Download all attachments as a zip file

Hi,
I want to download all files as a zip file from the database using c#.net visual webpart.

Hi,
Sheelaj request you to drop the idea for getting into database to achieve this task,because SharePoint does not support any activities directly to query its contents.
Do you have the document library in the site from there you want to download as Zip ?
May be this link shed some insight
http://www.c-sharpcorner.com/uploadfile/GemingLeader/programmatically-compress-and-decompress-files/
Or just a  the content database ?
I heard about there is some tools or custom code to convert the binary format into physical file in .NET,
but i am not sure how its going to fit into SharePoint and your requirement.

     Take it somewhere that has better broadband. The best you can do sometimes is invest in new modem that works with your system instead of the rental etc in most cases.
    Do a Safe Boot.
    Make sure your firewall is set properly. Don't use 3rd party. AV software can get in the way.
    Make sure you are getting the service and a clean strong modem signal - slow is one thing but if it drops off and can't maintain a connection you have hardware issues, not software - and upgrade to a new OS doesn't tend to improve, it may even not work with older networking equipment once you do get it.
     I agree and think electronic only goes too far. And when you do get it: burn the package and manually set it aside first before running the intaller! make a flash memory installer, put it on DVDs too.

  • Download all attachments

    It appears that the "download all attachments" button from owa 2010 has been removed in 2013... Is this on purpose? Or will it be coming back in a patch? I have very frustrated users that are annoyed by the functionality in 2013 vs. 2010. Anyone
    in the know have any idea on this? Thanks!

    Yep you are right.
    Its not there anymore. This feature became available with Exchange 2010 SP1.
    However, its removed from Exchange 2013. Maybe someone forgot it :) . Hopefully it will become available again with future updates.

  • Download All attachments feature for OWA is unavavilable.

    Hi,
    Is it me or is the feature "download all attachments" removed from exchange 2013 CU6 Outlook web app.  It was available on the exchange 2010 OWA.  I realize this when many users complained that they have to download each attachment.
    Thanks

    Yeah it looks like it was quietly removed, I am running on CU7 and its not available. But it looks like its back on O365 so maybe CU8 or higher will add it back to on premise.

    Abhishek,
    This may be possible but will depend on the host OS for the mobile device (Windows can do it, iOS can't) as well as how you have your processes defined and if you have the necessary editing tools on the device.
    The process will be to download the document to the device.
    Launch the editing software passing the file downloaded to edit
    Save the file
    Attached the edited file to your Work Order
    Transmit to upload the edited document.
    The reason iOS can't do this is due to the nature of your applications being contained and not sharing data across applications.  There may be some iOS OS enhancements coming in 7.2 and beyond which may enable this data sharing but for now you can't do it on iOS without using custom code (OpenUI on SMP3.0)
    Android may work depending on where you store you downloaded documents.  If they are stored in a "public" area then it might be possible to also do this on Android.
    Good luck.

  • Trouble downloading all attachments from email

    Hey There,
    I am absolutely frustrated that I can not download any attachments from my yahoo email!
    Recently, someone gained access to my computer and read private files. This lead me into a spin of security over haul. I activated all the security settings in the System Preferences (set a master password and ticked all the boxes), as well as tried to retrieve my files (which they deleted) using a demo version of Stellar Phoenix and Disk Warrior to no success.
    But since I've done all of the above in the last few weeks, I can not download any attachments (word, pdf, jpg anything) from my yahoo email.
    I click on the attachment icon to download. This then appears in the downloads box. It starts to load but then gives up at "9.3kb of ?". saying that it "cannot create the file". I click on the refresh button next to the details and it prepares the download, but ends up not being able to create the file.
    Would this be a Safari problem or would it be due to the security settings that I have recently activated?
    Please help me!

    No luck unfortunately
    I turned off all the security preferences I could (Filevault, waking the computer with password etc), except for the master password, and I still am having the same problem of my email attachments not downloading.
    While using Stellar Phoenix Demo to try and recover my deleted files,I had to create a new account, one for myself and one for the Root. Could creating either of these possibly have an effect? I know how stupid that sounds but the separate accounts and the master password being set are the only two options left that I can't change and I'm still having problems downloading attachements.

    I actually am having two issues.  First, when I purchased the Razr Maxx and the verizon rep at the store set up my email account (hotmail) on the phone.  We opened up an email that had about 5 attachments and as soon as I opened the email itself, the attachments were somehow automatically opening in the body of the email.  That is no longer happening.
    Second, when I do receive an email with attachments, I click on the attachment, it opens to a new screen and then I have to click on "download" for it to open.  Not really a problem if there is only 1 or 2 attachments.  However, when I get email with 10 attachments, is there any way to (1) get them to open automatically as  it did the day I purchased the phone....or (2) is there any option to "download all" (without having to save them anywhere)?

    Try opening the email client and then press the menu button and look for the option for the messages delivery options and make sure you have download attachments checked....   Also if this doesn't work you can try K9 email client from Play Store it has this option that seems to work as you ask..

  • Download problems with grid control zip file

    Hello,
    Does anyone have any insight as to why I am having problems fully downloading the first zip file for linux? I was able to download file 2 and file 3 completely without any problems but the first file always stops at around 600 MB.
    I have tried three different computers.
    Thanks in advance.
    A/A

    Downloaded about 1 month ago without any problem. If it fails again, let me know. I can test it again.

  • Download  EP examples with project zip files

    I am new to Portal
    i want zip file of webservice car rental example
    were to download it

    Hi samyuktha,
    Have a look at second paragraph on page 5 of this doc:
    <a href="https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/ba67cd90-0201-0010-b9ba-8fd5623ef6e8">Using the Car Rental Web Service with Web Dynpro</a>
    It says that:
    <i>The QuickCarRental application is part of the standard set of example
    applications contained in the example directory of the Developer Studio
    (.../SAP/JDT/eclipse/examples/J2EE_QuickCarRental.zip). The Web service is
    already defined there and only needs to be deployed on the J2EE together with
    the EAR file.</i>
    I checked it at my end, I have this zip file in the path mentioned. Please check on your end too. If by any chance you are still unable to find the zip, give me your email id, i will send the zip to you.
    I hope this is the very zip you are talking about..
    Bye

  • Safari opening linked .zip files directly from DVD instead of downloading

    Dear all,
    Safari opening linked .zip files directly from DVD (via Windows explorer) instead of downloading it tru browser click - it's working just fine in FF, Chrome IE. Is this a known issue? or something can be done by modifying browser setting/pref.
    Expecting more advise on this.
    Configurations: Windows XP
    Safari: 5.1.7
    Note: ensured there is no space in the file path, just linked the .zip file using href attribute!
    Also tried with .xls, .doc insted of .zip same issue appearing.
    Thanks in advance,
    Thirilog

    Hi
    appzapper & such are pretty flaky at removing things usefully, imo.
    Use the uninstaller for speed download - http://www.yazsoft.com/products/speed-download/faqs/?how-to-un-install-speed-dow nload-properly
    or get a hold of FindAnyFile or easyfind & search for Growl & Speeddownload & yazsoft - but from all I hear, the uninstaller works fine.
    Failing that, Safari's settings plist file isn't in caches
    Home/Library/Preferences/com.apple.safari.plist
    is the place
    & if you're still stuck, test & maybe download another browser using a New User Account.

  • Where to download the webcentertutorialcontent.zip file for JDev 10.1.3.x?

    A quick question for the download location of the webcentertutorialcontent.zip file for version 10g (10.1.3.2 or later).
    I am going through the Oracle WebCenter Framework Tutorial 10g (10.1.3.2.0) (document id B31072-02) to gain an understanding of the working mechanism of portlets. The tutorial requires the use of the webcentertutorialcontent.zip file to set up the sample application, and points to http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/webcenter/files/webcentertutorialcontent.zip for downloading the file.
    But that page has been updated to 11g. I was able to find the archived old versions of webcenter, but not that zip file.
    It would very much appreciated if someone knows and let me know where it is.
    Many thanks!
    Newman

    On this page: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/webcenter/documentation/index.html you have a list of all files.
    At the bottom in the Oracle WebCenter 10g (10.1.3.x) section you have a part: Building a WebCenter Application Step by Step Guide with a link to the supported files: http://download.oracle.com/otndocs/tech/webcenter/files/SRDemo_App_Download.zip
    This is from the 10g version...
    You are right that 11g applications does not run on a 10g app server. Oracle 11g fusion middelware uses weblogic as an application server. This does not use the OC4J container anymore.
    11g and 10g have a different licence so if you are using 10g and you want to use 11g, you need to buy a licence for weblogic and so on.
    If you are currently looking into the use of webcenter/portlets and you are planning to use it later on, than oracle will propose 11g because i don't think 10g is supported... I don't think you can buy a webcenter 10g license..
    By the way... You can install jdeveloper 11g in a sepperate middelware folder than your 10g version. This means that you easily can use them together. If you are planning on using webcenter, the best thing to do is install jdeveloper 11.1.1.3 (latest stable version) and install the webcenter extension. This allow you to easily create portlet producers and webcenter applications. You can easily deploy them on the integrated server. This is a lot easier than in the 10g release.

  • Getting a StackOverflowError trying to download big content sync zip file

    We've noticed this happens when trying to download a big Content Sync zip file (typically of around 280MB, although recently we saw the same issue with a 250MB file, so we're not sure of the root cause of this).
    The only prerequisite to reproduce this issue is to configure your content sync to have > 250MB of content (in the form of images, html, js, etc).  The steps to reproduce are the following:
    Navigate to the content sync console URL: /libs/cq/contentsync/content/console.html
    Click on the 'Clear Cache' button.
    Click on the 'Update Cache' button.  No problems up to here, content sync cache (under /var/contentsync) is populated with expected assets and files.
    Click on the 'Download Full' button.  Almost immediately, the app crashes with the following stack trace:

    We've extended the content sync framework by writing 2 ContentUpdateHandler implementations.  Given that the content update process finishes correctly, we dont' think this is the root cause of the problem.
    Any help on this subject is appreciated.

  • Downloading Flash in a zip file

    Hi,
    Is it possible to download Flash Player in a zip file format,
    with only the files NPSWF32.dll, flashplayer.xpt, GetFlash.exe and
    GetFlash.exe.manifest?
    The idea is to unzip those files in Mozilla Firefox's
    \plugins and \components (for flashplayer.xpt) and, after that, we
    have Flash running in a Windows box. We can do it in Linux.
    It'll be nice if Macromedia disposes this kind of download
    for Windows users, especially users like me, who download Firefox
    in zip files (I avoid MSI and EXE installers as much as possible).
    Thanks in advance,
    Wilson.

    Got the solution:
    Here is the way I can write the download a file , unzip it and write onto disk.
    URL url = new URL(urlString);
                   URLConnection connection = url.openConnection();
                   GZIPInputStream zipStream = new GZIPInputStream(connection.getInputStream());
                   byte[] buf = new byte[1024];
                   int len;
                 OutputStream out = new FileOutputStream(outFilename);
                   while ((len = zipStream.read(buf)) > 0)
                      out.write(buf, 0, len);
                   out.close();
