Download current version of Skype to Samsung Smart...

My Samsung Smart TV has Version 2.0. My business associate says I needs 6.3.60.105 to be compatible. Is this true? I can't manually upgrade the TV software. What do I do?

This really does sound like a cache problem....so I suggest the following:
If you are using IE w/ default settings it will cache everything it can to "improve page performance".
In IE -> Tools -> General Tab -> Temorary Internet Files -> Settings....
Set the page to check every visit to the page
or
In IE -> Tools -> General Tab -> Temorary Internet Files -> Delete Files (check delete offline content) -> Click Ok
or
Install the MS IE WebDeveloper tool bar (search on Microsoft.com) and do Misc -> Clear Domain Cache.
If you are using FF try installing their web developer tool bar and doing Misc -> Clear Private Data -> Clear Cache.

Simply downloading won't erase anything. Did you install too? If you installed too then normally it also should not affect the library but sometimes for strange reasons it does which is why you need to do a computer backup before installing any updates of any kind. Do you have a backup?

Group Skype with Samsung Smart TV

Is there any way to do group Skype or even purchase premium Skype through Samsung Smart TV?

Our family recently "upgraded" from a VIZIO XVT373SV to a Samsung UN40H6400 "Smart TV." We also purchased the Samsung VG-STC4000 Skype TV Camera.
As noted in the previous post (but no where in Samsung Support), Skype apparently only works through the Samsung TV speakers.
This means that my hearing impaired, 94 year old father can no longer use his Audio-Out-Connected headphones to communicate with his grandchildren at college. Skype is now unusable and useless for him.
There is, of course, no "echo issue" with headphones. Please ask your team to contact Samsung and enable at minimum the 3.5mm Audio Out with Skype.
Thank you in advance for prompt resolution so my father can reconnect with his grandchildren.

I downloaded current version of Firefox and it doesn't work.

I downloaded the current version 7 of Firefox. I click it and the hourglass comes up but firefox won't load up. I had to go back to an older version which I really don't want to use. Can you tell me how to get the current version to work please? Thanks. I'm using XP.

Group Skype on Samsung Smart TV's. Does it work?

I have a 65" Samsun Smart TV with a Logitek HD Skype TV Camera. The TV has a app for skype but I cant see how you do Group calling thru my Smart TV. Is it available on the Samsung Apps?
If not, when will it be available? I can do Group Skype thru my Laptop and use a HDMI cable to run it thru my SMART TV but its just a hassel to hook up everything.

Like I stated it's probably an issue with dedicated processing power more than firmware since group video calls require machines that can host them. If the current hardware is unable to host a multiparty call it won't ever happen. Smart TVs generally use ARM processors so even if it is of a high frequency it doesn't have the same footing as a standard X86/64 processor. It would be impossible to speculate since Skype doesn't put out any roadmaps. Anything that is going to come out soon tends to be broadcast in press/web style communication. If a feature like group video calling isn't offered or promoted with the product, I have doubts an upgrade of that magnitude, if possible, would be made.

Just Downloaded current version of iTunes, no longer shows any duplicates and has doubled up on nearly every song in the library, 1500 odd! Also don't want or understand i Cloud, how do I get rid of it?

I have Just downloaded the latest update to iTunes 11, it no longer shows any duplicates, and there are many, over 1500 songs. Also what is this iCloud? I neither want it, use it or need it, so how do I get rid of it? I have enough trouble merely getting in contact with iTunes, you don't make too many allowances for those of us who are not really computer savvy. Maybe I can dump the lot and revert to a friendlier (for me) version?

As for moving you itunes library, just copy the entier iTunes storage folder to the exterior drive. user/MyDocuments/Music/iTunes

I then received the message "iTunes was not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes"I tried reinstalling with the same error message. I then uninstalled the old version, downloaded the new version and still received the same message. How do I solve this problem?

Cannot open itunes windows xp Have deleted and downloaded current version.

Refer to following article to remove SC file(s):

Then proceed to repair your Quicktime:
Win7/Vista - Start > Control Panel > Programs n Features
WinXP - Start > Control Panel > Add n Remove Programs

Unfortunately, their case indexing is on a different database, and they will not be able to look up your case number either. However, their support is free, and despite it may take a few bounces of emails back and forth, there is a decent chance they may be able to get a solution.
Or... you can still try to shoot the **** with us here, which is Ok as well. But you'll have to keep in mind we can't look up your case numbers.

I keep getting the "Bonjour has encountered a problem and needs to shut down." and I can't print anything. I've downloaded latest version and updates and nothing helps. I need my printer to work. Help!

I am getting this error message every time I turn on the computer. I have the Airport Extreme wireless router. This has been occuring for the last 2-3 months. By way of experiment, try installing the latest version of iTunes for Windows:

That should update your mDNSResponder to version 2.0.5.0 ... with the newer Bonjour componentry in place, do you still get the error when switching on the PC?
If so, is the modver being shown now 2.0.5.0? Or is it still 2.0.4.0?
