Download Assist with Error 0

How do I get pas the download assistant when it keeps coming up with error 0? This is for the trial version of CS6 Design Web Version.

  • Adobe Download Assistant gives error after finishing downloading, why?

    I have downloaded the trial version of CS5.5 Master Collection twice. But when the download is completed Adobe Download Assistant gives Error and cannot install the software. I go check in the download folder and there's nothing there. My laptop haas ample available storage space (478 GB), running Windows 7 Home Edition, 64-bit.
    I tried with smaller file (Photoshop CS5.1 Trial), same story.
    Can someone please give me direct download links for following trial softwares:
    1. Photoshop CS5.1 Trial
    2. CS5.5 Master Collection

    Note that you have to follow their instructions carefully and exactly.
    By the way, the word "software" is not pluralized by adding an 's' on the end.  Thus "softwares" is incorrect usage.  Just say "software" or "software packages" instead.

    Isabellasf have you ran the installation files which were downloaded?  By default they are downloaded to the download folder within your User folder.

    adobe download assistant gives Error 100  when  I click either sign in or create user id.
    As advised.
    Uninstalled it.
    deleted the directory C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Roaming\com.adobe.downloadassistant.AdobeDownloadAssistant \Local Store
    as advised
    cleared cookies in browser
    disabled Antivirus
    restarted Adobe assistant again
    Still the same Error 100
    Spend 3 days on this but no success.
    Wanted to try Acrobat XI trail.  and other way to download the trial ?

    I would hope so.  But consistent error 100's with nothing but that is strange.   MS is likely stopping it.
    The tool just comes up and sits there.  When I press connect it comes back with an error code.  Nothing
    else.  No information of any kind that was useful.
    I had to remove it from my computer since it refused to do anything and I had it installed several times.
    The process has huge flaws in the business plan of Adobe. 
    I have been a long time buyer of your software and have 4 packages on this computer. 
    But something went wrong in a board meeting and loss of business reports have to take place now.
    I refuse to use a CLOUD only device.   I don't trust Clouds and have no reason to.  I'm also concerned that
    I could not just download a compressed file that would install.
    I'm 68, and former Very large company IT / Designer that kept the early days of you up and going.
    I had hoped to upgrade, but now I wonder why.
    You work for the 20 year old types and not for all of us.  You forget there are many retired people out there
    that buy software they have used for years.  Now it is made in a funny way that wards us off.
    The monthly bill is only good for senior citizens if there is an automatic break every year to re-up.  Then only
    a finite amount of money might be taken from a dead persons bank doing harm to the widow or child.

  • Adobe Download Assistant communication error(Error 107) only when I download After Effects CS5.5

    I've been trying to download the After Effects CS5.5 Trial for over a month now and it is really frustrating because I don't have a problem downloading any other adobe trial just After Effects CS5.5, it says I have a communication error (Error 107) and I know I really don't because I can download any other trial from Adobe Download Assistant. I reallly need help to try to download this program. I don't know if it is that I'm in another country, my server, or something relevant but i would really aprecite it if you could tell me why this is happening.

    Can't download a trial because the download assistant continues to give this error:
    "The application cannot be installed due to a certificate problem.  The certificate does not match the installed application certificate, does not support application upgrades, or is invalid.  Please contact the application author."

    I'm trying to get the pse11 trial and i download and install the download assistant but when I try to open it I get an error and it says it is misconfigured. How to solve?

    I downloaded the Download Assistant, but when I open it and choose the folder I want to Download the trial version of InDesign 5.5 nothing happens and trying again I get an error message: There is already a product waiting to be added (Error 106)...I wait and wait but nothing happens!? What do I do???

    What folder are you choosing to download the install files too?  I would recommend choosing the default which is your User folder or your Desktop.
    Alternately you can follow the steps listed at http://forums.adobe.com/thread/981369 to initiate a direct download.

    Can not download the Trial version of Acrobat Pro.  When trying to open the Download Assistant, the following error message:
    Sorry, an error has occurred.
    The application cannot be installed due to a certificate problem.

    Please contact the application author.

    Ec.argos this an Adobe AIR error message.  You will want to remove the current installation of the Adobe Download Assistant and reinstall.

    It says it cannot connect to Adobe.com but my connection is fine. I've restarted after closing the program several times and I've even tried different networks. Any help would be valuable to me. Thanks!

  • Download stopped with error = -50

    I purchased something on the iTunes store and now the download does not finish.  It errors out at 120.1 MB with a status of stopped (err= -50)  My internet is working (obviously as I am posting this from it).  I have tried the download from my PC and from my iPad.  The PC has been rebooted.  I have tried my ISP's DNS server as well as the Google DNS and neither makes any difference.
    Is anyone else experiencing this?

  • Trial of premier elements 13 download assistant gives error: installer file damaged.  I have a windows 8 lenovo computer

    I was hoping to trial premier elements 13 but each time I try I get an error message: "Sorry, an error has occured. The application could not be installed because the installer file is damaged. Try obtaining a new installer file from the application author."
    I've tried chrome & internet explorer.  I've tried deleted the install assistant from my applications (it's not there).  & I have administrative rights on my computer.  I have CS5 design premium installed on my computer already.  Not sure what else to try...please help.

    Hartmiller if you are unable to download Photoshop Elements 13 then you may want to try the links offered in Adobe Photoshop Elements 13 Direct Download Links, Premiere too | ProDesignTools.  Please make sure to complete the Very Important Instructions prior to scrolling down the page and clicking on the download link.
    If you wish to download a fresh copy of the installation files for Photoshop Elements 12 they can be downloaded at Download Photoshop Elements products | 12, 11, 10.

  • Podcast download stopped with error -5000 in iTunes

    I have been continually getting these "stopped (err = -5000)" errors whilst trying to download podcasts. Weird because I can connect to the iTunes Store.
    Some research I've done suggests this is a permissions error. I have just installed Windows 7 Home Premium. I tried right clicking the iTunes media folder (that all downloaded content is stored) and changing the security settings to "all access" but nothing helped.
    Any other suggestions please?

    As you say, it appears to be a permissions error. From that page I noticed that you need to check the permissions of all the folders inside the iTunes music folder.
    If the folder structure is the same as Windows XP, then inside the iTunes Music folder will be a specific folder for Podcasts, called (unsurprisingly) Podcasts.
