Download Adobe Acrobat to Mac

I cannot download adobe acrobat pro to my new macbookpro computer. If I use Safari or Google Chrome the same issue arises. At 42% download- a window appears asking me to quit Safari and then there is nothing?

Try this direct download link, but follow the download instructions carefully or the link won't work.

You will want the Acrobat XI Pro Trial.

I don't understand what this means; you don't have your serial number?
To download Acrobat and CS5 go to https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install.html

  • Purchased Adobe Acrobat 10 mac version - can I download a pc version?

    Hi there,
I own Adobe Acrobat 10 mac version, but want to use the software on a Windows 7pc. Can I download a pc version?
    Thanks

Well, you can download as often as you want. You can install as often as you want. You just won't be able to activate it and use it beyond the 30day trial period without a serial. Buy a separate license for your PC or swap your Mac license.

Download and installation help for Prodesigntools links are listed on most linked pages.  They are critical; especially steps 1, 2 and 3.  If you click a link that does not have those steps listed, open a second window using the Lightroom 3 link to see those 'Important Instructions'.

My computer is Win8.1 64bit. Where can i download Adobe acrobat DC 64 bit? The application manager always download 32 bits application for me!
(I tryed PS and AI just now. the application manager installed 64bits PS and AI. Why it can't find a 64bit acrobat for me?!)

Acrobat runs as a 64-bit application on Mac. Acrobat on Windows is a 32-bit application that can run and has been tested on 64-bit versions of Microsoft Windows 7 and 8, and Windows Server 2008 and 2012.

  • Downloading Adobe Professional 8 Mac - full version

Just got a new computer that doesn't have a disk drive.
Have been searching everywhere  to download Adobe Acrobat Professional 8 for a MAC.
I can't remember where I actually purchased it, but I did register the produce with Adobe immediately back in 2008.
All I can find are the updates for Adobe 8 on the Adobe site.
If someone can point me to the right direction I would appreciate it.

There are no trials for Acrobat for Mac available prior to Acrobat 10.  If you did purchase a new Mac then it is unlikely Acrobat 8 will work under Mac OS 10.8.3.
Lizgrayrdht if you choose the download option at the time of purchase then please see http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1006208?tstart=0&promoid=KBHJQ for information on how to download your purchased software.
Alternately you can use a computer which does have an optical drive and copy the installation files to a USB drive.  You can then install from the USB drive.  Finally you may want to consider getting an external optical drive in case you face this challenge again in the future.

  • I have been unable to download adobe acrobat pro, which I purchased on a month to month basis almost exactly 1 year ago, since I purchased it. I just received a renewal email and it had a link to download the program and for the first time when I clicked

I have been unable to download adobe acrobat pro, which I purchased on a month to month basis almost exactly 1 year ago, since I purchased it. I just received a renewal email and it had a link to download the program and for the first time when I clicked on the link it actually sent me to a page that had the icon to download now. I clicked on that, but when I went to open the file and start downloading after about 3 minutes into downloading it says an error had occurred. Can anyone help me?

I am a little worried. If you are an existing subscriber why would Adobe need you to download... I wonder if the message is a fake.
I'm not clear, if you've had it for a year, whether you need to download, or you are just following the email?
This page with the icon to download now. Was it a page on adobe.com ?

  • I need to download Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard because my new computer doesn not have cd media.  When I put my serial number in, it says it is not valid.

My new computer does not have CD media so I need to download Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard online.  I am able to download but when it prompts me for the serial number, it says my number is not valid.  I have double and triple checked, the serial number has been entered EXACTLY as it says on the box.  What could be causing this?

Adobe acrobat 9 standard you will need to use a computer which does contain an optical drive and copy the contents to a USB drive.  You can then install from the USB drive on your computer which does not include an optical drive.  Unfortunately if you did not choose download at the time of purchase then I am not aware of any download locations for the installation files.

  • Receive continual error messages after downloading Adobe Acrobat Pro; cannot open

I had downloaded Adobe Acrobat XI Pro as a trial and it worked just fine. Just purchased it/upgraded as a subscription last week and I receive a "download completed successfully" message, but when trying to open, get an error message saying the program closed unexpectedly. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times to receive the same message. Here is the error message I receive. What is the best way to get actual help from Adobe Acrobat XI Pro staff? I received an email from Sara Forsberg at Acrobat.com telling me to wait until my order was complete, and after a week it should certainly be complete by now - still same error message. Very frustrating given the cost of the program and that it is 100% useless so far. Need actual customer service at this point please.

I suggest that you Contact Customer Care - click on the Still need help? button to chat with an agent.
If you need more help from the forums, please post in the Acrobat forum; this is the forum for the Acrobat.com online service.
