Downloaded Aperture from the Apps store, an it is listed there as an installed purchase. Never got an email with the serial number and it thinks it is trial version. Please help

If you bought from the App Store (and you could only have done that if your profile is incorrect, it ways you are running 10.5.7) there is no serial number. Apps authorize using the appleid used to purchase them.
So what makes you think the app thinks its a trial version? Has the trial version been installed on your system at anytime in the past?

I did not have my backup with me when my hard drive failed and was replaced at the Apple store. Now it will not download to my new hard drive. A message says that "the volume has the worng case sensitivity for a backup". How can I resore my data from the backup?

Download them to iTunes abd then sync the apps. Make an appointment with Apple and see what the problem is.

I was in the middle of creating a document when I went to save it and was told I needed to buy the full version. So, I did and not only did I lose my work because I had to close the program- I never receieved any serial number or correspondence as to how to use the full version. It has been installed on the computer but when I open it stills says I need to download a full version. ugh

This means that at some time you had the iWork ’09 trial installed. You need to delete the trial & then reinstall from the boxed DVD or the Mac App Store. The files to delete are the iWork ’09 folder from the main HD > Applications; the iWork ’09 folder in HD > Library > Application Support & the individual iWork application plist files found in HD > Users > (your account) > Library > Preferences for each user. Yvan Koenig has written an AppleScript that removes the files. You can find it on his box.com account in for_iWork'09 > other_iWork'09 items > uninstall iWork '09.zip.

When you restored did you restore from a backup or from a fresh install?
Sometimes when you restore from a backup you will get corrupt files that will continue to show up as long as you are restoring from that back up.

So I bought the Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended and followed all the instructions. I wanted to do a trial run and since it's ended I was ready to license it and then it asks for a serial number. So I checked through my emails and it didn't tell me my serial number so I went online to see how I can get it. It's not on my box or CD or anything. I was never emailed a serial number. Please help? Thanks petermac87...but for some reason, the only purchases showing are OS. So assuming iPhoto is in Mountain Lion, I was hoping to look under Hidden Items there as you suggested, but there is no option for that. Only option is to download Mountain Lion again, not iPhoto specifically. Any ideas welcome!
