Download counts inaccurate

I've downloaded one theme from 3 different Adobe user IDs.
But it still shows zero downloads.
I've tried logging out and back in again.
It still shows zero downloads.
Other themes are showing accurate download counts, but not
this one.
Search for "Lydia" and you'll find it.

Ditto. So far I've created 62 themes. Every one shows a
download count of zero.

  • Content and Item Details download count does not jive

When I go to Reports > Details, the download count for a particular content title is 7,636.  When I drill into the content by clicking on the hyperlinked iTunesID, I'm presented with a list of ALL detail items under the content item.  When I add up the number under the download column, my total is only 7,388.   I expected those numbers to match.  Is that expectation wrong?  If so, could you please explain why?
    Thanks!

Since what you're trying to get is from iTunes U and hence carries no charge, have you tried just downloading it again from the start?
Note that, if you are in China as your profile indicates, there have been numerous and repeated problems with people accessing the iTunes Store from China as the government there sometimes blocks access to the iTunes Store (among many other web sites around the world) or otherwise may tinker with Internet access. So there may be little or nothing you (or Apple) can do.

  • How can i get document download count on UCM

    Hi experts,
I need to get ucm content download count by using API? Is it possible to obtain this?

Thx for your quick reply. We use middleware11.1.1.6.
Besides we are ignoring accessing by HTPP requests. Application is being access contents via RIDC API. Content access count of these access (actually no matter based on user, group nor another one in my case) just totally could be enough for us. In other words, my custom application webpage needs to show TopTen Usage/Access Contents on ucm. Is that expectaion in YES group?
I googled abit regarding to your mentioned about ContentTracker component and link you shared. Looked at ucm/cs Administration/SystemAuditInformation/ComponentResports navigation and i see below. I think we need to enable that. For now i dont know how to.

  • AUR Download count

Is there any reason why we don't have a download count instead/alongside package voting.  Surely it will give a better indication of what is to be included in community.  Would it be hard to implement?  Are there reasons against or for implementing it?  Maybe this has alreay been discussed.  What are your views?

Awebb wrote:Why should I need to know how often a package is downloaded before voting for it? I vote for good packages, for packages I like. I don't vote for popular packages, just because they are popular.
Your missing the point.  The votes don't tell the story of the most popular package, not everyone votes etc.  A download count could give a more accurate picture of the most popular packages to be moved to the community repo.  Or it could be a reflection on downloads and votes.

  • App Store download count

How can we tell how many times our app has been downloaded from the App Store?
We have an app up on App Store and our download count shows zero. We know we have had numerous downloads, but we have no idea how many downloads.
Is there anywhere we can get a download count for our app?? (other than waiting until the end of the month for the report)
    Many thanks!

Not yet, anyway. The download counts were on the App Store when viewed from an iPhone only on the first day, but then they disappeared. Now they're nowhere, and also not in iTunes Connect. AFAIK, developers will get a check and a financial report sometime after the end of a month reporting on the previous month's downloads and income (actually if it's a free app, maybe not even that).

  • Tracking of Download count

    Hi friend
I have a problem relating to download track.
We're sending SMS of a link of the html page of our site. From that page .jad file can be downloaded in their mobile phones. We can count how many times those links are getting clicked. But is there any option to know whether the download is getting completed?
    Thanks

The default log format of Apache (and many other servers as well) does not allow you to identify interrupted downloads, because the log statement is written when the file starts downloading. You either need a more detailed log or let the download URL be handled by some Servlet that logs the successful download (even then it's not 100% sure, I think).

  • Compliance Settings - compliance counts inaccurate (roughly double the number they should be)

I'm deploying some fairly simple configuration baselines - most with a single CI in it; some remediate, some do not.
In all cases, the Compliance count (as found on the Assets and Compliance/Compliance Settings/Configuration Baselines page in the SCCM console) is roughly double the number it should be.
The same numbers can be found in the report: Compliance And Settings Management \ Summary Compliance by configuration baseline. In that report, however, you can drill into the individual baselines, which takes you to "List of assets by compliance state
for a configuration baseline". I find that if I add up all of the assets from this report, the number is accurate.
We have about 4000 people in one of these CI baseline deployments, and it's showing about 8000 are compliant. We don't even have anywhere near that many clients. In another one, we have about 150 users and it's showing 280 compliant.
It just seems that the summarization data is somehow inflated, and completely inaccurate. Anyone know how that is calculated, or have you seen this before?

Following some leads on my own research...
The summarization process lives in WMI, of course, like everything else. It's apparently in root\sms\site_[SiteCode]:SMS_SummaryTask, executing the method: RequestExecution.
The "TaskCommand" on the SMS_SummaryTask shows that it's actually executing the stored procedure: spTaskDCMComplianceSummary.
That stored procedure loops through all the configuration baselines, and executes the stored procedure spDCM_SummarizeBaseline for each of them.
That stored procedure ends up running a query that looks like this:
select SiteNumber, CI_ID, SummaryType, CountTargeted, CountCompliant, FailureCount, ActivatedCount, CountNoncompliant, EnforcedCount, Severity, LastSummaryTime from
    CI_ComplianceSummary where CI_ID=@bl_ciid
I set the @bl_ciid and ran that select query. I got results that look like this:
SiteNumber CI_ID SummaryType CountTargeted CountCompliant FailureCount ActivatedCount CountNoncompliant EnforcedCount Severity LastSummaryTime
    1 16795052 1 0 153 2 0 0 4 3 2014-02-13 23:33:31.633
    1 16795052 2 0 141 2 0 0 4 3 2014-02-13 23:33:31.637
The number for this configuration baseline in the summary page is 294. That just so happens to be these two things added together (153+141).
Does anyone know what these two things are? SummaryType = 1, SummaryType =2 ? It seems like the summarization process is adding them together, when it should not be.

  • Mail unread message counts inaccurate

I just bought a new computer with Lion installed.  The unread message count in the dock and with the mailboxes in mail is wildely inaccurate.  My older computer is running Snow Lion and its count is completely accurate.  For instance Snow Leopard may say 12 unread messages and Lion will say 1.

Try rebuilding the mailbox. This can take awhile if you have a lot of mail.

  • Download Counter in Muse

    Hey everyone,
i'm working on a Website for our Fire Department. We have some Wallpapers of our Trucks and we want that the users can download these. But we want to count the downloads. What is the best way to do it with Muse ?
Thank you and sorry for my bad english
    Leon

    Hi Leon
You can surely link those images where users can download from site front end, but tracking of downloaded document needs to be done using a custom solution as it involves customer login, file count etc.
An easy way to achieve this would be to use Google Analytics which you would need to integrate , where it would record event tracking and report can be generated.
    https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/1136922?hl=en
Also , you can try out using custom code for tracking the numbers , but that would involve whole body integration of download button, link to documents/images etc.
    http://www.mybloggertricks.com/2011/01/how-to-track-downloads-on-your-website.html
    http://www.focalmedia.net/download_monitor_pro.html
If you are using Business Catalyst to host your site , then let me know.
In BC we can use customer profile system and downloadable products, where the downloadable products/Images can be checked and report can be generated which would show the exact number of downloaded Images.
The above workarounds can be sued , there is no direct way to achieve this at current stage.
    Thanks,
    Sanjit

  • My book is published in the iBookstore. Download count? Reader reviews? Not registered.

Once your book is published in the iBookstore can you get your book reviewed? How? Can you see the count of downloads of your book?

K T --You've been very kind to keep helping me out.
My book is free even though it is digital art and text.
I haven't been able to work out "redeem codes." I do have the iTC Mobile app. I do have iTunes Producer installed in my MacBook Pro.
Did see 'Customer Ratings'  for my book in the iBookstore.--  I added my Apple ID and window came up to review. Do you need an Apple ID to review?
    Thank you,

  • Edge counting inaccurate

I'm getting inaccurate results from my USB-6210 edge counting check from MAX. I have a TTL source that generates four pulses that is connect to PFI0 through a simple RC filter (390 ohm and 0.02uF). I start the edge counting from the test panel in MAX choosing PFI0 as the edge source. When I trigger my four pulses I receive a much larger count (sometime up to 20 counts) from the MAX test panel. Only when I remove the RC filter do I receive an accurate count (4 pulses exactly). I need to use the RC to filter out some 45KHz noise generated by another piece of equipment in the lab. I know I can set up the USB-6210 to use a time-based filter but I thought a simple RC filter would be a quick solution.
I have tried this with a USB-6211 with the same results. Only the USB-6009 preformed as expected with accurate counts. The USB-6009 edge count is not affected by the RC filter.
    Any thoughts?
    Thanks,

It doesn't .  You should use the digital filter.
    goldenrad wrote:
It is interesting that the filter works perfectly on the USB-6009.
It's probably a bandwidth issue, there's no hysteresis on the 6009 inputs either.  The 6009 event counter can only count up to a 5 MHz signal according to its specificaitons.  The 6210 however supports an "external base clock frequency" of up to 20 MHz.
