Hello. I am brand new to the mac community. i would like to download previous purchased tv shows of my ipad to my macbook. it just doesn't work. itunes keeps telling me error 45054 and i should try again later. any ideas? thanx so much!

This is one of the rare occasions when you should run Repair Permissions (not Repair Disk) in Disk Utility. Ignore the many false warnings that it produces. If there's no change, follow the instructions in this support article.

Lastest itunes update. Tried to purchase several songs and keep getting erroe (-45054) iTunes busy try again. Restarted computer several times, checked firewalls etc.

The top 4 fixes to itunes error 9808 seem to be
1) Go to Start > Control Panel > Internet Options > Advanced, make sure that SSL 3.0 is checked and TLS 1.0 is checked. Also under Security make sure that the “Check for server certificate revocation (requires restart)” is unchecked. Then click ok and fire up iTunes.
2) Time or time zone not correct on your PC.
3) The culprit was Norton. Ggo to Norton’s Personal Firewall and add the program “iTunes Helper.exe” and set the option to “Allowed” (”iTunes.exe should already be in the Allowed category.)
4) Delete or cut the preferences.xml file which contains your iTunes preferences.
Close iTunes if you have it open right now. Then go to C:/Documents and Settings/username/Local Settings/Application Data/Apple Computer/iTunes. Then go to C:/Documents and Settings/username/Application Data/Apple Computer/iTunes and delete or move the preferences.xml file. For Mac users, there is only one file you must delete or move a to a new location and is located at User > Library > Preferences > com.apple.itunes.plist. Restart iTunes and it will recreate those two (or one) files with the default settings. You'll need to set your preferences back to what they were and then connect to the iTunes store.

Unable to update apps on iPad mini. I have even restored the iPad and now I can't download any of my previously purchased apps.

Can someone help me. I am using an iPad mini with iOS 7.0.4 with wifi connection. Have had no problems until recently when I was unable to update apps and then noticed that some apps would open but no data would be available in apps like intelicast and Pinterest. 1. Make sure iPad is using the latest software
2. Settings>General>Date and Time>Set Automatically>On
3. Make sure Time Zone is correct

First, try resetting your iPhone.
Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home button down at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
Then restart the device. Hold the power button until "slide to power off" appears. Slide to power off. After it is off, press the power button to turn it back on.

Unless you have reached the 5 computer limit there is no reason to deauthorize the old computer, simply authorize the new one.

ITunes download error -45054

Hi there
I find myself today to no longer be able to download items from iTunes in the cloud - movie purchases in my library. I try to download but it fails each time with the status of the download showing as ....
stopped (err = -45054)
The computer is authorised and has been working fine from since I got it with iTunes and streaming the movies I purchased as well as downloading.
I have searched for the error number mentioned but have located nothing - does anyone have any ideas how I can this fixed?

I get a download error in iTunes store for purchased items since update. It will not download the items waiting. How can this be fixed?

Since latest update, I get a download error message for 25 songs that are waiting to download. It says to "tap and try again" but still does not download. How can I get them downloaded? They are showing in my iTunes on PC but not on phone.

The problem is with facebook, go to settings / facebook / your user name and delete your account, the do a hard reset (home+power for some seconds).
dont need to delete the facebook app! just delete your integrate account from settings

My library says a song has an error. However previous purchases already says downloaded. How do I re-download when the button is not available because the song was already downloaded?

I then saw there was a Fast and Furious 6 movie Bundle I could BUY (https://itunes.apple.com/us/movie-collection/fast-furious-6-pack-extended/id7502 60885)
I attempted to buy the 6 pack bundle (as I had only RENTED the first movie).
I received an error, "Part of this item is already downloaded" and it wouldn't let me make the purchase.
I've tried restarting, and then totally resetting the AppleTV, but the error still comes up.

I really think problem has something to do with the Starbucks Pick Of The Week redeem code and Itunes does not know how to handle it so it will not let me download the album. Maybe a Bug in the code.
I was trying to download the album "Hurry Up We're Dreaming" by M83. After a couple of days of not being able to download it from iTunes I bought it from Amazon. With how loyal I am to Apple it was hard to buy it somewhere else but I had to. This album is a musical journey from start to finnish - you have to play the song in order or it's not the same.
