Downlaod not possible Developer Workplace 7.0 SP14SR3 Java Server

Hi,
Should i understand it officially that Developer Workplace 7.0 SP14SR3 Java Server Evaluation is not available for download.
I have seen so many posts about the same problem, and strange enough no solution has come up yet.
If you have any answer please share with us.

I have to install NetWeaver Developer Studio on my machine.
For this I searched for an download option in this site.
I got a link for download:
SAP NetWeaver 7.0 (2004s) Trial Version - Full Java Edition
But on this link there are two options :
1 . Developer Workplace 7.0 SP14SR3 Java Server Evaluation (4.214.608.965 bytes)
2. Developer Studio 7.0 SP14SR3 Java Server Evaluation (542.784.960 bytes)
Now I am confused on which to download.
What are additional features in Developer Workplace.
There are lot of installation guides available from SAP about Developer Studio 7.0 which i found while googling.

But if i need to install Developer Workplace 7.0, then would these documents be sufficent for me guide me through the process. Or i would need a separate document for the same.

Developer Workplace also installs a SAP J2EE engine, where you can test your developed code. This SAP J2EE engine also includes NW Enterprise Portal, NW Knowledge Management and the NW Development Infrastructure and other development tools.

Dialog Instance installation error - rdisp/msserv_no not possible

Dear All,
While trying to install a DI I am getting the following error:
An error occurred while processing service SAP CRM 5.0 Support Release 3 > Software Life-Cycle Options > Application Server > MS SQL Server > Dialog Instance( Last error reported by the step :Caught ESAPinstException in Modulecall: in getMsPort() rdisp/msserv_no not possible. You need a newer message server..). You may now
choose Retry to repeat the current step.
choose View Log to get more information about the error.
stop the task and continue with it later.
Log files are written to C:\Program Files/sapinst_instdir/CRM05/LM/AS/MSS/DI.

Hi,
Interestingly enough the installation went through by restoring the original kernel files, i.e. kernel fils as soon as the CI installation was completed.
I have upgraded kernel on CI now and am facing another issue of "Dialong Queue info Unavailable".
Not sure if I should open up a new thread for it.
Please let me know your views/ideas on the above.

My iPhone 4s developed a WiiFi fault which it was not possible to resolve. The phone was just over 1 year old. I visited the Apple store to see a Genius. The only assistance they were able to offer to me was to sell me a reconditioned phone. Right?

My 1 year and 1 month old iPhone 4s developed a WiiFi fault which it was not possible to resolve. I visited the Apple store in Brighton for the assistance of a Genius. He too was unable to resolve the fault. He said that as the phone was over a year old that there was nothing that he could do for me as the phone carries a 1 year warranty. He offered to sell me a reconditioned iPhone 4s as a replacement. This cost me a further £150.00. I was/am still paying for the phone through my contract, the phone that I no longer have!
A work collegue had a similar fault with his iPhone, although his phone was older by approx 6 to 10 months. He did what I did and visited the local Apple store to see a Genius and was straight away offered a brand new replacement phone for no additional payment.
Has anyone else had a similar experience and does anyone have any advice? I am furious about this double standard of customer support! And I can not find a way to email to Apple directly for customer service advice!

Thank you for your advice. If I lived closer to the store I would do just that. By using the forum it was not my intention to breach any TOS.
I speak to collegues and people advise me to email to Apple. They say that Apple always looks after its customers. I only wish to find a way to email to Apple to see if there is anything that they can do for me. I suspect not.
You regular forum users appear to me to be well versed Apple device users and as such maybe you could point me in the right direction to be able to email to customer support as I can not find a link!

Developer workplace installation issue (access) in Vista.

Hi All,
I am trying to install NW04s SR2 Developer workplace (Max DB,J2EE Engine and Developer Studio) in my Windows vista home premium machine.The SAPinst stops with an access issue while coping some file to c drive.
I did not try switching off the UAC (User account control) and would like to know if some workaround is possible.
Did anyone faced a similer issue and found a solution.

Vista Home is not supported, it lacks some functionality the kernel needs. You need to use Vista Business (at least).

Whatever happened to "NetWeaver Developer Workplace 7.0 SR3 Eval SDN Ver"

dear all, i am searching for a sneak preview for Portal, that i an hooking into my NSP to run BW Business Explorer (BEx).
Naturally i need a java stack, and i am not sure if any of the new sneak previews enable the BEx functionality. a good colleague of mine mentioned "NetWeaver Developer Workplace 7.0 SR3 Evalution SDN Version " that used to be available some time ago, but, in searching, i cannot see this anywhere now.
anyone got the BEx working with NSP and a java stack ?

The installation Guide talks @ only windows XP and Windows 2000 and windows 2003.

Creation of new DC is not possible

I'm working with Visual Composer on a CE 7.1 SP05 that is not currently configured to work with a DI server. I have a development component "mydc" in the shared repository that contains some models.
Whenever I want to create a new model in the shared repository, the system forces me to use the existing DC "mydc". The listbox for the development component offers only the value "mydc" and the button "New..." is inactive.
(When I create a model in the local repository, the "New..." button next to the DC listbox is active and I can create a new local DC.)
Please help me create a new DC in the shared repository.

To creat a new DC in shared repository do the following:
1. Create a DC in the local repository
2. Go to manage models, click on the newly created DC and you would see the icon with blue + (tooltip: Add to the source control)
3. Your local DC is now your shared DC

Error message with offer to download the 4.1.B.0.587 update and note: "installation not possible" (because it's already there) cannot partition SD card

Hi - Recently I put the latest update on my LT15i (4.1.B.0.587), after this I rooted the phone, and everything seemed okay. But since then I keep getting an error message with an offer to download the 4.1.B.0.587 update and the note: "installation not possible" (because it's already there). The news line on top shows a red exclamation mark all the time. It seems to me that it is due to this error that I cannot partition my SD card. Does anybody have an idea how to fix that? as you see yourself the jload is unable to connect to the database.
Check that your firewall is properly configured and that the SQL Server agent is running.

Error importing *.SCA file into NWDS: Import (into source SC) not possible

When attempting to import an SCA into a new project in NWDS, an "Import (into source SC) not possible: SCA doesn't contain DC sources" occurs. Any assistance to fix this issue appreciated.

You can indeed import SCAs into local development configurations in NWDS (Eclipse). You have to have a pre-existing software component of the same name and vendor which may or may not be empty.
In the Development Infrastructure perspective in NWDS 7.1, just right-click on the software component you want to overwrite with the import and choose "Import".
To import SCAs into a CMS track in the NWDI, you have to go to http://<NWDI server>:5<nn instance no>00/devinf/ and import the SCAs from the transport inbox directory of the NWDI server. Don't forget to maintain the SLD if necessary.

I'd be curious to know what SAP says. We have the same problem. Not sure how/if we broke it, but we can no longer create iviews using the wizard. I opened an OSS msg a while ago, but did not get much assistance.
We have recently upgraded to 2004s and it did not resolve the issue as I hoped it would.
If SAP provides a solution for you, please post it.

You should first check your Abap dumps using tranaction code ST22, this usually provides more detail on the problem.
In this case I think it's trying to return a screen (or pop-up message) that can't be handled while activating the web service. The "SAPLSKEY" tells me that it might be licence related, do you have a valid developer's licence for Abap development work? If not apply for one (find out the procedure from other Abap developer's that you may work with) & check if that makes a difference while activating.

Did you create this web service using the wizard in the Web UI?
Looking at the error it's occuring in function module DEVELOPER_CHECK, maybe you could try registering your user as a developer in the system or using a developers account to create the service.
