I've lost my original CD (or my brother has, to be exact!).
I have the license key on the CD box, but where can I re-download the software from?

I have Contribute CS3 installed on an old computer that is no longer connected to the internet. I still have one client using this software and I need to connect using Contribute to help her with the issue. When I look at my account it does not include the older software such as this. I need to download, install and register it so I can assist my client. I have the CS3 Contribute serial number.
I have also noticed that now that I am in the CC subscription I appear to be logged out of my other older Adobe products.

Installation of Contribute CS3

I just downloaded Contribute CS3 but having problems loading
it on computer. Here's my problem. I have a an older Intel based
microprocessor that is not reconmmended (Celeron).
Is there anyone out there running this software with the
Celeron processor?

My question...is this still supported/encouraged with

Adobe Contribute CS3 Connection Error

I am trying to use Adobe Contribute CS3 Version 3.1 to connect our web server. I can use WS_FTP and WinSCP to connect to it fine. Our web server is running under CentOS 5.x. When I try to connect using the connection wizard in Contribute, I receving the following error:
Contribute cannot verify your connection information.
/tmp
Please contact your administrator for assistance.
I have tried both FTP and SFTP. Again, I can login, navigate to /tmp and upload, download, and delete files fine using WinSCP. Can someone let me know what Contribute is trying to do to verify the connection? Is there a log file? Any help is appreciated.

When I first tried to connect to our web server, I received a similar error. What worked for me was getting rid of the folder designation when trying to connect in Contribute (in your case /tmp) and allowing users to have permissions to access all folders on the web server. I create Contribute roles to limit the users to specific folders.

I want MACROMEDIA Contribute CS3

I bought for my client a copy of Contribute CS3. He's
currently using Macromedia Contribute 3, one month demo. He likes
it, so I want to make it official. It's a small package for a small
nice programm (30MB in size). When I ordered Adobe Contribute CS3
the package was 300MB!!! What is happening ??
So I installed Adobe Contribute CS3 on his system, which took
a lot of time 45min. or so. But after the install I got Adobe
Bridge CS3 WHY?, Adobe Assets WHY?, Adobe Scripting WHY?, Adobe
version cue WHY? etc. etc. etc.
Why o why do I need a program like mDNSResponder.exe only
needed for I-tunes.!!!!
I DON'T need those ADOBE PAYLOADS. I only need what\ I bought
for and that is Adobe Contribute CS3. Please GIVE me a CLEAN
INSTALL. Where is the good old support of Macromedia.!!!! Even
UNINSTALL CS3 took half an hour.
There is NO option to only install Contribute CS3. It's ALL
or NOTHING
It's realy a BAD Adobe experience !!!!!!

all of my adobe products are in CC version, but I would also like to download Flash CS3. Whenever I try to download Flash CS3, a note comes up saying an error occurred and I must contact Adobe for support. How can I resolve this error so I can download Flash CS3?

Installing Contribute CS3 on Win 7/64 home edition

On going through the long slow process of installing software on Win7 I ran into a snag with Contribute CS3. I have the downloaded version burnt to a CD which I have never had a problem installing from on XP. With Win7, after agreeing to the terms of licence, I got a message to insert the CD. Needless to say it was already inserted. I took it out and then put it back in, no joy. I then attemped to install from the folder where the original download had been stored. Same problem.
Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks, but! I don't get as far as entering the code, see attachment of screen shot. The copy I have is a downloaded "try and buy" which I have never had a problem installing from before. I also tried installing in XP Mode (I've upgraded to the Pro edition) but got the same error message.

Trying to reinstall Contribute CS3 after a clean reinstallation of Windows, I get the message "The installer database is corrupt" and can make no further progress.

Where do I find the Contribute CS3 msi installer?

My workplace has a purchased copy of Adobe Contribute CS3,
which has been downloaded via ESD. I have been attempting to locate
the msi so that we can deploy the software to those of our staff
that are registered to have the software installed.
I have tried looking in the installation extracted files, as
this is usually where I have found Adobe msi's in the past.
I have been unable to locate the relevant msi file, though
can find Adobe documentation on setting up Contribute CS3 in
Microsoft SMS. Does anyone know if the msi for Contribute CS3 is
obtainable by any ESD downloads?

Yes I did register the program and it is legitimate - I purchased it through an online retailer that focuses on the education market. I should have burned a CD when I got it, but hind-sight is always 20/20.

Contribute CS3 Freezes in Windows

We recently purchased a 10-user license for Contribute CS3
and have had no luck getting it to work. It runs very slowly on our
Windows XP computers. All of our computers are fairly new with at
least 1 GB of RAM and plenty of space. After taking several minutes
to download a page to be edited, it then freezes up completely when
you try to publish. I cannot unfreeze it without CTRL-ALT-DEL, and
then it leaves alot of junk in the Draft Console, as if there were
alot of files edited. I have uninstalled and re-installed, and even
rebuilt the user keys, but no luck. Any ideas as to what is causing
the problem? I have never had such poor performance from Contribute
before, and I have been using it since version 1.0. I also
currently have several users who have versions 3 or 4 and are not
having this problem. Any ideas as to where to go from here would be
appreciated.

I installed the entire CS3 and CS4 suites in Win7 but I only briefly tested them. Everything started up okay. As with Vista 64 it's vital that you accept the default installation path and even more important to remember that you'll be on your own as far as support.

Cannot access Adobe Account to download Fireworks CS3

I purchased Adobe Fireworks CS3 many years ago and now want to move it to my new computer. Unfortunately, the original installation file was on a harddrive that no longer functions. As well, the e-mail I used when I first registered with Adobe is no longer active. I have tried to login to it, but it sends a message to the old (non-existent) account. How can I regain access to my old account? As well, will I be able to download Fireworks CS3 if I manage to do so? I still have my registration number....
