Download and installation of iphone 3.0 software won't because itunes says
I recently installed the new updated itunes on an hp computer because I wanted to update my iphone to 3.0. However, after the download was completed, I tried to download and install the iphone 3.0 (clicking on "update"), but encountered a message that says, "itunes could not contact the iphone software update server because you are not connected to the internet". My internet is working fine and I have restarted my computer over several times.
If you have updated itunes, you will need to re-allow itunes and itunes helper in you security software firewall. Especially if you are using Norton or McAffee

Go to system preferences/language & text/language and use the Edit button to uncheck the box for Magyar/Hungarian and restart.

All languages are now in one firmware version. After firmware update you will need to select your Language and Region preference.
• Remove any external card from the Clip Jam before performing firmware update
• Ensure your battery is > 50% full.
• Plug in your SanDisk Clip Jam to your computer.
• Download and save the upgrade.hex file linked above to a folder on your computer.
• Drag the file to the root directory of your SanDisk Clip Jam
• Disconnect the SanDisk Clip Jam and let the firmware update begin.
• Once it finishes doing its update, it will turn itself off.
• Turn the Clip Jam on, Select your language and region preference
• Once it is back to the main menu, head to "Settings" >"System Settings"> "Info", and verify the "Version" is now 1.03".this is the first shipping FW. there are no release notes for changes because this is the first release.

You would have to purchase a retail Leopard installer DVD. Since they are difficult to find you may need to search on eBay, Amazon.com, and Google to find a suitable copy.

My iPhne is 4S, after I downloading the latest OS 5.1 and extracting and verifying, it came to a point on iTunes where it could not at all, activate my iPhone. A message popped up on iTunes saying - "There is a problem with your iPhone"; We're sorry, the iPhone you connected may be damaged and cannot be activated for service. We recommend that you visit your nearest Apple Store for more information. Please kindly suggest me how to do.
Not surprised that you took a paragraph from my post to repost the same issue.
It is a hardware/software fault which you'll have to get the iPhone replaced if you're under warranty. -

(expected was to activate the program and the sarting the PE12)

I'm having problems upgrading from 10.6.8 to Yosemite. My computer locks up after the download and installation process. Does anyone know how I can overcome this problem?
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions
Boot from your Snow Leopard Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the installer.
If DU reports errors it cannot fix, then you will need Disk Warrior and/or Tech Tool Pro to repair the drive. If you don't have either of them or if neither of them can fix the drive, then you will need to reformat the drive and reinstall OS X. -
The additional content downloads and installs, but it won't show up in my Logic Pro X. I cannot find the "Library" folder where this additional content is downloaded to and can't seem to activate the new loops and instruments in my Logic Pro X (i.e. loops are still greyed out). Any solutions?
similar problem that I'm hoping revives this thread. Took over 24hrs to dload additional content (after another full day for the actual problem) due to a bad dload rate. so quitted, and relocated closer to my wifi router. Restart, open logic x, Menu bar: Logic Pro/ Download Additional content ...Tells me i have no internet connection.... Ahh... I do, I'm using it right now! Tried restarting and relaunching. same thing every time.
Any clues?

Have you tried resetting network settings, then unplugging modem and router from power for 40 seconds then plugging back in letting the lights stabilize and Then recconecting with the ipod>? -

I am trying to download and install the iOS 7.1 software that was sent thought general on my iPad 4 th generation it keeps saying there was an error downloading it, what do I do now?
First try resetting your iPad and then try updating again.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
If it still will not work, try updating using iTunes. But before you do that, disable your firewall and your antivirus software, then try the update again. -
Every time I try to download and update my Iphone it says the network connection was interrupted and to check it and try again. It says this when I try to update my iPhone AND my iTunes It never lets me upgrade! Can anyone help me?
