Download app on different machines

Can I download an app from the app store on more than one machine? Or do I have to pay for it seperately each time?

You can re download apps using the same Apple ID used for the original purchase (or free) on all your authorized Macs.
How to re download apps from the Mac App Store:
Open the App Store. From the menu bar click Store > Sign In
Click Purchases from the top of the App Store window.
Select which apps you want to re download. Then right or control click where you see Installed then click Install.
Make sure and use the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.

I am at work and wanted to download an App that was 150meg. The app is too big via 3G so bought it via my work PC (and paid £12.00 for it !!!) using the same account login details as home.
Now, I am trying to get this app on my iPhone but i am unable to do this without erasing all the current apps i have on my iPhone...
Can anyone shed any light on this ?
Have i wasted my money ? Or can i download this app on my home PC when i get home ?
Is there any way i can get it on my iPhone without deleting the other apps ?
Any help is greatly received.

Try to redownload the app at your home computer. Since you can sync only to one itune library you can't downlaod and sync onto another without erasing the content from the other one.
If you use wifi on your phone you can downlaod the app directly and do the "transfer purchases" at home. (right click on your iphone in the device list)

Hi Demsie. You have 2 options.
1. You can transfer all the Apps on your iPhone to your work computer and then resync the phone. You'll need to be sure to only sync the Apps with your phone and leave all other options unchecked or data on the phone could be lost.. Syncing replaces the contents of your phone with the contents of the iTunes Library. If your library has no music and you sync Apps and music, then you'll end up with no music on your phone. But if that does occur, you can always resync the phone to your home computer.
2. You can download the App once you get home, and sync it to your phone then. You can download all Apps again for free, as long as you are signed into the account that was used to purchase it.

I purchased the Creative Cloud suite. Can different members of my team use different apps? I'm a video editor using Premier but my webmaster would want to use Dreamweaver, etc. He doesn't use my machine and I don't use his.

I'm not clear what you are trying to say. If you have CC for Teams, then ultimately it doesn't matter which programs the individual team members actually use as long as it's part of the subscription plan.

Problem running Automator .app on different machine

Hello,
I have written an Automator application (QuitTunes.app) that resides on my Mac No 1 machine. It quits iTunes when invoked for my Mac No 1.
I have another Automator application (RunQuitTunes.app) that resides on my Mac No 2 machine. It runs QuitTunes.app which is located on Mac No 1.
When I run RunQuitTunes.app from Mac No 2 both apps run, but the problem is that iTunes quits on machine Mac No 2 instead of Mac No 1.
Any ideas....

Downloading app in different country

Hi, I am an event producer who's moving into new markets. I use apps within the context of launch events and now that I am moving into a new market I was positively surprised by the response I got and today I have been challenged to organize an event on 22-Oct
Now the issue is, my app is registered in one country only and I obviously cannot download it from my target country.
Is there a way I can request an extension of the countries where my app can be downloaded? Is that something that can be done in a couple days? Is there another way other than the "normal" going around Apple's Ts & Cs and "creating new accounts"? I do not support that AND my customers cannot be bothered to jump that many hoops...

To confirm; this is an app you have developed and made available through the ITunes Store, correct? If so, you should be able to change this through the Managing Your Applications section of iTunes Connect, though I'm not certain. If you can't figure out how to do this, contact developer support via the link at the bottom of the page in iTunes Connect.

If you upgraded to Lion through the App Store, it is totally possible. You would go to the App Store, go to the store menu at the top and go to purchases. You could redownload Lion again.

Can I move downloaded mountain lion to different machine?

Weird internet connection at office (DNS server settings or some other gremlin that's beyond my expertise) won't let computers download Mountain Lion from App Store. Other apps are fine, could be a size issue not sure. Anyway, I downloaded to another machine using another internet connection (different location). Can I move that download to different machine? Yes as long as these are both your computers. Transfer target disk mode, USB flash drive, external HD, DVD, Dropbox, etc
Are the computer close by and portable or at a distance?? This might dictate how you move your download.

Try this:
Open the iTunes app, select the Music tab, then scroll all the way down to the bottom. Here you can sign out of any current Apple ID and sign into a new one. Good luck!
And just in case there is another Apple ID linked to your account you can check at http://appleid.apple.com.

All apps are tied forever to the Apple ID used to obtain them, that is also true with In-App purchases.
Content bought using one Apple ID cannot be merged or transferred to another Apple ID.

It is now the same icon appearing on all newly downloaded apps. Does anyone know what is happening here? Even updating an older game app resulted in the original game icon changing to the new identical icon that all new apps are appearing with. This new icon is like a page with a ruler, pencil and paintbrush. Any tips on how to stop this or how to revert to the icon as it appears on the app store would be appreciated.
