Download 'all' button?

Is there such a thing in iWeb? I know photo galleries in iPhoto gives you a 'download album' button but iWeb seems to only have individual photo downloads, is this correct?

I might add, that you do this by placing the photos in a folder and then right clicking (Control click on a 1 button mouse) on the folder and selecting either Create Archive (OS 10.4 Tiger) or Compress [File Name] (OS 10.5 Leopard) from the pop up contextual menu.

P.S. You might want to fill in the Model and OS fields for your computer on your public profile. This will make it easier for people to assist you.

thanks for the reply.  guess i'll have to do that.  apple, not really happy with what you've done with this latest update.  have not been able to enjoy my music in my car since the update.  most of us dont mind changes that progress timely, but this was much more than just a progression.  this was a complete change.  and not a good one, at all.  thanks to the two people that replied.  appreciate it.

i clicked the download all button at the end of the list of my library iTunes which i believe is in the iCloud, i have iTunes match also, many downloads were reported as occurring over several hours and then received the warning startup disc is full (activity monitor shows 3.99 of 4 GB used) and then another stating the download had not occurred due to the disc being full. most of the tunes still appear to be in the cloud but the disc is said to be full, spent a good period of time trying to investigate what has happened but failed...I'm not well up on all of this as an old chap so any help would be wonderful.....

Thanks Michael, what is the best way of backing up, should buy a cheap standalone external hard drive rather than relying on the Time Capsule which is quite sensitive...
If you read the link I provided you'll get an idea of one way to maintain a backup of your music files, use Time Machine, and not take up as much room on the internal HDD/SSD.

Your internet connection speed has no effect on Time Machine/Time Capsule backups. Since that is all done locally, over your wireless network you actually do not need an internet connection at all.

Also I wondered if I could increase the memory on the setup disk by replacing the 4GB card already in the MBP with 16GB cards, if I upgraded would that affect anything I have stored already like my iTunes?
You're asking about the computer's RAM. Increasing that will not increase the size of the internal storage available to the computer. You'd need to replace the HDD/SSD of the Mac, which, depending on what model you have may or may not be possible (with new models of Macs).

  • The side menu that had the iCloud "download all" button in it is gone and I can't get it back?

This is my first Mac. I have iTines 12. I signed in to iTunes and I was going to download each song that was in the cloud by individually clicking on it, but noticed in the side menu that there was an icloud button that could download all my stuff in the cloud at once. I went to click it and double click or something and the menu turned into it's own window. I didnt like it so I closed out both itunes iwndows, quit itunes and restarted it and the menu with the Icloud download all button has not returned. My brother swears I'm making it up, haha. Ive tried everything!

    Hey There daniellaaaaaa,
First of all, congratulations on your new Mac!  Like most people, one of the first things you want to do is to get all of your music from your old computer into the new one.
The article below explains how to do that.  My personal preference is the suggestion to back up your old iTunes library to an external drive first.  This is preferable to downloading only your iTunes Store purchases from iTunes in the Cloud.

  • Where is the download all button in iTunes on my iPhone?

I know that somewhere on my phone where my music is listed  there's a button that let's me download all my songs from icloud,
instead of doing it one by one. However, I, for the life of me, can not find it anywhere!

not on my phone there isn't, but my sister and i both bought an iphone 6 yesterday and her iphone has the option, mine doesn't, that's why i assumed there was a setting somewhere that allowed it to show. Her phone you go to itunes ap> more> purchased> music> then you get to the bit where it has all of the music, at the top of her phone she has "recently purchased" and "all music" when you go into "all music" it has a download all button!!! with my phone, it has not got the "all music" it only has the "recently purchased" they are both brand new iphone 6 with no data yet on them. I'm confused as to why hers has the function and mine doesn't. There must be a setting somewhere but i've looked and looked and there's nothing. I literally have THOUSANDS of songs, this would take me forever to go into every album. Irony has it that my sisters only has about 300 songs and go figure hers is the one that can download all

  • Upgraded to iTunes 11.2.2.3 on Windows - Download All button missing for Podcasts

After upgrading to iTunes 11.2.2.3 on Windows, now the Download All button is missing in Podcasts.  I used to be able to click an icon with a cloud and an arrow next to the title of the podcast (not next to the title of a specific podcast), and it would download all the available podcasts for that title.  Now the icon is missing, and I have to scroll through a whole list of sometimes 20, 30, 40 podcasts for each title to manually download each one.
I tried reinstalling iTunes.  No change.

Figured this out!!  Go to the bottom right corner where it says Show: Unplayed/My Episodes and Saved.
    Change this to Show: Feed.
You will then want to expand the podcast arrow, and the download all button is there again!  Phew, that was going to be killer.  Let me know if this works for you.

  • Where is the "download all" button for itunes music

So... trying to re download all of my purchased music from my itunes account onto my new iphone 6, however, when i go into itunes store then purchased, the bit where it should have "all music" is gone so i can't go into it and hit the "download all" button, i'm certainly not going to sit there like an idiot one by one pressing the cloud of the hundreds of songs i have on my purchased account. If there is a setting that is preventing it from showing or a different way i can simply and easily download all of my purchased from itunes would be FANTASTIC. Thank you.

  • What is the "Download All" button at the bottom of my playlist and why when I select it songs begin downloading and take up my storage space? If I don't download them the songs will not play correctly....

I have activated iTunes match and iCloud, now when I go to my Music app and choose me 'best' playlist, I see a button at the bottom of the list that says download all.  If I choose this option every song in that playlist begins downloading (near 1,000), this is taking up memory on my phone instead of using the cloud.  If i DO NOT download all of the songs they do not play correctly (skipping certain songs, not playing all the way through, etc.)  What's this all about and what can I do about it?  Why are my songs not just playing through iCloud? I thought that was the point.....

To be honest, you shouldn't need a great 3G service for it to be able to keep up with a song, but if it's a very weak signal then it could be the problem.
Unless you have unlimited 3G then I would recommend using wi-fi anyway, as you could easily run into monthly limits otherwise.
Do you think that it works better with wi-fi than 3G, or just the same? If it is the same then I would have to question whether this is actually your problem.
As to whether you should download songs beforehand, I would say that as a temporary measure it probably makes sense if it's possible as it will download them anyway and that way you get to listen to the music properly. However it does mean that you have to start downloading before you start listening which may be annoying.
I'd be interested to hear whether the performance is better with wi-fi than 3g though. It could be that I'm barking up the wrong tree.

  • How can download all the songs from itunes match to an ipad 2?

I activate itunes match in my Imac, the process of scan and identify the library songs is finished successfully, after that i activate the itunes match in my ipad,  I need download all the songs in the ipad, I select Music Icon and don't appear the (download all) button in the section of songs,  i have to push the cloud button in each song to download?
I enter in the section of albums and playlist and in this section the button download all appears. How can i download all the songs to the device?

I just found the answer by myself.  Instead of clicking Cloud icon one by one, highlight all the songs in Cloud (after sorting by Cloud status) and riight click, download.  Now I am getting all the songs back to my local machine.  I will sync my iOS devices tomorrow and just GET RID OF iTUNES MATCH.  To me, it was a disaster.  Worse than their map app.

  • Is there a way to download all of my music at once from the iCloud

I have uploaded my music to the iTunes Match and would like to download all of the music from the cloud onto my new laptop.  Is there a faster way to do this than clicking on songs one at a time?  I alread tried holding shift and clicking with multiple songs highlighted.

I did this with a playlist that has over 6000 songs, but the "download all" feature seems to only download 100 songs at a time. After that, the rest of the songs just stay with the spinning icon, but never start. I turned off the auto lock feature, and am leaving my iPhone on the charger, and it still happens. I hit the download all button, nothing. I quit and try again, nothing. I have to restart my phone in order to download the next 100, and so on it goes. I even tried turning off iTunes Match to sync music the old fashioned way, but iTunes will not let me sync my music. I tried to manually manage my library, and only 16 of my 6000+ songs transfer. The rest of the music is greyed out, with a dotted circle symbol next to the rest of my library. Music was not purchased through iTunes, so Authorization should not be necessary. I am at a loss. Any help is greatly appreciated.

  • HT201272 How do I download all my past app purchases onto my computer (assume lost them all - no backup)

I bought a new MacBook Pro and I do not have a backup. I do not want to search for all my apps and re-download them. Is there an easy way to download all the app purchases that I have?

You can redownload the apps that are still in your country's store (and if you haven't changed countries since buying them) via the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage :
There should be a 'download all' button at the bottom right of that screen.
If not all of your apps show then check to see if any are hidden : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4919

  • I have iTunes Match: how do I download all my songs

    I have iTunes Match.
I have jut bought a new iPad and want to download all my existing albums. I don't always have Internet access or access to iCloud or iTunes on my MBP, and am happy with duplicating my music on/to all my Apple devices.  I can't find out how to download all my albums/songs in one go rather than one album at a time?  Can anyone help me please.

    Hello ski bum,
Currently you would need to go to each album and download them to get the songs. You do have the option to go to the iTunes Store app and go to More > Purchased > Music > All Songs, there is a Download All button in the upper right hand corner and that will only work for purchased content from the iTunes Store.

  • Problems downloading all episodes

Hello! I am trying to download all the episodes in the podcast "Coffee Break French". I subscribed to the podcast, got the latest episode, but I am unable to download the rest of the episodes, even though they say free next to them. There is no "download all" button. Any ideas? What am I doing wrong? Thanks!

  • Is there a way to download all prior purchases?

I know, go to store than purchased than download all button blah blah... it only downloads one album. There is no way to select all either. I've looked around and some people have been saying there is a all albums/songs option, but I am not seeing it any where! I saw another guy had the issue and I didn't see a resolution to his inquiring of the issue, is there some thing wrong with this version of iTunes? I'm on 12.1.1.

Ringtones are a one time only download. If created/purchased directly on a device they should be transferred into an iTunes library which in turn should be routinely backed up.
