Download Acrobat onto Surface Pro

I have purchased a Surface Pro but cannot activate the Acrobat XI as I also have it installed on my work laptop and my desktop. As I am the only person who ever uses these three computers, what is the solution? Given the multitude of devices we all now use, is there a way in which I can use my personal version on my notebook/Surface pro?

Not helpful as the response fails to recognize the point that I am making
I really need it on three "different types" of machine, all three of which I use depending on the circumstances. I assume that I have to deactivate, and then reactivate, on the different machines as frequently as I need to switch eg. when I go out with my notebook, I will have to take time to deactivate from my desktop, and then do the reverse when I get back to my desktop!
As I am the only one using the machines, it seems to be a "heavy handed" way to treat a customer, particularly when I have personally paid so much for Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 and subsequent upgrades to Adobe XI from the Adobe store (>£1,000) in recent years
It would be similar to MS saying that the notebook that I have purchased from them can be used in two locatios (eg.  in the home or in work) but cannot be used in a hotel?). Please explain why there is a restriction on me using the Adobe product that I have purchased!

  • Downloading to MS Surface Pro

I have already purchased Adobe CS5 Master Collection and was wondering if there is a way to download to my Surface Pro!

    Download from http://helpx.adobe.com/download-install.html
Install then enter your CS5 serial number to license it.

  • Downloading CS6 onto MacBook Pro

Hi! I am looking for some information/help. Today I purchased a new macbok pro retina and it does not have a CD player in it. I was also purchasing the Design Standard Creative Suite. I was informed I could just down load and then plug in the serial number but I am having a bit of trouble. Do i Just download each trial version of the creative suite and use the same serial number over and over again?
    Thankyou for your help!

Do i Just download each trial version of the creative suite and use the same serial number over and over again?
If you mean the individual, standalone software apps in the suite then no.
Each Creative Suite is a single, large self-contained download.
Adobe has now hidden the CS6 download links deep within their site so they're hard to find now that the CS6 versions are about to be superseded by the next versions (CC) next month.
You can download the CS6 Design Standard trial from http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cs6-direct-download-links.html
Ensure that you follow the Very Important Instructions on that page first otherwise the download links will not work.
Once downloaded, launch the trial and enter your serial number once to activate the entire suite and every app within it.

  • How do I know if I'm already licensed to download Acrobat onto a new computer?

I just bought a new computer. I seem to remember on a previous visit to Adobe.com that I have a license for several PCs. How do I find out whether I've got room for this new computer under my existing license?

    Hi dmobley671,
If you have purchased licensing agreement for Acrobat, you can find out the status of your agreement in the Licensing Website at https://licensing.adobe.com/.
That said, I looked at your account, and it looks like you purchased two copies of Acrobat Standard (you can activate each on up to two computers), and a brand-new subscription to Acrobat Pro (which can also be activated on up to two computers). Note, however, that the end-user license agreement states that can't use the software on two computers simultaneously.

  • Acrobat pro XI won't download on my MacBook Pro Yosemite

I paid for Acrobat XI Pro Subscription Edition on 28 October 2014.  It wouldn't download then on my MacBook Pro (Yosemite).  How can I donwload it without having to pay again?
It is amazing that the only service I can get is from a community forum.
If someone from ADOBE is reading this please know that I am paying for a service and I can't even get the software onto my computer.
It is probably time to start a twitter campaign

Adobe Download Assistant won't complete download. It says downloading 501mb, and when it does that it goes around again and again. My download speed is about 7mb, so it shouldn't take more that a couple of hours at most...

  • WDS and Surface Pro 2

I have a Windows Deployment Server and I am using Windows ADK to load essential drivers onto my boot/install images.
I downloaded the latest Surface Pro 2 driver pack and used DISM to load drivers on to an offline boot image from a Windows 8.1 ISO. I then un-mount the image and load it onto my WDS server.
My problem is the Surface Pro 2 won't pxe boot into my Windows Deployment Server. When I PXE boot, it displays media present and then waits for user input to start PXE over IPv4. I press enter but it times out and then prompts for IPv6 (no error given) when
that times out it boots the machine into windows.
I had been successfully imaging Surface Pro tablets from this deployment server using the same methods, but we recently got in the Surface Pro 2 and I haven't been able to get it working.
I have the latest version of MDT installed but I'm not that familiar with it. When we first started deploying tablets I had attempted to create boot wims with MDT but I never got it working and decided just to use the WADK and DISM.
Any ideas on what I could try next?

I am running WDS on Windows server 2008 R2.
I am using a Type Cover 2 from Microsoft.
I am using the Microsoft Surface Ethernet Adapter. I loaded the drivers for the adapter into the boot image as well as the other drivers from the February driver pack.
    Thank you for your response.

  • I downloaded Acrobat in August, and would like to use it on my laptop as my secondary device. I understand that one user may use 2 devices under 1 license, as long as not run simultaneously. How is the second download completed?  (Dummy instructions pleas

This is the only information I've found about using a second device from Adobe:
Can I use my software on two computers?
If you own, or are the primary user of, a single-user or volume license Adobe product that is installed on a computer at work, you can also install and use the software on one secondary computer of the same platform at home or on a portable computer. However, you may not run the software simultaneously on both the primary and secondary computers.  No more than one user can use a single-user license Adobe product.  Note: AVL customers have to buy two different licenses to use both operating systems, even if they have two different computers. They can only use the same license on another computer (not simultaneously) with the same platform at home.
This is actually for my boss so any timely help is appreciated!

    Hi rebecca,
You can download Acrobat from: Download Acrobat products | Standard, Pro | XI, X
and use the purchased serial number to activate the software.

  • While downloading Acrobat XI, download assistant leaves a folder in my downloads with an invalid .dmg file (illegal seek when you try to open it in Mac OSX 10.9)

This "go get community help" because we won't let you email us or chat after 7-7 is the most useless, frustrating and time-wasting process I've yet found.

    Hi kmbishop,
What is the size of the downloaded dmg file?
It seems to me that the downloaded file might have been corrupted.
Please try downloading Acrobat 11 Pro from the direct download link available at: Download Acrobat products | Standard, Pro | XI, X

    Rave
