Download 9i Client

I have problems installing downloaded 9i Client here are my error messages:
1. Error in moving file c:\ora95dev\bin\orancrypt9.dll.bak
2.When I ignored the first error and continued the installation I got this message: oracle net configuration failed.
3. After the complition of the installation I tried to run the sql I got this other message: message file spi <lang>.msb not found.
Please I need your help to solve the above problems.

Have you checked the size of the downloaded file versus the actual size (listed on download page)? If this is different, try using a download accelerator like getright (http://www.getright.com) as mentioned in the faq.

The content and format of the cache will and do change from version to version of javaws. It is highly unadvisable to build into you application relying on the location or format.
That being said, for 1.4.2 or 1.5.0, the location was as given: "C:\Documents and Settings\<UserID>\Application Data\Sun\Java\Deployment\cache\javaws", and in long path below that depending on the URL of the resource.
For version 6, the cache is in : "C:\Documents and Settings\<UserID>\Application Data\Sun\Java\Deployment\cache\6.0" and then in a directory below that named "0" thry "63", depending on the hash of the URL of the resource. The name will be completely obscure, there will be one binary index file with "idx" extension, and then the actual resource will be the file of the same name w/o any extension.

Have you tried to use a different browser/machine and see if this helps?
If you still have an issue, try to download the software from e-Delivery website -- http://education.oracle.com/

I'm tring to download the oracle client 9.2.0.1, but when I click on 92010NT_CLT.zip I always receive the message "The page cannot be displayed".

Feature Request: VPN Portal with ability to download vpn client

Hi i have an feature request to improve the ISA experience.
Can you provide an vpn user login portal. When the user login he/she will be able to download the anyconnect directly from the firewall.
The same function is found on the Cisco ASA devices, even the RV series installs and SSL VPN client from a portal. I would not expect it to have a deep customization as the asa series but more the ability to let mobile users be able to connect using a regular browser and download the client them self if they don't have it.

Download 9i Client release 2

I am using a laptop with XP, trying to download 9i client R2. It downloads to 99% and freezes, can't get past this point.
Contacted Support, told me to download Getrigth, that worked but now when I try to down load the Oracle server never connects
And yes, I am behind a firewall.

We have no other reports of this problem. You may want to consider the use of a download manager such as GetRight (getright.com).

The Database, Management and Integration server and client are all included in the one 8i download. The installer gives you the choice of just installing the client tools.

File download from client to server

I am trying to set up a JSP/servlet to download a file from the client to the server in a webapp.
The solution I thought about was to post a form using a <INPUT TYPE="file" > element
But this does not work! In the form, I am setting the encoding to ENCTYPE="multipart/form-data" and I am wondering if that causes the problem.
Is it possible to do what I want to do? Am I doing it the right way?

u can do it by using a servlet. In your html form u have done the rigth thing (INPUT TYPE and ENCTYPE).this ENCTYPE will take care of the input data and convert it into a stream. capture this flow of stream using a servlet's getInputStream() method. Detect the header part and the body part of that stream...and try to print the body part in the console and u will get an idea , about how to parse the stream's body part.

Webutil, syslib files one time download to client

The below are the contents from webutil.cfg file. My question is do these syslib files need to be downloaded to the client, even if we are just using client_get_file_name, client_text_io routines of webutil?
As per the notes on the webuitl.cfg file, only certain integration operations require this one time download , it doesnt say that all integration operations require the one time download.

Deployed updates not being downloaded by clients - Error = 0x87d00692 is in the WUAHandler.log

I've been setting up SCCM 2012 and mostly following the instructions and guides at
http://www.windows-noob.com/forums/index.php?/topic/4045-system-center-2012-configuration-manager-guides/. We used to use a WSUS server to deploy our updates but now I've setup SCCM 2012 and setup the SUP role (and WSUS) on the SCCM server.
I belive I've gotten most things properly configured. The SCCM Software Center application is successfully installed on all my clients and I'm able to setup software update groups and I just tried to deploy the most recent updates from this Tuesday
patch release. I can see the packages downloaded on my SCCM server in the folder that I specified but the updates don't seem to going down to my clients. I've looked at the WUAHandler.log on one of my clients and it keeps repeating the following

I was troubleshooting this issue earlier today and pulling my hair out until I came across this blog post: http://www.bibble-it.com/2009/07/24/sccm-update-scan-error . Like many others, I'm using WSUS to also push the new SCCM client, so the GPO for the
WSUS server needs to be in place. The issue you're running into here is that your server names don't match up EXACTLY.

You need to change your group policy to use the FQDN. In your case it would be http://topanga.kcicorp.com:8530 instead of http://topanga:8530

Well,i don't know whether if this helps people here are not.
It is always a good practise to do it via Servlet and then download content.
The adavantage of doing this is
1). You may not need to pack the downloadable with the .war which you ultimately genrate which ceratinly help us in terms of faster deployment.
3). You may update the new content just by moving a file to the backup folder.
2).One may definately download the content irrespective to the content/file.
Hope example below helps..
Configurations:
In the above example we are assuming that we placing all downlodable file in D:/webapp/downlodables/ and you have configured the same path as a init param with the name "filePath" in your web.xml.

I downloaded Weblogic server6.1 windows version.my system enveronmet is:Compaq system
with 20GB and 128MB Ram
OS is windows-98.Iam able to run server and compile and create example Weather.ear
file.but iam geting problem when iam try to download Client.jar from this URL:http://host:port/weather
here i change host is my system name and port is 7001 like what ever you given instruction
in document.but it's not opning that file it's giving error that error message I

Where to download Oracle client installation .exe file

Hi,
I need to install an Oracle client on a Windows Server 2008 (32-bit), how do I do that?
I want to install Oracle client version 10.2.0.4 (Instant Client Package - Basic: All files required to run OCI, OCCI, and JDBC-OCI applications).
I can't find a .exe installation file, does anyone one know if there is a .exe file available and if so where can I download it? I have just found .jar installation files.
