Download and Refresh Option in (image or link section)

Hi All,
If i click image(report image) in my metric i want to show report with download and refrsh option.can u please help me how to do in obiee.
using link or image---download and refrsh options are not coming in report.

Try with the GO URL concept, when u click the image you are going to show a report using GO URL.
Sample
saw.dll?GO&Path=<report path>&options=fdr
here the options "fdr" means
f= Printer friendly
d = Download
r = Refresh

Download and refresh button in Dashboard

Hi,
I have a chart report and table report in the same section of a dashboard. How to have a common Download and Refresh button at the end for both the reports. If I use the report links in both the "reports link" of teh report I get two sets and one is in the middle of the section. If I use the one in the end, it downloads only the second report. Is it possible to do both with one refresh and download, and how can it be done.

If the table report and the chart report are completely different, then I don't know how you would do that (except for using the dashboard refresh button and the very bottom left of the dashboard page).
But if they are of the same columns, you can create a pivot table to mimic a regular table and check the "chart pivoted results" to have a chart of that data. Then you will have only one refresh and download for both table and chart.

I cannot update software on my iPhone. I am missing the Download and Install option. Could someone please help?

I have tried deleting apps to make space so this doesn't appear to be the issue.

Creative Cloud's "Apps" keeps on buffering, won't show any downloads and "quit" option is disabled.

I downloaded and audio book from itunes on my computer and it will not play

I downloaded Mansfield Park audio edition from itune to my laptop. I download went well but it will not play on my laptop. I have even tried deleteing book and re-downloading but same thing happens.

Only half of the book will download and play from my ipod. Help!

I have purchased several audio books on itunes. Most of them download and play just fine. There are four or five of them that download in two separate halves. The entire book will download and play from the itunes library on my computer. However, only the first half of each book will download and play on my ipod. The other half shows up on my ipod, but it is greyed out and won't play.

HT1725 I followed the steps on how to resume a download and I had to pay for a tv show twice and it still didn't download!

Please help! It was about a month ago but the initial download failed I followed the steps on iTunes help on how to resume it but I was charged again! Error when downloading from a certain website. image scrambled. (kepguru.hu)

I have been downloading wallpapers from kepguru.hu for about a year, with no difficulty or errors. This (hungarian) site is successful and user friendly, even though I do not understand the language. 
About 3 weeks ago, this all just stopped working for me. I can access the website, view pages of thumbnails, and reach the big thumbnail stage. But when I click on download, and wait for the image to load, all I get is a partial, and scrambled image. In other words, it is as if the image has been cut into pieces and put back together in the incorrect order. 
I have tried almost every setting I can think of, including resetting Firefox....twice, with no positive results. If I opt to 'reload' the tab/page, Firefox tells me "the image cannot be displayed because it contains errors". (it is not possible that every one of the millions of images on this site can suddenly contain errors.) 
I have written to kepguru.hu directly enquiring as to whether there are problems with the site, and they have replied in the negative, and suggested I try a different browser. 
I downloaded, and tried Google Chrome and internet explorer. I have also tried Google, Bing and Yahoo as search engines and all these produce exactly the same results. 
I do not think the problem is with my computer, since I have 3 computers in the house all working independently of each other, and the results are the same on all of them. 
I am connecting by means of dsl/wireless router/wifi. My computer is protected by Kaspersky anti virus. 
I sincerely hope that there is someone who can help me find a solution to this problem.

You can check the network.http.* prefs on the about:config page. 
Reset network.http prefs to the default value via the right-click context menu -> Reset if they are user set (bold).

Try to boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps.

Download and Install No Longer Saves .pkg

Has anyone else noticed that although the Download and Install option remains in Software Update, it no longer works as it did in Tiger? In Tiger, when you made this selection the software downloaded, installed, optimized, then brought up a window to the /Library/Packages folder showing the location of the software just downloaded and installed. In Leopard, this folder no longer exists, and making this selection behaves just as if you just told it to install the software.
If you search your hard drive for the name of the .pkg, it doesn't exist (suggesting that it was downloaded to a temporary location, installed, and deleted).
I frequently use this option to save a copy of the .pkg locally so I don't have to download it again if I need it later.
I've just created an empty folder in my /Library folder to see if the next time I try this, it will save it to this folder, as it used to.

Yes, I noticed this odd behavior as well. Can find no trace of the packages of the two updates I ran the other day (the Login & Keychain one, and an ProAppsUpdaters). The Receipts folder is also structured differently than it was. I did find the bom for the Login update, but not for ProApps. And what's in Receipts is JUST the bom, rather than a pkg containing a bunch of stuff, as used to be the case. One guy said that you have to deliberately go to Apple downloads and explicitly download whatever it is, so it is a two step process now, rather doing it all in one fell swoop.

All languages are now in one firmware version. After firmware update you will need to select your Language and Region preference.
• Remove any external card from the Clip Jam before performing firmware update
• Ensure your battery is > 50% full.

• Download and save the upgrade.hex file linked above to a folder on your computer.
• Drag the file to the root directory of your SanDisk Clip Jam

this is the first shipping FW. there are no release notes for changes because this is the first release.

Software update - download and save

The loss of the download and save option in software updates is a serious issue for people like me who do not have the luxury of a fast connection. Typically an OS updatetakes 5-6 hours. So we download and save to use on multiple machines.
Downloading from the website is not an option because if I download more than about 2 at once the connection drops. In the past I could leave the updater on overnight and download all the updates sequentially. Now I have to stay up overnight to do this!
Can anyone advise me of if there is a workround. How can I stop my Mac destroying the update after installing?
And please Apple can you restore the download and install later option. The message I'm getting is that you have little interest any more in your developing world clients.

Just a note to let you know that Apple won't restore the download and save option. at least that was their response to my bug reports noting that it was missing.
If you want to report this issue to Apple, send a bug report or an enhancement request via its Bug Reporter system. To do ths, join the Apple Developer Connection (ADC)—it's free and available for all Mac users and gets you a look at some development software. Since you already have an Apple username/ID, use that. Once a member, go to Apple BugReporter and file your bug report or enhancement request. The nice thing with this procedure over submitting feedback is that you get a response and a follow-up number; thus, starting a dialog with engineering.
Finally, the *softwareupdate --list* command manually in the Terminal app will tell you what's available for updates.
