E business suite installation problem.

i have downloaded e business suite R12(32 bit) from oracle site.
after downloading i extract ebs software to a folder.
then i run perl script adilkhan\startCD\Disk1\rapidwiz\adautostg.pl

when i got this message then i check the label of disk 1 (K:\adilkhan\adilkhan\oraDB\Disk1)
then i checked label and alter the label to Oracle Applications Rapid Install - Rdbms Disk 1
then enter the disk path and got invalid disk.
please some body help me. how i can proceed. i am using window 7(64 bit).

Following your instruction i have installed window 2003.
i start installation as
1) Extract all zip file to folder name ebs_soft
2) Then i click on "startcd" folder and run this file EBS_software\startCD\Disk1\rapidwiz
After this i fallow the wazids and got error on 22%
this log file please look into it then please guide me.

Windows 7 is NOT certified as an application/database tier node, the list of certified Windows OS can be found in (Note: 761567.1 - Oracle E-Business Suite Installation and Upgrade Notes Release 12 (12.1.1) for Microsoft Windows Server (32-bit)). So, download the Windows version of the 12.1.1 files from e-Delivery website and install it on a certified OS.

Can anybody show me a link where I can download E-business suite??? for home use? or is it not available liek the designer etc. ??

I need some info before I start anything related to Rel 11i. I plan to install it on Windows NT 4.
1. What are the pre-requisites for installing Oracle Rel 11i?.
2. What is the minimum HDD capacity and RAM?
3. Do I have to install Oracle 8i first before I start the Rel 11i install?.
4. I assume that the install will NEVER go through on the first attempt. How do I go about cleaning up the mess before I restart the install?.
5. Are there any high level procedures available that outline the steps involved in the stallation process. I assume with so many people installing it all over the place, ther sho8uld be some sort of document that guides people as to how to go about the installation.

I want to download Portuguese language pack for Oracle E-Business Suite 12.1.
However on Oracle E-Delivery, I could not find any language pack for downloading (as it was available for OEBS 11i)
Is there any change in installing language pack on Oracle E-Business Suite 12/12.1 as compared to 11i.
Should i download complete Oracle E-Buisiness Suite installer by selecting the Portuguese language on first page of Oracle E-Delivery?
Please guide.

I am very new to Oracle E-Business suite of applications, but need to download Oracle Student System, which as I understand is part of the suite. Currently, on E-delivery, on release 12.1 is available, which doesnt contain OSS. Any ideas where to get this application? Is it available on its own as well?

Most Oracle Apps 11i software were removed from e-Delivery website, and in order to get the software, you will have to log a SR and ask Oracle support to send you the Media Pack (this requires having a valid Metalink account).

I am planning to take 11i E-Business Suite Essentials for Implementers certification exam in a short while. I am presently self-studying the courseware. I do not feel a need to take an Oracle University class for this purpose.
Is there any place where I can download a demo version of 11i Suite, with a dummy database, which I can play with in order to get a better feel of the application?

Like others on this thread have noted, there have been hundreds of successful downloads of R12 from the eDelivery website. This is the only legal source of R12 downloads, by the way.
If you're continuing to have trouble, I'd recommend running IE in Safe Mode to isolate the issue from other browser plug-ins that you might have installed.

If it is available, it will probably be through http://edelivery.oracle.com That is where Oracle puts pretty much all their downloadable software. The other place is usually the Download link on http://otn.oracle.com
The last time I tried installing eBusiness Suite, it was a 'significant' task. Youmight be better off asking Oracle to arrange for a trial. IIRC, they are usually hosted, so you can get the experience of the application without the admin/tech learning curve up front.

Than my answer you have to make demo installation and then you can practice on it, installation takes almost 4-5 hours on server side.
On the other hand you can use http://vis1211.solutionbeacon.net (you need to register), its online EBS system which you can use from your pc wihtout any installation.
