an older iTunes software version, the +new store+ look won't change.
This doesn't seem to be true; I'm using iTunes 8, and the store looks no different. As I browse through music, I do see places that say "Some items on this page may require an upgrade to the latest version of iTunes," but there are no other differences.

  • How do you downgrade to a previous version of firefox?

How do you down grade to a previous version of Firefox on an Android Phone? Current versions of Firefox no longer work with our WIFI network. Starting sometime around version 33 or 34 we started noticing that while using WIFI, Firefox would freeze every minute or two. Basically it would start to load a page then the progress bar would stop about 1/6th of the way across the screen. If you wait several minutes the bar would continue to about 5/6th of the way across the screen and then stop and not continue to load the page. If you turn WIFI off and then back on, Firefox will again work for a minute or two then freeze again. The timing is very specific and is not bound by a number of clicks. It also happens on all websites. The problem is not with the WIFI network because all programs including Chrome and the Android Browser work fine with WIFI. Also previous versions of Firefox work fine with the WIFI. We have the problem across several phone and manufacture types as well as across Android versions. We also did not have the freezing problem during a time of lower WIFI usage. So the problem specifically has to do with using newer versions of Firefox on a busy WIFI network. Because it may take time to fix these issues in Firefox we would like to downgrade to a previous version of Firefox that we know works with our WIFI network.
    Thanks for your help!
    Ken

    Hi Roland
Here are the answers to your questions:
What models of Android tablets and phones are you using?
Samsung Note 4 (running Android 5.0.1), Samsung Rugby Pro (Running Android 4.1.2), Galaxy S5 Active (running Android 4.4.4) & Kyocera-E6560 (Running Android 4.4.2). There are others, but these are the ones I have access to right now.
What version of Firefox for Android are you using?
I started noticing the problem with version 34 on. It could have started with earlier versions but I first noticed it with version 34--we did a large phone upgrade and installed version 34 which was the current version at the time. I just tried 37.02 and am still having the problem.
As a side note I have an old Samsung note 1 (on Android 3.0.8). It is running Version 17 of Firefox and does not have the same problem.
Steps to reproduce: What did you do exactly, what happened and what did you expect?
For instance if I do a Google search trying to research something I type in the search hit and hit go. I then click on a link in the search and let the page load. Look at the page to see if it has the answer I need. Then hit the back button and repeat the process with the next link. After about 1.5 to 2 minutes Firefox starts to load the page then the progress bar freezes about 1/6th of the way across the screen. If you wait several minutes the progress bar generally will continue to about 4/6th or 5/6th of the way across the screen then freeze again. If you turn WIFI off then on again Firefox will work for another 1.5 to 2 minutes and freeze again.
Same thing happens if you are on a web page clicking through links on the page. The problem occurs on all web pages.
Also more details on your wifi network would be helpful:
Hmmm, this is a difficult one--I work at the University of Washington, but not with the IT department that manages the technology infrastructure. So I don’t have a lot of technical details. Basically (among other jobs) I do the phone support for the Campus maintenance division. I support 250 to 300 users. While I do not have a lot of the specifics I will do my best to give you a general idea.
The best way to think of the UW is a small city. We have about 45,000 students and somewhere between 20,000 to 30,000 staff plus visitors. On any given day we can have 80,000 to 90,000 people on campus all of which are capable of using the WIFI network. So when I say we have a high volume WIFI network it is extremely high volume.
I noticed the problem with Firefox before and after spring break, but did not have the problem during spring break. WIFI usage would have been way down during this time because there would have been fewer people on campus. So the problem only seems to occur when volumes are very high.
I had a meeting with a UW-IT rep several months ago and he explained that the 2.4 network was near capacity some places on campus, but the 5.0 network had plenty of bandwidth on it. I think most of the phones I have been using work on the 2.4 network, but the Note 4 works with the 5.0 network also and has the same problem. Additionally all other programs work fine with WIFI so I do not think capacity is the issue.
Also I know Firefox itself is not the issue because it worked during spring break and it works on the cellular network. So some combo of the high volume network and Firefox seems to be creating the problem. Maybe has to do with how Firefox handles things when capacity is reached or exceeded.
As another side note I did not have the problem with my home network, but I was only using 2 phones at the time.
It sounds like you are technical since you have done so much testing. Please file a bug with the steps to reproduce at:
I have some technical skills, but really I am just good at research. I will do my best with the bug report :)
As for downgrading (which we DO NOT recommend & support since older versions don't have security fixes!) you can install an old nightly from:
I will try to work my way back to see if I can figure out what version of Firefox the problem started with.
Please let me know if you have any ideas or need any additional info.
    Thanks!

  • How can I downgrade to a previous version?

How can I downgrade to a previous version. I upgraded to 2.3 and now my site is totally hosed because the fonts on the master page are changing size arbitrarily without me touching them. I've had to eliminate my site map on the bottom of my master page because I've spent over 20 hours trying to correct the issue and can't seem to get anywhere. Even completely recreating the page doesn't correct the problem.
I was going to simply change a few photos from an older backup copy of the html files, but when I opened them with the 2.3 version, it changed all of the font sized on those files too.
I need my site working properly, so, how can I downgrade to the previous version and get my site working again until the bug is fixed?
    Help please!

Hello. This is the problem. When I try to open with premiere pro CC 2014 a converted and actualized CC 2014 version of a project created previously in a previous version of premiere, the software crash.

    Hello!
I have a problem with Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2014. I use Adobe to edit my film project and from the last time I updated the CC to CC 2014, it shows me an error message (Pic nr 1). I didn't change or remove anything. The problem started after I updated the program. Even now that I want to open the project with previous version of CC 2013, its showing me the same errors...
Do someone have any idea about it?

Thanks for your quick reply. I tried a number of different values. Usually when I do a negative offset they're very small values, like -.25 or -.5.
An Update- I took the art work into Ai CS 6 and It still did not work, which is really strange. And I've used it hundreds of times with success in the past. Also I tried it with live type and outlines, ungrouped, un-compounded still could not get it to negative offset.
    Thanks for the help.
