Downloading Analytics previous versions (2.1 and below)

I use ALUI 6.1MP1 and need Analytics to be configured to it. As per the Interoperability matrix, it supports Analytics 2.1. I can find only ver 2.5 at edelivery.oracle.com. Where can I get ALUI Analytics 2.1 from?

Analytics 2.1 is available to download through Metalink (My Oracle Support) as a patch, although it is a complete installer. If you login and navigate to the "Patches & Updates" tab, choose a "Simple Search" and search for patch number 7836973. That's the Windows installer. If you need an installer for a different OS, you can choose to search by "Product or Family", enter "wcianlyt", enter "WCIANLYT 2.1" for the release and choose your platform. Other patforms available for that release are IBM AIX Based Systems (64-bit), Linux x86 SUSE, Linux x86 RedHat and Sun Solaris SPARC (64-bit).

Login to the Service Market Place using your S-user ID. Then browse to:
Support Portal -> Software Downloads -> Analytics Solutions -> Support Packages and Patches -> C -> Crystal Reports Server 2008 V1
You're only allowed to see the products you've purchased in the downloads section. If you can't see the product in here then it either means that the product hasn't been purchased or the profile hasn't been updated in which case you can get in touch with your account manager or log a ticket with SAP.

Should I install Crystal Reports Enterprise SP01 or SP03?

Hi All
We are using BO 4.1 SP02 and are now getting round to installing Crystal Reports Enterprise. I have two questions I can't find answers for:
1. Should I be installing SP01 or SP03 of CRE. Our BO platform is SP02, but there is no CRE SP02, so I should choose to go with the older SP01 or the newer SP03.
2. We have 2 servers. The main one is for the bobj platform, the second is for Explorer. I want to install CRE and Dashboards alongside Explorer on the second server. Any know issues with this approach?

It is always recommended to install same versions of Client Tools as the BO Server.
I could spot both the incremental upgrade and the full build for Crystal Reports for Enterprise - SP02 on the Server Market Place.

How to download all columns in analytics

Hi,
We are using obiee 10g. In criteria we are having 10 columns. but in results we are displaying only 8 columns.
Out requirement is when we download excel/cvs, we need to get all the 10 columns.
Please let us know.

1) with 8 columns (dont enable Report link --> Download)
2) All your columns and show it under same report by using embedded link /Link use the url

where can i download Siebel analytics to get a feel of the product. Especially the dashboards.

It's not located here so that means you probably have to go to here to get it.

Where is the difference between Download Started and Download Completed. Why is both shown in the Analytics-Tool?

Check folio download numbers | Analytics

Hi everyone,
in Analytics > Folio > All download
I have
37 download started,
12 download completed,
10 download errors
and 7 download cancelled.
I'm a little confused. I think the sum of completed + errors + cancelled (12+10+7=29) should give the started download result...
The difference of 8, what does it mean?

There could be 3 causes why the sum of Issue Download (Completed + Errors+ Cancelled) is different than Issue Download Started:
User starts to download folio A ('Issue Download Started' event is sent for folio A). Before the current download ends, user starts to download folio B. In this case, another 'Issue Download Started' event is sent for folio B, but folio A will remain in 'Download Paused' state without reaching a final Download state (Completed/Errors/Cancelled). Only if the user will tap again on the folio A, the download will be resumed. This is most probably the cause why you are seeing different numbers
User will start the download in the current day, but the final download state will be send in the next day. In this case, if the selected interval ends today, then the raport will not contain the final Download state
If the user has opt-in dialog enabled, it can select 'Don't Allow' tracking after the dowload starts and before the download will reach a final state. In this case, the events will not be sent

Google Analytics and tracking unique downloads

I have a resource page with .pdfs and .ppts
What do I need to do to track if a user clicks on these links?
Is there also an extra step I need to take to track if they successfully downloaded the target completely?
I heard one solution is to make a single sub-web page for each download item and stick an analytics snippet in to the page as one way to track, but this sounds tedious and not very efficient. Is there something that can track this on the fly?

Here's a solution that may work. Just tried it today. May see results tomorrow.
Get the Google analytics code.
Open TextEdit and set it to plaintext.
Paste the code WITHOUT these opening and closing tags :

Save the file as analytics.js
Put the file on the server and determine the URL to it.
Create a blank page (for testing) and paste this code in a HTML Snippet.

Where it says *newScript.src = '../js/analytics.js';* use your own URL.
Publish the page.
Visit your page and open the Activity window in Safari (Comand-Option-A)
Note the 2 URLs to Google. They look the same as with code that is pasted in a page.
Tomorrow check with Google to see if your page appears in the stats.
Call your friends and family and tell them to visit the page. More visitors may show more results.
If it works, fine.
If not, then I'm mistaken and will sob in a corner.

How can I download report information present in Analytics tab of Oracle Cloud Service RightNow CX to a csv file? I need to automate this for daily run

I am working on a project where I need to download certain report data from RightNow Oracle Cloud Service to a csv file and process it into the warehouse. I have seen certain articles in Oracle stating about Dotnet API and PHP API but not sure if it can use them. Also I am not very confident with either Dotnet or PHP.
Is there any other approach that I can use to download the data, can it be done through curl?
Please suggest.

Downloading Error in Siebel Analytics 7.8.5 OBI Reports

Hi Guys,
I have come across a peculiar problem in which i can see that when i am trying to download report into excel or csv format, some rows are getting missed. My report has 2059343 rows but it is just downloading around 143000 rows in downloaded Excel or CSV file.. Can anyone please suggest if we need to change any parameter or if there is any such limitation ?

My Office Version is MS 2003..I tried downloading in csv and opening it in linux box. Still it shows me the same number of rows !

How does Analytics count the folio downloads?

I'm trying to set a price for our paid folios, based on how many times the free ones were downloaded. But we had to do some updates to the folios, so when the folio is downloaded again does it count as a new download?

In analytics, what happened to all the downloads started?

In one of my folios i have 99 downloads started - pretty good i thought.
But out of those only 20 were completed, 6 had download errors and 17 were cancelled... that's only 43.
What happened to the other 46?
Any help would be appreciated - i'm sure others must be wondering the same thing.

Indeed, there was a similar post few days ago.

Google Analytics OPT-OUT Browser Add-on 0.9.6 doesn't retain OPT-OUT settings...never did really. Also JAVA now refuses to create updates for WinXP/FireFox.

I use PaleMoon now trying to get rid of advertising sharks. I have WINXP still - need assistive-technology computer for pain so taking time on getting new computer.
I have been severely sabotaged by advertising conglomerates selling my private information. They have no right -yet they do whatever they want. Anyhow...I've tried to OPT-OUT of EVERYTHING POSSIBLE. I've tried 5 places found. Google, NAI, DAA, & FIREFOX HELP said go to about:config was instructed to turn "from false to true" the "privacy.tracking.protection.enabled" .But I couldn't keep this setting because this also has to be set to false to use any saved log-on's to my accounts., and add-on AD BLOCK PLUS 2.6.7 when I was on Firefox & had some ticks and now it is disabled because it won't work with PaleMoon 25.2.1

These 1st 2 links used to have the same trouble and didn't retain ANYTHING and wouldn't re OPT-OUT ANY UNTIL THEY WERE SATIATED - saying I didn't have 3rd party cookies allowed when I did - this took hours.
I sent numerous trouble reports to them that they ignored - then I think I sent one to Firefox and it is much better but still not completely right. Today DAA retains 106 out of 122 and if I repeatedly RE-OPT-OUT successively I can get it to 121 out of 122 - never completely. (currently the one not taking is Accuen Inc. but it changes periodically - makes me think they set one up to take my info and then share it with all of them - lol )
Same for NAI currently I started with 94 out of 96 - next re-OPTED-OUT got it to 95 out of 96 and no further and same co. Accuen Inc (accuenmedia.com ) wouldn't update.
NOTE: I was copy/pasting the list of NON-OPT-OUT'S to them and my own document file to try and find trends/problems...now NAI programmers protected the list from being able to be COPIED AND PASTED!!! That's the opposite of being open and interested in making this work, right? Why would they want to allow us to OPT-OUT of their criminal espionage behavior...RIGHT? (lol) FYI: I recorded that the big one that was always retained before this one was...MEDIA MATH INC.
MANY Opt-outs would drop off while on-line and ALL would drop-off once logged-off. Now it's retaining most once logged off - but it hasn't been long enough to tell if they'll fall back into their bad habits as they've done before...
This has been going on forever for me - I've been reporting this malfunction since 2013.
Of course I downloaded PROTECT MY CHOICES FOR FIREFOX via NAI AND DAA'S links ...http://www.aboutads.info/PMC#protect-your-choices-for-firefox ............they both go to the same place???.....PROTECT MY CHOICES http://www.aboutads.info/plugin/install/firefox....that seems odd...it's as if they are the same entity then. ABOUTADS is DAA'S WEBSITE. NAI'S IS NETWORKADVERTISING.ORG so why would NAI use DAA'S PROTECT MY CHOICES app?
Lastely, I also requested that the COOKIES NAMES BE UNIFORMLY IDENTIFIABLE. All the OPT-OUT COOKIES that are to be forevermore retained on my computer and that I am to trust the EVERY FUNCTION OF - well they all have different COOKIE NAMES!! Most of the names you can not tell that they are OPT-OUT COOKIES!! - SO NOWWW They have created another problem.
We can no longer just "DELETE ALL COOKIES".
PLUS, we can no longer go through our cookies and delete individual ones that snuck through.
Every one of the OPT-OUT COOKIES SHOULD SAY "OPT-OUT" IWITHIN THEIR NAME OF THEIR COOKIE - PERIOD. RIGHT? (LOL) For real. Why was this mess was allowed?
REALLY IN MY OPINION THESE COMPANIES SHOULD BE BLOCKED AT THE LOCAL PHONE COMPANIES LEVEL - IN OUR SERVERS. We should not have to deal with them. Same thing with viruses, malware and such beasts. But I digress.
In summary:
1.)Google Analytics OPT-OUT Browser Add-on 0.9.6 doesn't retain OPT-OUT settings
2.) JAVA refuses to create updates for WinXP/FireFox/PaleMoon.
3.) DAA & NAI still don't retain ALL OPT-OUT settings and never completely OPT-OUT all companies.
4.) OPT-OUT cookies should be uniformly names with the words OPT-OUT in their titles.
5.) Ad Block Plus 25.6.7 doesn't work for Pale Moon and there is no alternative - (didn't work great in FireFox)
Right now I'm mainly interested in #1)retaining my GOOGLE OPT-OUTS while on line AND while logged off since it is attacking my computer and steeling all the speed until it freezes my keyboard.
Currently I am trying to remember to run through 3. OPT-OUTS every time I log on.
