Download Assistant freezes, can't sign in

I'm having trouble with Download Assistant, trying to downloading a trial copy of Dreamweaver. It appears to launch, then freezes, and I have to force quit to get out of it. Any suggestions?

Could you run a small test? Sign-in with incorrect credentials and see if you get a valid error.

If you can't access the App Store from the Apple menu, Dock, or Applications folder installing the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo will reinstall the App Store for you.
It's ok to do this even you are already running v10.6.8.

FYI: Some third party software can cause issues with the App Store > Mac App Store: Sign in sheet does not appear, or does not accept typed text

Download Assistant Freezes After Sign in. Windows 8

I got a new computer this week (unfirtunately) with windows 8. When I first download the download assistant and signed in. It worked and I was able to download the trials. However it failed to install because I did not have "space". My computer is practially empty. I tried again today, however the download assistant now freezes right after sign in. I hve to use task manager to close it. I have tried everything i can think of....I uninstalled it. reinstalled it. Installed adove air separately. Did it several different ways. Ran as admin. Ran using only Nvidia etc.
Please help with any solution you can think of or if i can download the package direclty.

Could you please explain what you mean by "failed to install because I did not have "space"" ?

Adobe Download Assistant freeze

brower: Firefox6.0
problem:
after install Adobe Download Assistant and running the program,install didn't start.
in the sign in form after click sign in button it still no response, no error msg, no success msg, nothing change in sing in form ,
except the sign in button change it's colour.
and the program can't close by click X.

i freeze here waiting an hour still no different.
the blank to fill e-mail and pass word still can rewrite.

Adobe Download Assistant freezes

adobe download assistant keeps freezing and I cannot log in. When I go to log in problem the firefox says it cannot find the programme. I have tried downloading with google chrome but that did not make any difference.

So far I have tried - turning off the firewall, using google chrome, firefox and explorer 8 (this recommended by adobe FAQ), saving it to the desktop (FAQ), 2 earlier versions, working with the adobe people on line. I think I have run out of patience and will just give up. Lucky I did not spend the money to buy the programme if downloading the free version is this much trouble!!

I am BEYOND ANGRY with installing the trial of Adobe Download Assistant so that I can THEN DOWNLOAD MY ELEMENTS 12!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is so rediculous I have tried to install the trial version of elements 12 so that I can install the full version I purchased, I have tried to intall the download assistant over 6 times today; it WILL NOT MOVE ANY FURTHER THAN THE BAR fully loaded and says its downloaded!!!!!!!!!! wont do anything else? How the hell can I install anything if it wont freaking move????? I have a PC windows 7; I have every element required for this software I purchased several weeks ago from Amazon. I am a photographer, not a technical support person, I dont care HOW IT WORKS? I JUST NEED IT TO WORK!!!!!! If you are having trouble with the download assistant you can try going without it by downloading thru the site linked below. In case there is some misunderstanding, you do not have to install anything more than the trial version. You use your serial number from the purchase to convert the trial to full usage.

Adobe Download Assistant options do not include Premiere Elements

I have Photoshop Elements 10 and am trying to download the trial version of Elements Premiere 11 so that I can use the DVD with menu feature. When the download assistant opens and I sign in there is no option to download Elements Premiere 11. I have tried re-installing and obtained the same result. How can I download the trial version of Elements Premiere 11?

Im trying to download Light room trial and download assistant freezes when i try to log in. Ive set the permissions uninstalled and reinstalled adobe air and assitant manager... What can be done?
Also when i uninstall it, i get:

Illustrator isn't on download assistant.

I'm trying to download illustrator trial but it isn't on the download assistant. Can someone please help, I'm out of ideas...

Have you tried initiating the download of the trial from http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=illustrator? It should then launch the Adobe Download Assistant and begin the download once you sign in. If this is not working then please try a different web browser.

What's wrong with the Download Assistant? Does it really need to exist? Another layer that wastes more time that Adobe's luck they're not paying for... Why isn't Acrobat XI standard trial available?
