Download Acrobat for Mac AND Windows

I purchased Adobe Acrobat Pro ver XI online. Web site said purchase price entitles purchaser to install on 2 separate computers. After making purchase, when I went to download software, I noted that order says I bought the full Windows version. I was never asked whether I wanted Windows or Mac versions, I suspect it detected the machine I was using. I need product for two computers, one is Windows based, the other is a Mac. How do I download and install product to both computers? And if I cannot, I prefer to download to my Mac, how do I switch what I purchased. I have not yet downloaded anything at all. Thanks for your help.

Serial numbers for older versions do not work across platforms.
At one time, when the product was current, you could get Adobe to switch you to the other platform, but I don't know whether Adobe will do that for old versions. I do know it's not going to work if you try to use your Windows license for a Mac installation.

Unless things have changed, there are separate S/N's for the PC and the Mac versions.
I would immediately contact Adobe Customer Support (not Technical Support), and explain the error. I feel that they will be able to help you with replacing the PC version.

Numbers is a joke compared to Excel. If I were you I would find a class/tutorial first, find out what they use (and it won't be Numbers) and see if you need the Mac or Windows version of Excel. Note that Excel is not sold as a seperate product from the Microsoft Office suites.

I just purchased 1 full license of Adobe Lightroom 4 and I can see there's an installer for Mac and Windows.
does it mean I can install on both systems or my license is only valid for 1?

This is not really a Numbers question. I will provide an answer but suggest you make the question relavent for the forum where you post.
1) Open the PDF in Preview
2) select the menu item "View > Thumbnails"
3) select the page you wnt to share
4) copy (by using the key combination <command> + c OR select the menu item "Edit > Copy"
5) select the menu item "File > New From Clipboard"
6) save as a new name
7) share the new file

It depends on how you installed it. You have to shutdown the MySQL service first. If you used the standard, but obsolete Startup Item, you can do that with the Startup Item. If you created a launchd script, you can do it with launchctl. Once MySQL is no longer running, you can delete the Startup Item or launchd script and the rest of MySQL.

Licensing Acrobat Pro Mac and Windows on same Mac

I have a large number Macs in our business running Creative Suite 6. A number of those operators also have a need to run LiveCycle Designer, which is a Windows only product. At present we buy addtional 4 GB RAM, VMWare Fusion and a Windows 7 licence in addition to purchasing a standalone copy of Acrobat for Windows. Is it really necessary for us to buy an additional licence for Windows Acrobat or would we be OK utilising the existing Mac Acrobat Pro licence?

If you're buying the perpetual license version of Creative Suite 6, you would have to buy separate licenses for Macintosh and Windows versions. If you're getting Creative Suite 6 through your subscription to the Adobe Creative Cloud, you can mix your two eligible copies, and download both Windows and Mac versions.

It is simplest to have the HDD formatted to noe common to both Mac an PC. ExFAT is one. But to do that will erase all data on the HDD.
If the HDD id formatted NTFS, Mac can read but not write to it. The solution then is to use a third party application such as Paragon or Tuxera which will overcome that obstacle. These applications do have mixed reviews.

I want to make an hybrid cd-rom for both, Mac and Windows, and I am using the fscommand code in the first frame of my actions:

I want both commands with their properties, however the displayState property is new to me. Please, Could you help me to do the same with this?.

The stage displayState and scale properties are like so:

Note that changing the displayState is usually done after the first frame is rendered so adding in a listener for that before changing it is a good idea. The scale and align don't require this.

Hi,
I have used now the photoshop trial version for windows for windows for a while and would like to buy the full version. However I will switch to a mac in December or January and would really appreciate If I would be able to start out with photoshop already now on my windows pc so that I don't have to wait with purchasing photoshop until I have the mac.
If I buy a photoshop license, will I get a version for both platforms or how does it generally work if switching platforms? I am also using Lightroom 4 and when I bought this as box it came with both a mac and windows version but I noticed that for photoshop I have to choose in the store.
Would be nice if you could help me with this.

Lightroom is multi-platform. It is licensed for Mac and/or Windows and you can install it on both since you can activate it on up to 2 computers.
Traditionally licensed versions of Photoshop and other apps are single platform licenses: Mac only or Windows only but you also have up to 2 activations. Mac/Mac or Win/Win.
Creative Cloud versions of Adobe Suites and apps (e.g. Photoshop) are all multi-platform licenses: Mac and/or Windows - so you can activate them on Win/Win or Mac/Mac or Win/Mac. That may work best in your situation purely from a licensing perspective but you'll be locked in to a monthly fee.
You can cross-grade from Windows to Mac but that usually involves an upgrade at the same time (e.g. CS5.5 Windows to CS6 Mac). Check with Adobe Sales for further options.
