Downgrading ios from 8.0.2 to 6.1.3

Very recently I have upgraded my 4s device to IOS 8.02 . Need help to down grade it to either IOS 7.x.x or to my factory IOS 6.1.3.
Device response is very slow with this new IOS 8.0.2.

Sorry, you can't downgrade iOS 8. And you're supposed to speed up iOS 8 on your iPhone:
Clear junk files with safeeraser;
Remove unwanted photos, text messages as well as other files to free up storage;
Remove apps you don't use and update the apps you need to the latest version;
end multiple task on your iPhone.

    Please advise if any concerns.

I'm planning to downgrade the IOS from 15.0(2)SE2 to 12.2(55)SE8 on C2960S. Please advise if any concerns.
I disagree.  15.0(2)SE2 has a lot of CPU Hog bugs which wasn't fixed until 15.0(2)SE4.
IOS version 12.2(55)SE8, by far, is the best IOS versions ever written.
All of my 2960/G/S are running 15.0(2)SE4 while all my 3750/G/E/X are running 12.2(55)SE8.
My 3750G/E/X initially were running 15.0(2)SE2 and I downgraded them to 12.2(55)SE8 because of the bugs that seem to severely affect this series of switches.

  • Downgrade iOS from 7

    Greetings,
I replaced my aged 3GS which was running OS 6.1.3 to a new 4S unit which I got under a very good exchange offer a week ago. My 4S is I believe a November import and hence seems to have come with OS 7 pre-installed. I'm sad to say the User Interface is not at all to my liking, I've tried various 'motion tweaks' but I can't seem to appreciate this version of iOS.
Could someone advise me on how I may install the last & latest version of iOS 6 on my phone please. Would greatly appreciate any help : ))).
    Thanks in Advance.

Yes. You can only Update to the Current Signed by Apple Version of iOS for your Device.
Anything else is Not Supported by Apple.

  • Downgrade IOS from 15.0(2)SE6 to 12.2(55)SE7 issues

I received 2x 2960PCL switches that were shipped with IOS 15.0(2)SE6. I have attempted to downgrade these switches to 12.2(55)SE7 without success. So far I have pushed the 12.2 image to the switch via xmodem. When trying to boot from the image the switch installs and executes the image then spits out the following:
File "flash:c2960-lanbasek9-mz.122-55.SE9.bin" uncompressed and installed, entry point: 0x3000
    executing...

    -Traceback= 6280A8 15344F0 A30748
    Nested write_crashinfo call (2 times)
    It then loops:
     : Unexpected exception to CPUvector 0, PC = 6280A8
    -Traceback= 6280A8 15344F0 A30748
I have formatted the flash and repeated the process with the same results. Any help would be appreciated.

  • The right to downgrade IOS from 4 to 3.1.3 should be returned!

I am using Ipod Touch 3rd Generation. I have had a great battery issue since I upgraded to IOS 4. By searching for solutions for days, I believe many Ipod Touch users are suffering the same problem. Although there is no official explanation, most people think this is the result of the new strategy of WiFi access and the notification. Maybe it is necessary for iPhone 4 to achieve some "fabulous" jobs. But Apple shouldn't only take the future income into consideration. Since we paid for our Apple products, the update with good features should be included and Apple should care about us previous users. If Apple is so occupied by attracting new customers, it should give users the right to choose a better solution.
I strongly claim the right of choosing IOS versions. If you also want the right to select your favorite IOS versions, please support this post and let more and more people see it. We hope this concern could be noticed by Apple, which is probably busy with the antenna issue in IPhone 4.

This method works with old version of iPod touch, but not with the 3rd generation.
I can't say for sure, but it may be possible with a 3rd gen Touch if you use a different computer for the process. I say that because I had been trying to go from 3.1.3 back to 2.2.1 on my 2nd gen Touch but was never able to. I chalked that up to something Apple did to block it. After the iOS 4 disappointment, I thought I'd try again but on another computer (with a different iTunes library). This time it worked without a hitch, so using a different computer might be the key (I seem to recall other success stories related to using a diffent computer to restore iPhone issues).

I'm sorry, but Apple does not provide a downgrade path for iOS. Because downgrading is unsupported by Apple we cannot discuss it on these forums, but you can use Google to find information on how to install an older version of iOS on any iDevice.

My iPod touch 4G will not work after I tried to Downgrade it from iOS 5 to iOS 6. The screen is black and it doesn't work.

Downgrading the iOS is not supported by Apple.
    Try:
    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    - Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

  • Downgrade ios 6 to ios 5.1.1

TO ALL APPLE EXPERTS (WHATEVER YOU CALL THEM), I NEED YOUR HELP! So, recently apple launched its newest ios which is ios 6. I updated my iPhone 3Gs hearing about all the features my iPhone could possibly have if I update. Unfortunately, something went terribly wrong. Here is what I did:
    1) I downloaded the update from iTunes.
    2) I waited for it to finish. (Extracting iPhone software, verifying iPhone software.. all that stuff)
    3) After completing the process, my iPhone opened.
    4) I thought my update was successful because I reached the configuration stage. Little did I know, something bad will happen.
    5) After completing the configuration, the screen goes through “ACTIVATING YOUR IPHONE (It may take a few minutes to update your iPhone blah blah blah”
    6) I waited for 5 minutes but after that, this message showed up: “COULD NOT ACTIVATE IPHONE (Your iPhone could not be activated because the activation server is temporarily available. Try connecting your iPhone to iTunes to activate it, or try again in a couple of minutes. If this problem persists, contact Apple Support at apple.com/support”
    7) What I did was I tried connecting it to iTunes but it says that my iPhone doesn’t have a sim card. So, I bought a new sim card just for the sake of trying a different sim. Unfortunately, the same message appears again on iTunes.
    8) Also, what I observed was that at the upper left corner where my network carrier (which is GLOBE) should appear happens to be either “SEARCHING’ or “NO SERVICE”
Does anybody here experienced the same thing with their iPhone 3Gs? I really need your help! Is it possible to downgrade ios 6 to ios 5.1.1? Could you message me or reply in this post if ever you have the same problem as mine?

Read this thread concerning downgrading an iPad from iOS6 to iOS5 which is over 62 pages long https://discussions.apple.com/message/20104513?ac_cid=tw123456#20104513 . You are not alone!
Unfortunately Apple are currently sticking their heads in the sand over this issue which is a great pity because they could resolve the problem in a matter of minutes by allowing users to downgrade to iOS5 - so much for the customer is always right!

sir, kindly tell me, can my iphone 4s downgrade ios 8.0.2 to ios 7.1.2 because ios 7.1.2. is working very smooth in my iphone 4s before update ios 8.0.2

No, Apple has closed the access to verify iOS 7.1.2. So, you know, you can't downgrade from iOS 8 to iOS 7 any more. Instead of bearing the pain of slow iOS 8 on your iPhone 4s, I think you should learn how to speed up iOS 8 on your iPhone, say clear junk files and delete unwanted photos and messages to leaving more storage for running iOS 8, end multiple task and reduce motion effect to boost the performance.

  • Downgrade ios 7 to 6.1

can you downgrade ios 7 to 6.1? I have an iphone 4 and unfortunately I downloaded ios 7 version and the phone has been working terrible since then. It's super slow now, locks up, major delays in receiving text messages etc.  I want to go back to the older version which worked perfectly on my phone.

There is no supported way to downgrade the iOS on an iPhone.
Try Restoring your iPhone in iTunes from your backup.
Delays is receiving SMS Text messages (green bubble) have nothing to do with your phone.
