Download Error in Adobe Application Manager
I'm trying to login and download new software with the Adobe Application Manager. After login, I get spinning squares and then a Download Error dialog box.
If I click Retry, the squares spin for a few seconds and then the Download Error box appears. If I quit, the spinning squares start again and then the Download Error box appears.

Download error with Adobe Applications Manager
I have been trying to download the trial version of photoshop for 2 days now for a class project. I have updated every possible piece of software on my computer, read through the forums, and my adobe applications manager still will not work. I even tried running it as administrator and saving it to my dekstop. This is how it looks when I try to log in. Can anyone help me? My operating system is Windows
You have been using the Adobe Application Manager to download the trial. You can find the trial of Photoshop CS6 for example at http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=photoshop. You will want to click on the Download Now button.

Download Error with Adobe Application Manager
Recently purchased Creative Cloud hoever when trying to download keep getting the following error message:
I have also tried to install Adobe Download Assistant however receive the same message. Your urgent assistance with this issue is appreciate as obviously I can not use any of the programs I purchased until this issue is rectified.
Regards
JeffOK. I am logged in….but that is where I was earlier. I can’t seem to get a real person…you are the closest I have. When I go to that link, I just keep getting thrown around and around with questions/problems everyone else is having (some the same as mine)…. My problem is that I can’t download the Application Manager. It cuts out on me about 2/3 of the way thru. I think this is the problem some others are having too…but I don’t seem to see any “fixes”. And, no live person to talk thru getting this fixed.
I suppose I could call back on Monday (5 am – 7 pm)… but I was hoping to work on my project tomorrow. I don’t see anyone to call in their 24/7 support. -
I receive a message when trying to open Photoshop CS6, Illustrator CS6, etc., then when I try to follow the directions for troubleshooting, the installer fails to initialize.
Error message: "Adobe Application Manager is needed to resolve this problem. However it is missing or damaged". Then, after download, the program fails to load and displays this message: "Installer failed to initialize. Please download Adobe Support Advisor to detect the problem". When following the link, Adobe Support Advisor has been discontinued 'because their products are now so stable. -I can see how stable they are.. How do I get assistance with Installer issues?
Any helpful thoughts?Hi David,
Kindly try out the steps in the below mentioned link to install Creative Cloud.
Error: "Installer failed to initialize" | Windows

installing cs6 on a new laptop, I get error message "Adobe application manager failed to install"
Is this because I need to deactivate cs5 on one of the computers?
CS5 is on 2 old computers. I used Migration Assistant to migrate the applications to the new laptop which is a 3rd computer.
What do I need to do?I used Migration Assistant to migrate the applications to the new laptop which is a 3rd computer.
Forget that part. The apps won't work. Adobe apps must be installed properly. That may well explain your issues with CS6, too. Generalyl, though, there is no need to uninstall older versions...

How to download and update Adobe Application Manager
Hi, I have been attempting to update my ACC application manager but it fails to install. I was instructed to download Adobe Support Advisor but all it said was to contact support which led me in a circuitous route back to my original enquiry for help. Meanwhile my present application manager is reported as corrupt. I have a window telling me to contact support. Hence this call. Previously, in connection with this issue, I have been informed to go to a page with an APPS navigation tab but I can't find it. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Regards Bill Watters
I was in a similar situation. AAM attempted to update itself but failed repeatedly. Downloading and installing a fresh AAM from the above link (Windows) resolved it and restored full functionality.
However: I have two Win 7 machines, both with master collection CS6 already installed, and the AAM failure occurred on one of them when attempting to download Photoshop CC (single app subscription). On the other machine, AAM updated without problems and transformed into the CC desktop app, as it should:
But on the "problem" machine I'm still stuck with the Application Manager. There's no way to update further:
Now, it apparently works as it should and I'm able to download and install the apps included in the subscription. But IME anything that doesn't update when it should is a problem waiting to happen. So how can I get the CC desktop app on this second machine?
I did find a standalone CC download on the ProDesign Tools site (along with a backup PS CC installer). Can I just run that, or is there a risk of messing up anything? I need to stress that this is a production machine at work and I simply cannot have any extended down time.
Specs for the "problem" machine: Windows 7 professional x64, i7-3820, 32 GB RAM, SSD boot/system 250 GB, 4TB spinning disks, CS6 Master collection, Photoshop CC, Lightroom 4.4, Lightroom 5.0.
I also need to mention that this machine is on a network domain, and the user account had to be changed since CS6 was installed (due to server/network problems). But everything on the machine runs locally. -

I am using a Macbook air and I am trying to download the free trial of lightroom on this mac but everytime the download loads the adobe application manager crashes and ends the download. Any ideas on how I can fix this?
Thanks,
AromingerApplication Manager or the CC desktop app? Sign out of the Creative Cloud desktop app, restart your computer and sign in again. Don't start any other programs. If that fails, sign out and uninstall the Creative Cloud app. Run the CC Cleaner tool. Re-install CC app and sign in.
Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6
