Download Adobe CC without Application Manager ?

Hi all, as you all know CC has just ben released but Application Manager takes forever to download the apps. Is there a way we can download the apps via a direct link?

I'd be careful with anyone using the links on ProDesignTools, it appears to add some nasty tracking cookies on your computer.
For example, the link:
http://prodesigntools.com/trials3/AdobeProducts/PHSP/14/win32/Photoshop_14_LS20.exe
Actual redirects via a 301 to:
http://www.jdoqocy.com/click-2159997-10503029?sid=Trials3&url=http%3A%2F%2Ftrials3.adobe.com%2FAdobeProducts/PHSP/14/win32/Photoshop_14_LS20.exe
Which then redirects to apmebf.com and emjcd.com (which are all CommissionJunction related sites).
If you don't believe me, try downloading with "wget", and you can see all the headers
It would have been better to just use (after download an appropriate trial such as Adobe Lightroom):
http://trials3.adobe.com/AdobeProducts/PHSP/14/win32/Photoshop_14_LS20.exe

  • When I download Adobe's CS6 applications from the applications manager it takes way too long.  On my macbook I can download the same applications in about an hour or so.  With my new mac with tons of RAM it takes about 6 hours.  Can anyone help?

Basically I'm having trouble downloading Adobe's CS6 applications.  On my macbook it does it a lot faster than my more powerful imac.  I know someone who also has a mac who said something like fragmenting my memory.  Does anyone know how to do that.  I'm totally clueless.  Thanks.

    Thanks for the reply!

The performance of the laptop has been great. It is a sony vaio that I bought 2 months ago and it has been very capable with CS3 photoshop, bridge and ACR. I load in thousands of raw files, cull them down to 600-800, apply quick develop settings with camera raw, and then batch all 800 through a fairly intense photoshop action. All of this runs great except when I want to rename or delete in Bridge. A little earlier I finally shut down bridge after letting it rename images for 3 hours and it had only renamed 7 files out of 700. (And I'm just trying to rename to Name_0001)
If you think I should run a performance check, I will. I'm just not familiar enough with Vista yet to know how.

  • How to download adobe products without adobe download manager. I am on the slow internet connection

how to download adobe products(e.g lightroom) without adobe download manager. I am on the slow internet connection. The adobe download manager ask me that download will finish after 24 hours.

You can get all the download links to software updates back many years by going to:
www.adobe.com/downloads/updates/ and choosing your software product in the dropdown list at the top and clicking Go.  This should lead to a page of updates going back in time.  It doesn’t have the .0 versions because those require payment, but the .1-.n free updates to the .0 version s are there.
You can also get beta software downloads by going to:
    http://labs.adobe.com/

  • Downloading Photoshop CS6 using Application Manager

I have just purchased CS6 Cloud and successfully downloaded the Application Manager. I am now attempting to download just Photoshop CS6 but it has stopped at 48%. This is the second attempt where it has stopped at exactly the same point. I have iMAC 10.7 and mobile broad band which peaked at 3-4Mb/sec. What size is the download file? I left it overnight but now the comms are zero. I would rather get advise before re-starting.

The file size of Photoshop CS6 is approximately 960 MB.
Did you refer to http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/troubleshoot-update-issues-cs5-cs5.html and http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/troubleshoot-creative-cloud-installation-download .html and try troubleshooting the application manager?

  • Adobe X Pro Application Manager error

I have installed the trial version of Adobe Acrobat X Pro. When I try to use it I receive a message that "application manager failed to initialize." I have tried doing a repair installation, uninstall and reinstall and still get the same message. Any ideas?

OK Now found this series post on the web:
    http://www.lawsitesblog.com/2011/03/maybe-i-need-to-give-up-on-adobe-acrobat-x-pro.html#.T 66QhMVQR4o

So going to try this solution:
His fix was surprisingly simple. He had me create a new user account in Windows with full administrative privileges. He then had me log in as that new user and install Acrobat there. Once I logged back in under my usual username, there was Acrobat and it worked seamlessly.

  • Cannot download Adobe Story Desktop Application

Hello, and thank you in advanced. I'm getting started in writing and was thrilled to find Adobe Story, so much so I upgraded to Adobe Story Plus along with the Creative Cloud. Then, a desktop applocation? The one thing that was missing!
So, when I go to download the Desktop Application I am prompted that I will need to install Adobe Air as well, as it is required for the installation. I have Adobe Air but I hit install anyways. It completes the progress bar and then switches to a dialoge stating: A download error occured. Try to download again?
In response I try multiple times more. Sometimes it doesn't even complete the progress bar and just skips to the failure notification. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Adobe Air. I've logged in and logged out. I've waited several days between my attempts and I always get the same result.
If there's anything you guys can do it will be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much!

    Hi,
There is an issue with Adobe AIR installation with Chrome browser.
Can you please try with some other browser, say firefox/safari
    Thanks

  • How to download adobe flash without uninstalling

when trying to install latest adobe flash it tells to close foxfire...how do I do that?

There are 2 versions of Adobe Flash:
*an '''ActiveX version''' for IE only
*a '''Plugin version''' for most other browsers including Firefox
*On a Windows system, you should always update both individually.
'''''You have an older version of the Plugin version for Firefox installed (10.0 r45).'''''
Check your Plugins often --> http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/plugincheck/
*only the most popular/used Plugins are known by this page
*page will detect only installed, '''''enabled''''' Plugins
    '''<u>Install or update Adobe Flash</u>'''<br />
#'''<u>Using Firefox</u>''', go to the following link and SAVE the download to your desktop so you can find it later. Un-check any items on that page that you do not want to download (i.e., "McAfee Security Scan Plus":
#When the download is finished, close Firefox (File > Exit '''''OR''''' Firefox button > Exit)
#Click or double-click on the file you just saved to your desktop
#*In the installation window that appears, click the box to the left of "I have read and...." to place a check mark in the box
#*The "Install" button in the lower right corner will now be highlighted, click it.
    #*The installation is quick.
#Start Firefox and test your installation here: https://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/
#To update/install the ActiveX version for IE '''''only''''', repeat the process, '''<u>but use IE to go to the above website</u>'''.

  • Adobe Creative Cloud application manager asks for daily login

    Hi,
While I am I am at home or work, I can easily login to my Adobe Cloud services, in two months I'm going to be on a boat in the middle of nowhere with little, if any, Internet access. I will need to use this software offline for about a week and I need to nip this problem in the bud now.
Why am I being asked to login daily? This started after the credit card I was using for the monthly fee was stolen and I waited for its replacement. During that time my account was suspended but has since been updated, charged, and things should be back to normal with my new credit card but they are not.
Can anyone please tell me how to fix this?
    Thank you,
    john

well Jeff...nothing changed. I am leaving at 0600 tomorrow morning for 10 days and i have no use of the adobe tools when i am not connected to the internet. i told the rep khahil or whatever his name was and he said something along the lines of the problem with my account does not matter because i have a payment due in june and i asked him twice what that has to do with anything and he never replied.
i am sick to death of the good for nothing reps. they do not understand english. they do not seem to care (at least the ones I've had the misfortune of working with). when i tell one of them to call me at 10am CDT and he calls me not once, not twice but 4 times after I've told him when I am available and he cannot seem to do it.
I updated the installer. I have done everything I was told to do or suggested I do and this 'cloud' service is not what i am paying for. i am paying for something that works as advertised and this comes no where near it. no where does the plan's fine print say that i must maintain a constant connection to the internet for the tools/applications to work.
no where does the terms and conditions say that i need to log in every time i reboot my computer or lose my internet connectivity. if this is the future of adobe...i am not looking forward to it. forcing all users to this rental software model is insane especially when it does not work...and mine clearly does not work.
so now i am leaving on a trip with no lightroom and no photoshop and after i began working on this a month ago with you. i made the mistake of trusting your technical support people to know their business and to handle your clients with some sense of urgency.
when i return, i will be calling your executive offices and i will tell them in detail how frustrating this whole process has been which has only been aggrevated with your poor technical support team. Jeff...I honestly feel like you're the only Adobe representative that I have talked to up to this date that actually gives a flying flip about my experience. the people i have been handed off to both in chat, on the phone, and the other tech i've talked to on this forum who told me that my problem "doesn't matter" and never responded to my last question posted yesterday afternoon, clearly do not care about anyone.
count me as VERY UNHAPPY with Creative Cloud as a product and my opinion is it is a failure and a waste of my money. I should have bought the disc version and not gone down this 'rental software' route.

  • Tried to download In-design demo. Computer is looking for Adobe Application Manager.

    Running Win7, 32 bit.
I was able to download Adobe Acrobat without issues.
Maybe it is 64 bit only?
I have a screengrab, but there is no way to set attachments.

You should be able to download it directly. Other than the download, do you have a question related to Acrobat? This is not the InDesign forum.

  • I can't find Premiere Pro or AfterEffects on my Adobe Application Manager!

I can't find Premiere Pro or AfterEffects on my Adobe Application Manager! I use Adobe Creative Cloud and haveing som problems finding Premiere to download it and install it. Where is it?

After Effects CS6 and Premiere Pro CS6 are both 64 bit only.
If you're running a 32 bit operating system then they won't be available for installation since they won't run on your computer.
Adobe decided to simply omit them, without explanation, from the Application Manager for 32 bit operating systems in order to be helpful.
That decision has merely ended up confusing Cloud members who run 32 bit operating systems.
A simple text message from Adobe in the Application Manager explaining that 64 bit only apps are not available for installation on 32 bit operating systems is needed to clear up the confusion.

  • Cannot install Adobe Application Manager

When I install this, I first get an error saying another instance is already running.  The installation then proceeds and goes through the motions installation but at the then, I get an error saying "Adobe Application Manager failed to install".  I've combed through my Windows Task Manager for things like "PDApp.exe" and "setup.exe" but I couldn't find any.  I have a bazillion processes running and I don't have time to go through each one trying to figure out which is the right one.  How do I install the Application Manager?  It seems like all the CC apps needs the updated version of Adobe Application Manager in order to install.

Problem resolved.  I called the 800 # and spoke with a technical support person in India.  The steps to resolve were to rename the directory paths (2 of them) that pointed to the old Adobe Application Manager, then download the Adobe Cleaner Tool and use it to remove the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop App.  I logged off and then logged back in and re-downloaded the Creative Cloud Application manager and I was able to download (finally) Photoshop CC.
The old Adobe Application Manager came with my CS6 installation.  It was probably running but it did not show up in the Windows Task Manager as either an application, process, or service.  It also could be be uninstalled through Control Panels without having to remove CS6 altogether.
