Download EP examples with project zip files
I am new to Portal
i want zip file of webservice car rental example
were to download it
Hi samyuktha,
Have a look at second paragraph on page 5 of this doc:
<a href="https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/ba67cd90-0201-0010-b9ba-8fd5623ef6e8">Using the Car Rental Web Service with Web Dynpro</a>
It says that:
<i>The QuickCarRental application is part of the standard set of example
applications contained in the example directory of the Developer Studio
(.../SAP/JDT/eclipse/examples/J2EE_QuickCarRental.zip). The Web service is
already defined there and only needs to be deployed on the J2EE together with
the EAR file.</i>
I checked it at my end, I have this zip file in the path mentioned. Please check on your end too. If by any chance you are still unable to find the zip, give me your email id, i will send the zip to you.
I hope this is the very zip you are talking about..
Bye
Ankur

Thanks in Advance.Hi
Why are you trying to import BPM zip file are you trying to configure the out of the box workflows?
They are something that need to be deployed from the process admin on BPM.
There would be the .exp file you would need as its BPM 10g that you would need to use. -
I have really slow internet, i bought OS X mountain lion & tried for days to download it. my internet cuts every time & the download restarts from the beginning is thr a way to download the software as a "zip" file or from a link not app store?

Take it somewhere that has better broadband. The best you can do sometimes is invest in new modem that works with your system instead of the rental etc in most cases.
Do a Safe Boot.
Make sure your firewall is set properly. Don't use 3rd party. AV software can get in the way.
Make sure you are getting the service and a clean strong modem signal - slow is one thing but if it drops off and can't maintain a connection you have hardware issues, not software - and upgrade to a new OS doesn't tend to improve, it may even not work with older networking equipment once you do get it.
I agree and think electronic only goes too far. And when you do get it: burn the package and manually set it aside first before running the intaller! make a flash memory installer, put it on DVDs too. -
Problem with attached zip file
I received an email with a zip file attached, but whenever I try to open it I get the message "Unable to unarchive "filename.zip: into "Desktop." (Error 1 - Operation not permitted)"
Can anyone help?Download Stuffit Expander which can open just about anything you throw at it. You can obtain this "free" utility from Versiontracker and Macupdate.

Reader 9.0 on Vista associates itself with my .zip files ?!?!
System: a Brand NEW (as in 3 days old) Vista machine (3 gig, dual core).
When I install Adobe Reader, the first time, my .zip files are okay - I can use the built-in uncompress feature to open them. If I shut down and come back the next day, Reader is now associated with my .zip files so I can't open them. The only way is to uninstall reader. I don't want to have to keep uninstalling/reinstalling each time I need to either open a .zip file (which I do frequently) or read a .pdf file.
I don't know what microsoft program to associate them with so I can unassociate the .zip files with Reader and use the built in uncompress command to open the .zip files. (I did find where to set file associations in Vista.)
Can someone here help me?
Thanks,
TrishOkay,
I found a "fix".
To help others - there is a registry fix you can run - see this page:
http://www.winhelponline.com/articles/105/1/File-association-fixes-for-Windows-Vista.html
Follow the instructions on that page, and it does seem to fix it.
Just note, the icon associated with the zip file may remain Adobe Reader, but if you right click, "Extract All" *will* show up on the list. (Extract All was *not* on the list when I booted up.)
Vista is giving me a headache!

Oracle by Example content-Damaged zip file?
I've downloaded Oracle by Example content : download.zip
file (32,472 KB).
The zip file seems to damaged. I've managed to repair it with winrar and extracted it with winzip but got the following message:
Extracting blast.zip
bad CRC 00000000 (should be 2fe2b7c5)
Warning: the size of the extracted file (0) does not match the uncompressed size (2837) recorded in the zip file.
which means that I've lost the file blast.zip included in the archive.
Could you please repair the archive and post it back?!Many of the lessons are operating system independent because they use EM. If you are interested in the installation. There is one lesson specific to windows. Which topic are you looking for?

Hello,
I downloaded E23943_01.zip, which is the 2.5 GB documentation set for Fusion Middleware 11g (11.1.1.6), WebLogic 10.3.6. WinZip will not open the ZIP file due to this error: too many entries in central directory according to end of central directory info. My other ZIP programs report essentially the same error as WinZip.
When I first encountered the error, I assumed my download did not complete correctly; but I downloaded it three times, with the same error. All three downloads had the same file sizes, and I even binary-compared two of them, which were identical.
I am suspicious that the source E23943_01.zip file on Oracle's site is corrupt. Can anyone corroborate or refute my suspicions?
Thanks,
effdjyou can download from the edelivery site

I'm trying to resolve a problem with a program that involves downloading a .zip file. When you download a .zip file on a MacBook Pro, do you need to "unpack" the file? I have to replace and existing file with the downloaded file. I'm sure I am doing something wrong.
double clicking usually unpacks the zip file.
Control click>Compress will zip up a folder/file
If the archive utility does not unzip, you can try something like StuffitExpander.
There can be problems with zip files and it may be a source problem beyond your control -
How to import a BPEL project zip file into jdeveloper?
This worked for me before, but I seem to be doing something wrong this time.
I tried the File -> Import ->BPEL process option and navigated to the location of the .bpel file (after I extracted the .zip file contents). But this didn't seem to work as the entire project wasn't imported.You'll probably have better luck posting this in the BPEL forum

Scenario: SOAP message with attached .zip file to FTP ?
Hi all,
I've searched SDN etc but got no good hints to my problem.
My scenario is tht we are receiving an XML message via SOAP adapter and this is a MIME multipart message so it carries also a attached zip-file.
The XML and the attached zip-file should then be saved over FTP.
It enters IS correctly and I can see that I have the attachment and it goes to AE. I can see payload and attachment in the statusreport on receiver cc.
The FTP adapter saves the payload XML correctly but the attachment is not saved anywhere.
I have not configured any modules, BIC etc in the FTP adapter and I need some input on how to set this up tp put both files on FTP server.
In the future the FILE adapter will be used and then I wounder if I will get the same problem there?I dont think there is a direct way of doing this. I can suggest you a method. In the directory receiver determination use 2 receivers with no condition. You message will get split in to two now. Create the interface determinations and receiver agreements. Complete one of them normally. It will sav the xml t FTP. For the other one, in the adapter use the payloadswapbean. It will swap the attachement to payload. THis one would save your zip on the ftp server.
Hope its clear..!!

Download all attachments as a zip file
Hi,
I want to download all files as a zip file from the database using c#.net visual webpart.Hi,
Sheelaj request you to drop the idea for getting into database to achieve this task,because SharePoint does not support any activities directly to query its contents.
Do you have the document library in the site from there you want to download as Zip ?
May be this link shed some insight
http://www.c-sharpcorner.com/uploadfile/GemingLeader/programmatically-compress-and-decompress-files/
Or just a the content database ?
I heard about there is some tools or custom code to convert the binary format into physical file in .NET,
but i am not sure how its going to fit into SharePoint and your requirement.

EMET 5 StackPivot incompatible with 7-zip File Manager 7zFM.exe ?
Can anyone reproduce this issue?
With StackPivot mitigation enabled for 7zFM.exe we can't open the 7-zip File Manager.
We can produce the issue with Windows 7 x86, using EMET 5.0.5324.31804 and 7-Zip 9.20
There is no EMET notification via the taskbar agent or the Event Log. However, simply unchecking StackPivot for 7zFM.exe allows it to work.
Application log does contain Event ID 1000, fauling application name 7zFM.exe, faulting module name: KERNELBASE.dllYes I can reproduce this issue. I wrote about my findings in an earlier post:
https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/security/en-US/be56b6f7-a33a-49ac-a61c-4d4f295ca50b/experiences-with-the-enhanced-mitigation-experience-toolkit-emet-50-final-version-was-released?forum=emet#5d7b7ee6-3526-463f-b5c9-fb6208683800
Later on I also found out that stackpivot was the culprit but I never posted it on that thread or created a feedback item om the EMET feedback portal.

Writing objects with in zip files
Hi,
I am trying to write an object into a zip file :
ZipOutputStream zout=new ZipOutputStream(new FileOutputStream("test.zip");
ZipEntry ze=new ZipEntry("test.dat");
zout.putNextEntry(ze);
ObjectOutputStream out=new ObjectOutputStream(zout);
out.writeObject(obj);
out.close();
zout.closeEntry();
zout.close();
The above code is within a try-catch block.
It is compiling correctly.
But it is throwing an exception just after executing "zout.closeEntry()".
The exception is "java.io.Exception: Stream Closed".
I am using JDK 1.3.
Can anyone help me.
Indra.Hi Indra,
I'm sorry it didn't work. I would try to simulate that problem but I really don't have time right now (but I will).
What you can do is to try to create that zip file in 2 steps, first just serialize the objects in a ordinary file and then read from that file and create a zip file. Of course you'll have to do the same to get your objects out from the zip file.
If the file is not too big you can use a ByteArrayOutputStream instead of a FileOutputStream for the first file.
hope it will work,

I need help with this zip file so that I can let Dreamweaver do what it do.
I need help. I bought a web design from a company called Envato. And file is zip, I heard that you use Abobe Illustrator to unzip the file, but I've tried that and got nothing. I've just download Dreamweaver with hopes that would work and again nothing. I NEED HELP!!!!
To unZip a folder of files, you need to use a decompression utility such as WinZip, StuffIt or 7-UP. Do you have either of those on your system? If not get one & install it now.
Open ZIP in your utility and EXTRACT all contents to your DW Local Site Folder. If you have not defined a Local Site Folder in DW yet, do that now by going to Site > New Site.
