Download button missing

DEar HP, your website does not allow me to download the driver. Check out this page I keep getting referred to:
http://h20565.www2.hp.com/portal/site/hpsc/template.PAGE/public/psi/swdHome/?javax.portlet.begCacheT...
The firmware I can download. But the driver redirects me to some user manual content when I press "obtain this software".
What to do?

  • Download Button Missing Since Update

I see some posts about "hiding" the download button, however, I am posting this message because since the 2.0.2 update, I am no longer seeing the download button on my website. I am referring to the button that would appear above a selected photo. It was located in the upper right corner on the same line as "Back to Album" and "Play Slideshow".
Inside iWeb '08 I have selected the Photos section in the Inspector, and under Photo Sharing - Photo Download Size I have selected Medium. When I first uploaded my revised site with iWeb '08 the download button was present, now it has disappeared. It's a nice feature for grandparents to download family photos, and I love to have it back on the site.
I appreciate any help in making it reappear. Thank you in advanced for your help!

I am having the same problem - nothing brings up the download link. I've tried to publish my page as large and original quality and the iWeb app show the link there. As soon as I publish, the link is gone and clicking on a photo once, twice or three times does no good. Extremely frustrating - patches are supposed to FIX things - not break them.
    This is the page:

The download link is clearly visible when the page is viewed in iWeb.

  • Safari 8.0.3 missing download button

I opened my Safari  (version 8.0.3 / 10600.3.18)  today (running Yosemite 10.10.2) on my 15" 2012 Macbook Pro and noticed the download icon that is usually located in the upped right-hand corner of Safari is missing.  I right-clicked on the Toolbar and clicked the "Customize Toolbar..." option, and in the customization pulldown window which follows the download button (icon) is no longer displayed as an option for the Toolbar.  It's gone!
I use this download button frequently to see the progress of my downloads and to pause or cancel them.  Anyone else notice that their download button is gone?  Anyone know how to get it back?  Is this a new addition (or rather, a subtraction) from Safari in 8.0.3?  I'm pretty sure I was using this button earlier this week. Perhaps after the 10.10.2 update the button went away?

    Hello sbunns,
Glad to see your challenge is sorted. Mine is along the lines of yours but for mine, all the icons on Safari 8.0.3 running Yosemite 10.10.2 on MacBook Air 13 inch Mid 2013 are missing. I first got this message when I opened a new page on Safari: "Your copy of Safari is missing important software resources. Please reinstall Safari.". Safari then froze and later was ok but the icons did not re-appear. I then shutdown the mac and restarted and all icons just display a white box. So i had icons for print, share, back and forward and couple of others. I however had an extension that converts $ currency on any website am viewing on Safari to South African Rands so maybe that's the culprit. I'll try take that off and see if it solves the problem. Posted incase anyone went through a similar experience and if they found a solution.
    Thanks.

  • The download button is missing in iTunes

I have been trying to re download some iTunes purchases that the kind iTunes support folks restored the ability for me.  However when I launch iTunes on my iPad there is no download button in the lower right to allow me to start the process.  It's there on my wife's Gen 1 iPad but not on my Gen 2 iPad. Any idea how to get the download button back in iTunes or how to do a restore JUST on the iTunes app?

Double tap Home button and delete iTunes and App Store apps from task-bar.
Do a reset (Hold Sleep/Wake and Home buttons about 10 secs or more till Apple logo appears, ignore the Slide to Power Off that appears)
Note: You will not lose any data.

  • In "purchases" while in my App Store, Mountain Lion says, "an error has occurred" and the green 'download' button is grey and I cannot re-start the download. I was abroad when I purchased this app and during download, my internet connection was lost.

In "purchases" while in my App Store, Mountain Lion says, "an error has occurred" and the green 'download' button is grey and I cannot re-start the download. I was abroad when I purchased this app and during download, my internet connection was lost. At the time, Apple was still offering the e-chat, so I did that and the man was very helpful and it was a quick fix, so my download button turned green again, and I was able to begin the download. BUT during the download, I was kicked offline once again, and I decided to wait until I was back in the USA. I will go in to an Apple store and ask assistance, but if there is something I am missing, I'd like to try that first. Thanks in advance for any advice.

  • How can I install a 'download' button on a blank webpage that contains a PDF?

I'm an actor who uses iWeb09 to create my website. On the page I created for my resume', I placed a text box with the title at the top of a blank page, and then dragged a PDF into it.
Now, I know that people who view the page can right click (Control click Mac) the mouse and choose a download option from the menu. But my manager strongly urged me to put a 'download' button up there for anyone who doesn't know you can use the 'right-click/control-click' method. There doesn't seem to be a widget for this function. Is there a way I can make a button that will perform that download function?
    Thanks in advance,
    D. Gleason

There are two ways of forcing a file to download rather than display. The simplest is to zip it - then it will download automatically. Obviously the person at the other end has to unzip it, but I believe that pretty well all modern computers can handle this.
The other is more complicated. It involves creating a special folder on your server for you to upload the file into, then adding a text file which you have to make invisible. This isn't as difficult as it sounds, and only needs to be done the once (every file added to that folder will then download when linked to). The method is described here:

An album I recently downloaded is missing most of the first track. How can I download it again without being charged?

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
Try deleting the problematic tune (electing to remove original file if/when prompted) and then re-downloading the file from the iTunes store.
You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option from the Quick Links section in the top right corner of the iTunes homepage in your iTunes application on your computer.
You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option at the bottom of the screen of the iTunes app on your iOS device.
If the problem re-occurs, select the content which is causing a problem and use the 'Report a problem' button in Your Purchase History using your computer.

  • HT204291 Since upgrading to iOS7, i have experienced issues with Airplay button missing

Since upgrading to iOS7, i have experienced issues with Airplay button missing from the control menu as well as in Spotify.  It is as if airplay is not runing.  A temp fix: Reboot of the ipad mini (Home button+standby) Is there anything permanent?
I have verified that my iPad mini and apple TV is up to date.
Airplay enabled, the network is connected with internet.
It is as if, airplay is a service that just stopped working and has to be restarted again via a reboot.

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
Intermittent problems are often a result of interference. Interference can be caused by other networks in the neighbourhood or from household electrical items.
You can download and install iStumbler (NetStumbler for windows users) to help you see which channels are used by neighbouring networks so that you can avoid them, but iStumbler will not see household items.
Refer to your router manual for instructions on changing your wifi channel or adjusting your multicast rate.
There are other types of problems that can affect networks, but this is by far the most common, hence worth mentioning first. Networks that have inherent issues can be seen to work differently with different versions of the same software. You might also try moving the Apple TV away from other electrical equipment.

  • Safari 8 download button is gone

On Safari 8, the download button to the right of the toolbar is missing on one of my systems. it is there on the other systems. I tried checking to add it from preferences, but it isn't an option in Safari Preferences, nor in System Preferences. Any thoughts?

Once "Downloads" list is cleared, the Downloads icon will disappear from the Safari Toolbar.
The icon will reappear once you start downloading any item from the web again.
    That is the normal behavior.

  • Download button on appstore is not visible after I have upgrated IOS 7 in my Iphone 5

Download button on appstore is not visible after I have upgrated IOS 7 in Iphone 5, how can I fix it?

I am using iPhone 4S.  Under iOS 7.04 everything was working fine.  Now that I have updated to new 7.1 version, I am finding that the overall phone speed as been degregated.
Some times when answering the phone, you select to answer or swipe, it seems to hang up the phone.  I end up missing the call.
Some times when I try to hang up the phone, it does not hang up right away.  The phone appears to get stuck, you hear voices on the other end, but the call has not dropped.  It takes a while for the call to drop and free up the phone.
Typing is slow.  As you type, it does not show right away, only after 2 to 4 words have been typed then it will show all those characters.
    Internet browsing is slow.
I mostly use the phone for 3 things - Making/Receiving calls, Texting, and Internet browsing.  I don't play apps.
This is NOT a jailbrake phone, it's as original as it can get.  I am hoping a fix is put into place.  I have really lost faith in Apple's way of iOS upgrades.  This is my 2nd regret in upgrading to new iOS.
