Download Developer 6.0 with problem to unzip

I downloaded the Developer 6.0 from Oracle technet site several
times, and every time when I tried to unzip the software, I
recieved the same error message "Cannot open file:It does not
appear to be a valid archive." Does any body know why? and how
can I successfully download the software and use it? Thanks.

I'm experiencing the exact same problem here. Someone said the
very end of the transfer gets chopped off via a bug in Oracles
FTP site? I think I'll just have to install off a CD.

may i suggest opening the files in Olymous Viewer 3 and exporting them (you can do some editing there if you wish or not) asTIFF files. After that you can import the new files into LR. LR seems to like tiiff more than .orf files
The advantage to using OV3 is that it seems to do a much better job converting RAW EM1 files. Colors are more accurate ( my red flower pot turned orange when loaded directly into lightroom)
. The tiff files just LOOK better in LR after the conversion . there is a youtube on this subject and when i tried it myself i was impressed

Sounds like you somehow got the mac version.

did ae install without problem? check the install logs to be sure (Troubleshoot with install logs | CS5, CS5.5, CS6, CC)
if it did, what do you see when clicking the executable?

Problems with downloading dmg.gz files with Firefox

I've noticed some problems where Firefox has problems trying to download dmg.gz files, and it will spit out a bunch of garbled "code" to the screen instead of downloading the file. I tried the same file, just as a dmg file, and Firefox downloaded it just fine. Any ideas on what is going wrong here? Is this some limitation with Firefox and not understanding dmg.gz files, or is the disk image not being created and compressed properly, or is this a matter on the server that would have to be fixed?
I haven't noticed this problem of trying to download dmg.gz files with other browsers like Safari or OmniWeb.

I don't know where the filename->filetype mapping is in Firefox, but I do know that the popup menu on links includes a "Save link as..." item. So command-click or hold down the mouse button for a while or right-click on one of the links that causes problems and select that item. That will give you a standard "save as" dialog box and you can save the file. This trick works for any link and any filetype.

I have to ad that its not an easy problem I did all the action in the book.

Only on one page, the client is receiving this error:

I tested it with a couple different usernames and a couple different browsers and it works fine on my end.. but none the less it is happening to him. This is the second time it happened to two different clients.
??? Any ideas ??? Anyone else had this happen?

Was IE7, now latest FF
No antivirus
Firewall – Windows Firewall, Downloaded AVG free trial ver., but not installed
Machine #2:
XP Pro
IE7
Again, No AV… had Kaspersky… but uninstalled it
Windows Firewall
Maybe that could be of some assistance... not seeing anything that could possibly block or inhibit the ICE. Each machine is independent of the other, separate networks, different locations, JavaScript enabled, no cookie blockers, etc.

Oracle Developer 6 applications with database 10g

Hello,
My all applications are developed and running in Oracle Developer 6 with database 9i. But now i want to use
database 10g with these Oracle Developer 6 build applications.
Already compiled files (with dev 6 and DB 9i) are runing with database 10g quite nicely,but when i try to
recomplie the source files of these applications with 10g database i got the fowlloing error.
ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [17069], [45468896], [], [], [], [], [], []
After it i open these Oracle Developer 6 applications source files with Oracle Developer 6i and use 10g database,
compile and run very easly.
I think it is old version problem .But my development team dont want update all applications to new version (6i or other) yet.
Is there any solution to use Oracle Developer 6 applications with database 10g ?

The general rule is "Ora-00600s (and 7445s, 3113s) are to be reported to Support". Look in Metalink to see whether any one else has reported it, based on the first argument. If so, there may be a workaround or a patch.
Since you are asking this generically without database version, patch level or operating system, I assume you are using the unsupported free download and do not have access to Metalink. In that context
1) What is the problem:
The problem is your request (QSL, PL/SQL, Java) is hitting a bug or abusing a part of the Oracle software in an unexpected way. ORA-00600 is simply one of the 'unexpected and unhandled exceptions'.
2) Required action:
Since it is unexpected and unhandled, there are several ways to proceed:
- Search the net for the first argument (ktspgetmyb-1) to see whether someone has a workaround
- Reproduce and Simplify your offending code until you find your own workaround.

I've been trying to download developer edition for SAP NetWeaver Composition Environment 7.1 SP5 - Developer Edition as well as for SAP NetWeaver 7.01 SR1 SP3 ABAP Developer Edition. In both the cases download doesn't start and as soon as I accept license agreement, following message comes up.

Are you using IE browser? I had the same problem and ended up dowloading the files using Mozilla browser. Unlike Mozilla, IE does not support TLS using AES encryption- only 3DES. Perhaps the download site (https://downloads.sdn.sap.com) is using a crypto library requiring TLS with AES encryption.
