Download Assistant does not show CS5 Premium download. MacBook Pro, 10.7.3

Only current product's donwload are available on either adobe.com or Download assistant, for download on CS5 check this link: http://prodesigntools.com/all-adobe-cs5-direct-download-links.html
Choose the desired product and follow the Very Imporatant instructions before downloading or else the download will not start.

    Odonnells52 you will still need to install Adobe Acrobat Professional prior to being able to make edits to PDF or utilize Acrobat.   By default the installation files have been saved to your download folder.
    If you continue to face difficulties with the Adobe Download Assistant then please see Troubleshoot Adobe Download Assistant.
    You can also download the installation files directly from Download Acrobat products | Standard, Pro | XI, X if you are unable to locate the downloaded installation files.

  • Adobe Download Assistant: Not Downloading

    I am trying to download the Adobe Acrobat XI Pro.
    I click "Download Now" and nothing happens.
    The Download Assistant does not pop up, nor does it download.
    Working on Windows 8/Google Chrome

  • Adobe Download Assistant makes downloading CS5.5WP nearly impossible... other options?

    I have been trying to download a trial or Creative Suite 5.5 Web Premium since yesterday.  I am running Windows XP Service Pack 3 and have downloaded the Adobe Download Assistant (ADA).  I am experiencing 2 problems:
    1.) The ADA loads up with the logo for CS 5.5 WP at the bottom left with a progress bar to the right that shows an estimated wait time of 200+ to 300 hours.  I pause and restart the download multiple times to no avail.  I just leave ADA up and running and hope that I am in line for the download or something and it just isn't telling me so.  After about a half hour to an hour it tells me that there is progress and estimated wait time is about 4 hours.  This has happened twice.
    2.) Once the progress bar gets completely full the estimated wait time changes to "Less than a minute" and stays there for at least 2 hours (so I assume forever).  Any attempt to pause/restart the download generates Error 108 (telling me the file is corrupted and I have to start again from the beginning - this has also happened twice, oh joy!) or Error 110 (Error communicating with Adobe).
    I would rather not spend days toying with this ADA program if I don't have to.  Are there other options available? 
    I would really like to try a trial of this software before I buy it.  It is very expensive (to me) and I would like to make sure that it isn't as terrible as Adobe Download Assistant.

    Davidcostamesa what type of a network are you using?  Is this your home network or?  I would also recommend looking at solution 1 in Troubleshoot Adobe Download Assistant.

  • Downloaded Adobe Download Assistant to download CS6 Master Collection but wont run

    I tried saving it in my downloads folder and my desktop. Whenever I try to run the program  AdobeDownloadAssistant, a loading bar appears that says "Installing Adobe Download Assistant. Please wait." and the bar never moves and it stays like that indefinitely. I am running windows 7 64bit. I'm not sure why it's already been downloaded, but won't execute beyond this point.

  • Adobe Download Assistant is downloading over 100%

    1st of all, Sorry for my bad English.
    6 days ago I started to downloading the trial edition of Adobe Production Premium CS6 via Adobe Download Assistant. Today morning the download reached the status of 100% but it didn't stop, it just keep going over 100% (at this point it is 103.18%) and the status massage is "Downloading 5,966MB-less than a minute". So what should I do?? please help...
    Well my pc did crashed due to power faliour while the download assistant was still running..

    This is a known issue on some systems. Nothing to worry. It may finish when it reaches 200%. if it doesn't, you may have to start over.

    If my internet connection is lost or stopped during download will it resume or will the download have to start over?

    Alternately you can follow the directions listed at http://forums.adobe.com/thread/981369 to initiate a direct download of the software.

  • Connection problem with adobe download assistant

    Hello,
    I'm using windows 7 and I try to install the trial version of the Master Collection cs6.
    I have download Adobe Download Assistant (multiple times) but every time I try to connect myself with my Adobe ID, it doesn't work. I can click on Connection, the action is registered by the software but nothing happen. I also can't close the software with the simple click on close, I have to use the task manager (CTRL+ALT+SUPPR).
    I have already unistall my cs5 version using all the help I could find on the website (cleaner tool..).
    Can you help me ?

  • Downloading a trial - problem with the Adobe Download Assistant

    Q: What is the Adobe Download Assistant?
    A: Trial versions of Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop Elements, and Adobe Premiere Elements are downloaded using the Adobe Download Assistant — a small application that is meant to improve download reliability and avoid issues that commonly occur during large downloads, such as frequent disconnects. After the trial product is downloaded, Adobe Download Assistant should automatically start installing the product.
    Q: I installed the Adobe Download Assistant, but my trial didn't download?
    A: Under certain conditions, the Adobe Download Assistant installs but does not immediately start downloading the trial product. If this happens:
    1. Quit the Adobe Download Assistant.
    2. In your browser, return to the product trial download page on Adobe.com. Refresh the page, then click the Download now button again and follow the prompts.
    Important: When you start the download, be sure to select your User folder or Desktop folder. A common cause of errors are due to attempts to download the Adobe Download Assistant to the Program Files/Applications folder. The Adobe Download Assistant only downloads the trial application files.     Q: I've have a problem on Windows 7. The download manager just sits there, and does nothing, even after I navigate back to the trial page. It turns out that you can't install Flash in the Programs folder. You have to pick a different folder for ADA to actually work?
    A: You are correct, the Adobe Download Assistant does not have sufficient permission to save files to the Program Files folder. If you run the Adobe Download Assistant as an administrator, or save to a different location (for example, in your Users folder), this should resolve the issue.
    Q: When I try and download the Creative Suite Design Premium the Download Assistant opens and I log in. On the top it says "Welcome, User" but on the bottom right below the action bar for the download it says "Sign in ith your Adobe ID to continue" and the action/download bar just sits there. This seems to cause Error 100, 101, 107, and even problems with being able to extract the install files after the download completes. The Adobe Download Assistant is only downloading the install files.  Once the download is complete it will then launch the installer.  Once the installer itself is launched you can then install to the Program Files/Application folder.

    I have suddenly become computer illiterate... that's the only conclusion I can draw from my total failure to install the Premiere Pro CS6 trial version for Mac.
    Step1: I downloaded the Adobe Downloader Assistant installer and installed ADA in the default location (/Applications), which then was followed by said ADA launch. I logged in, selected PP and started a 2 hrs download of a 1.7 GB file.
    Step2: I come back after a while and find a nice DVD icon on my Desktop, reading PP CS6: Great! I quit ADA and open that folder, to find another folder in it, with 3 subfolders and an "Install" application. Click on it. Nada. Reclick on it. Same + an error -1704 "can't open application".
    Step3-30: I am cutting a long story short, but after reading all the support threads I could find, trying to reinstall ADA on my desktop, relog on the website, restart and cancel PP CS6 download a few times (without ADA noticing that there was already a 1.7 GB corresponding to that same file), and repeatedly failed to launch the install.app, I decided to act stupidely and remove all files and go to:
    Step 31: reinstall ADA, re-download PP CS6.
    Step 32: I waited after the install, nothing happened so I went to the new PP CS6 "DVD" and found the "install" app, which reliably did not start anything.
    Step 33: I rebooted. After the reboot, the DVD was gone, replaced by an empty folder of the same name...
    Step 34: me typing all this... I am using a 2011 iMac running Lion and Creative Suite CS 5.5. Thanks for any pointers...

To be noticed, Creative Cloud is not provided in China. It means if I reinstall my system I will lost all my Adobe Creative Suit software though I have valid license and have no credible source to download them. Please HELP!

  • Where is CS 5.5 Design Standard in Adobe Download Assistant?

    Hi,
    First my platform is Mac. And I am user form UK (Europe).
    I am traing to upgrade CS 5 Design Standard to CS 5.5 . I cant finde any direct download so I decide I will download trial version and after that I will bay upgrade key for $ 299 from adobe store online. When I go to Adobe Dwonload Assistant I cant finde CS 5.5 Design Standard is only CS 5.5 Designe Premium version in there.
    Am I looking in wrong place? I use help and it says it should be there. Is it any easyer way to upgrade ? Please help?

    Thanks for the prompt and informative reply. I have now resolved my problem and successfully downloaded (and installed) CS 5.5 Design Standard.
    If you want to investigate in order to help other customers, here's the full story.
    I'm running Windows 7 Professional 64-bit on a brand-new high-performance laptop (HP Pavilion dv7t). My default browser is Firefox (version 9.0.1).
    When I clicked the Download button on the CS 5.5 Design Standard page (the one you provided the link to, which I had already found & used), the Adobe Download Assistant was downloaded and subsequently installed. But when I ran it, there was no download of the product queued up:
    Logging in didn't change that situation:
    After reading your reply (and now armed with the knowledge of what behavior to expect), I decided to try again. To eliminate any potential artifacts of my previous failed attempt, I first uninstalled Adobe Download Assistant, and then did the download again. Unfortunately, the result was exactly the same as before (i.e. as shown in my screenshots above).
    So then (while holding my nose) I tried doing the download using Internet Exploder Exploiter Explorer 9 instead of Firefox. [As before, I  uninstalled Adobe Download Assistant to start wilth a clean slate.] The first time I clicked on the Download button, a message appeared that said my download would start soon, but after waiting 10 minutes, nothing had happened. So I reloaded the page and clicked the button again. This time it worked properly (exactly as you had described) and I was able to download the product.
    BTW, I began my evaluation of the trial product by using the new Photoshop, and I can see (and appreciate) many improvements and new features (I had been using CS4 previously). I expect I will be purchasing an upgrade.

  • How can I get the Adobe Download Assistant?

    Simply download a trial version of the Adobe Software.  The Adobe Download Assistant will download automatically when you begin downloading the trial software.

    You are correct Bill_Lindsay not all of our trials are currently using the Adobe Download Assistant.  Some of our software also utilizes the Akamai Download Manager and others have direct download options.  The majority of our trial software is utilizing the Adobe Download Assistant however.
    As for Audition from your description it does sound like it is still utilizing the Adobe Download Assistant.  Part of using the Adobe Download Assistant is the need to initially install the software.

  • The Adobe Download Assistant doesn't work!

    So, whatever happened to a direct download link? hmmmm too easy lol.  this download assistant does not work at all.  I turned off all firewalls, downloaded the (***) and got to the license agreement and ok'd it and it wouldn't start download.  Yes I did download to Desktop for all so that it has full permission.  Now I had to go to support, receive 2 files that I have to download, combine in one folder, then unzip and then install.  Just for a trial.  I would be scared to handover $100-$600 for a full product and have to jump through this many hoops!! Why did Adobe make downloading such a pain in the behind with it's (***)! lol here's a thought:: KISS keep is simple...shall I say silly just to be nice

  • Download Assistant not starting off elements download

    I have had error issues when trying to download premier elements 10 CD version.  Error code had a 7 in it (sorry closed window already).  Went through trouble shoot to download trial first and then would install full version using the license number.  Downloaded Elements Premier trial.  Went to download Elements and it would not start.  Downloaded  Adobe Download Assistant again and Elements would not start or no prompt would open.   Do I need to uninstall Premier and start with Elements and then install Premier?  Any recommendations?

    I presume you are trying to now install Photoshop Elements and you have installed Premiere elements successfully. Is that right?
