Download apps -help !

When I tried to set up credit card for Apps for iPad mini, it was unable to complete the process and it said to contact iTunes support. I don't understand. Can someone please explain to me how you download your first app ? I didn't think it was this complicated.

Actually its not ambiguous at all: You need to contact iTunes support to get it corrected.
Follow the link provided, click on the iTunes Store link and follow the directions. For what ever reason, there appear to be an issue with your payment method. Only a respesentative from Apple can help you with it.

Well, you still haven't told us the particulars of what you're doing. But clearly you are asking your iPad to do a lot of downloading at the same time.
My recommendation:
Reset your iPad by holding the on/off and home buttons together for about 10 seconds till the Apple logo appears.
Sync your iPad using iTunes on your computer. Let iTunes bear the downloading and/or burden for you.
In the future, when it comes to updating over-the-air, do one thing at a time.

Error 1004 and 1013: These errors may be the result of the connection to gs.apple.com being redirected or blocked. Follow these steps to resolve these errors:

Check the hosts file. The restore will fail if there is an active entry to redirect gs.apple.com. Follow iTunes: Advanced iTunes Store troubleshooting to edit the hosts file or revert to default on Windows. See section "Blocked by configuration: (Mac OS X/Windows) > Rebuild network information".
Try to restore from another known-good computer and network.

Ipod touch prompting me for security information required then asking me to fill in 3 questions and answers but will bump me out of it and will not allow me to download app, help

Jusat the other day i started getting prompted for Security Information required when trying to download apps. on my Ipodtouvh 4Gen. Typically when I download an app. I get asked for my apple ID and then it will allow the download. This new prompt pops up after it looks like the app is downloading. It gives me the option to cancel which will not allow the download or I have to select Security information. It then brings me to a screen where it asked for three questions but as I put the questions and answers in it bumps me back to the screen of the app I was trying to doenload. Any clues???

this has recently been happening to other people. We think that it is a fault at apples end of the line. However in the cases i have seen the problem fixes itself and it goes back to normal after a day or 2 you just have to wait!

There are a variety of acceptable forms of payment. If you don't want to use a credit card purchase and enter an iTunes gift card. You will not be charged for free apps but you do need to have an acceptable form of payment entered at this point.

4.3.3 new feature, re-download apps help

Ok. I have Ipod touch 4g 8gb. Just downloaded 4.3.3. Cool new feautures and all BUT, one new feature, the ability to re-download all ready purchased apps on the ipod's app store isnt working. I go onto the apps store on my ipod, go on updates, press purchased, click on the app and then when i hit the litte blue button that says install, nothing happens. Help?
P.S My ipod is not synced to an itunes library. Is this a problem? It is NOT jailbroken either

i have no clue but i just pressed the erase all button in the ipod and now min wont work. just to say it was jailbroken. after i while i got the computer to reconize it but now the new software downloads all the way but doesnt finish at the end it says 653.3mb/653.3mb then error please help me!!!!

Hi, I have a nokia 5530 XM. I t had a few troubles at the beginning so i had to format the memory card and it's fine now. But i've lost all my apps and i go to the store to re download them but the download button is darker and it wont let me re download them any ideas on how to do this ?

What is the exact error message you are getting?
Would it be possible to collect the following log files from
LBS.log, DLM.log & DLM_Native.log
and zip them up to a single zip file and upload them to Creative Cloud, set the upload as public and available for download and then share the link here?
You log files will be stored in the user temp directory on Windows, you can access it by putting %TEMP%\AdobeDownload in a run prompt
or
Mac : ~/Library/Logs/AdobeDownload

I'm having the same problems. Can't even find out if Apple is working on it. Tried to downgrade but is not supported by apple so error 3194 comes up which is verifying with the apple web site. Which then stops everything. I understand you can modify the "hosts" file to by pass the issue, but hate doing that as it gets involved. May try it if I can't get any satisfaction from apple.

You can create a new Apple ID without using a credit card for download free apps by following this guide: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2534. Follow it exactly as writtien. Note that you have to download and try to install a free app and then create the ID.
