Download error in 'apps' tab in creative cloud

I have installed creative cloud a few times and succesfully downloaded a free trial of photoshop. I now want to download a free trial of after effects however when i click on the apps tab it says that there is a download error help me please

Rosiehough do you receive the error message after clicking on the installation button for After Effects?  What operating system are you using?  Is it 64-bit or 32-bit?

    Yeah I finally had to call Adobe and some there did a screen share with me and they took care of it. I am running OSX 10.9.3 my issue was that the latex OSX update didn't communicate with the app. Like I said Adobe did a screen share with me and fixed it for me I think he just uninstalled and reinstalled and I want to say thats what took care of it.

  • I'm seeing two "Lightroom 5″ under the apps tab in creative cloud.

    I’m seeing two “Lightroom 5″ under the apps tab in creative cloud. Both having the same name unlike Photoshop CC and Photoshop CC (2014). The only difference being that one has an “Update” box next to it while the other has “Up to date”. So is one of this the CC 2014 version of Lightroom or something’s screwed up on my side? I'm on the photography plan.

    I've uninstalled and installed creative cloud desktop 4 times now. Each time the same thing keeps happening. When I try to download an app it just keeps loading and loading and loading. Please help.

    I'm trying to download a free trial of After Effects. I have downloaded the Creative Cloud manager for my desktop, but the Apps tab remains blank with a spinning wheel. The other tabs all show their appropriate options, but the Apps tab shows nothing. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Creative Cloud, but no luck. Is there perhaps a way to download AE without using the desktop manager?

  • Download Error in Apps tab

    It says Download Error when I click on the apps part of my CC widget. I click reload and it still won't go through, and says to contact customer support. I have tried restarting my computer, signing out and back in. Adobe chat was closed. I cannot update any of my apps.

    Here is the download error. It doesn't have a code, I have no option to cancel and when I click 'reload applications' it gives me the same page. I've tried signing out and back in and I have a network connection. I can't find an uninstall for the CC downloader yet, I figure a fresh install may fix it.

    I have exatly the same problem!
    I have been speaking with Tech Support and they did not give me any solution for more that one month.
    Now with CC 2014 tha first time worked properly but I restore my system and I forget to uninstall CC first so..
    For me is not a solution but maybe you have more luck.
    Try the following:
    1. Go to your HD and go to Users/Your user/Local/App Data and delete the folders OOBE and AAMUPDATER
    2. Reboot your computer
    Try to install CC again
